I appreciate so much the comment about screenshooting the anxiety dump, how it doesn’t need to be written specifically in the planner and can be done anywhere - I love so so much that it could have been a moment to promote and plug the product, yet Cary’s lovely nature was more focused on suggesting the actual tool to help us rather than her own sales! I love these vlogs so much 💛
I actually found that when I reduced my overall cortisol levels and reduced stress my food intolerance test changed and I stopped reacting to foods. There was a time when I was reactive to everythinggggg - similar to Carys’ results and now I’m fine. Good luck!
I read an article that these intolerance tests actually only pick up on foods you eat regularly, not actually foods you’re intolerant to. Which is why your results show all the foods you eat a lot of. An elimination diet is truly the only way to get true results.
As a fellow mommy seeing actual colors in her room actually feels so relatable and normal. Like we all start out with this Instagramable pastel colored room and it just slowly becomes more colorful just like the personality of our babies ❤
Also your oldest is almost the same age as my daughter. I’ve been following you for a while and it’s like our kids are developing certain things at the exact same time. Especially the singing is very much the favorite past time here too.
You know that warm feeling of watching people you think you would really get along with in real life? This is how I feel with Carys and James honestly - like I am miles away in another continent (in Lebanon) with utterly different life experiences from what a UK resident or national or whatever usually experiences but I just know that we would get along, with a cup of tea maybe on a cozy day. Meanwhile, I am just working my 9 to 5 shift hahahaha. I feel like we are drawn to people we deem as good people and you are good people.
Amber has the energy we all need 😂 we love her, my 2 and half year old William says hay amber everytime we watch your videos 😅 You are not alone with how you feel one bit, adult life is hard then add children and it's just chaos, feel incredibly alone but busy all in one hit. X
I’ve been re-watching your old Mila puppy vlogs from 5 years ago as I just got a new puppy this week and needed a bit of reassurance that it’s all normal and he’s going to chill out eventually 😅 But going from those to watching this is just SO sweet, so lovely seeing your little family now x
About the wheat intolerances, I have coeliac, there’s alternatives of most things, milk free, wheat free, egg free. The majority of alternatives are pretty good. There’s a bigger price to it, sometimes a lot but the food really isn’t bad
I didn't realize how big a role stress played until I became so ill at one point in my life! My hair was literally thinning and my digestion was horrible, amongst other things. I went to every doctor and had every test done. After all the running around, it was stress and diet that was causing havoc for me. I reduced my stress and ate a bit healthier and within a few months my symptoms disappeared. I have to be mindful of that to this day, as we get too accustomed to adapting to stress and ignore what it's doing to our body. It's a physiological response.
@oliviatomlin2 I actually ended up changing jobs and moving! I worked 60-70 hour weeks and we were away from all our family and friends. Moved closer to people I know so I could have a life outside work to chat and play. Found a job I liked more and was less demanding. Joined a gym and also started doing yoga. Focusing on my body helped me be more grounded and in the moment, instead of in the stress bubble of my head. That was an extreme case though bc I was having mini strokes at 25 and needed radical change! Now I focus on mindful eating, breath, working out or just taking a walk every day. I take that feeling of stress more seriously and I stop what I'm doing and just say to myself "breathe". Deep breathing lowers blood pressure. Honestly having those moments of awareness throughout the day helps a lot overall. Good luck to you! Sending love.
I use Lactose free milk in tea and cereal and it doesn't taste any different to me plus it really works for my intolerance. Also goats cheese is delectable.
I like oat milk for coffee and almond milk for tea. I’ve also heard those intolerance tests can just flag up the food you’ve eaten recently 🤷🏽♀️ I’d take results with a pinch of salt and maybe try cutting them out one at a time
It’s so difficult finding out triggers for different things. I am so affected by stress and anxiety and it always shows physically but I never realise it til it’s finally gone. I’ve been suffering from acid reflux for months now and I have tried eliminating food and also tried so so many medications and yet nothing correlates, apart from days I feel my stress/ anxiety is elevated. Sometimes you have to trust how much stress can cause reactions in the body, because then you start worrying more about the health issue. I hope you find an answer and have faith it will get better ❤️xx
New Alpro Soya it's next to the cows milk. Rice milk is also good. But soya milk is the best in tea. Cheese wise try Honestly Tasty vegan cheese. Cows cheese has addictive additives in it so I'd give it up completely for a few weeks first. Also I went vegan and my eczema disappeared. I've never had any issues since xx
Hey guys, I have gone through every type of milk alternatives and hands down the best milk in tea is M&S semi skimmed oat milk! It tastes the closest to cows milk In tea! I hope this helps ♥️
I'm gluten free and dairy free because of eczema and intolerances! It is worth trialling as for me it made a massive difference! I trialled dairy first by going lactose free (the milk is really similar!). I now use almond or oat milk. Gluten free is hard, and expensive, but M&S have some amazing gluten free ranges, and warburtons have great substitutes as well. I was recommended to eliminate many of the same long list of foods, but find as long as I'm aware of when I'm eating them and don't eat them too often it's ok!
Cold exposure is incredibly good at reducing inflammation and managing anxiety Carys you should definitely look into it! Also free to try and natural, I’d love to hear if your know it’s benefits. Good luck!!
My mums just become vegan and the thing she struggled with most of tea because she loves it, they do a vegan milk called my cuppa and it’s meant to be best in tea, she said it tastes the most similar to a normal cup of tea with cows milk in so you could always try that, they also sell it Sainsburys because I work there so I’m always picking it up for her 😂
If it’s the lactose you can’t have, I recommend lactose free milk for tea/cereal/porridge etc it tastes exactly like normal milk but doesn’t have the lactose! I love oat milk in coffee but I agree, not the best in tea… - hope this helps 😊
I had allergy to apple and green beans when little I went off them for a couple years and then did rotation diet 2 days on 5 days off and I'm no longer allergic to them . Another family member had almost 100 things they were allergic to and cut them out for a year or so then slowly added in with the rotation and retested to make sure no issue and allergies are down to like 10 foods now.. so your allergy may not be a forever thing.
Hey James, a solution for bread is sourdough or Australian Damper, which are made without the yeast. Sourdough is fine for gluten intolerance as the longer the fermentation the better it breaks down the gluten. Fermented foods are very good for gut health too. Good luck with your food journey. 🇦🇺
I heard recently that when pregnant and after for a while autoimmune conditions calm down because your body knows not to attack itself because of the foetus - so it could be dairy or gluten but the pregnancy hide it for a while? Just worth considering- stress is probably going to flare it up more but worth maybe investigating other things too like you are xxx
Oat milk in tea is probably the nicest non dairy milk for tea! Just make sure you put your oat milk in last and don’t put in too much, and make sure your tea is quite strong that’s how I came to like oat milk in my tea! Almond is actually okay too xx
To cut out yeast... breads, buns, cakes, pastries, pretzels, biscuits, crackers, cookies, rolls, and basically anything with flour. Including, but not limited to, meat that is breaded and yeast created alcohol. I need to do this test myself. I'm quite curious what else other than dust and mold that I'm allergic to 😉
Oh Carys, I feel your pain! after nearly a year of unexplained weight gain and inflammatory issues I worked with a holistic physician to get similar tests done and ALL my favorite foods were in Red. It’s sad because like you, I used to be fitness and health addicted (to an unhealthy extreme), and now that I finally allow myself to be more free I have NEW restrictions I HAVE to abide by. It doesn’t seem fair! I’m convinced my past restrictive habits led me here sadly. ANYWAY, I will say this - even though this “exclusions diet” is hard and sad at first, in the long term i know it is helping big time and I’m already noticing a difference! Also remember these restrictions likely won’t be forever, just temporary while I heal my body! You’ve got this!
Idk if where you live has a Whole Foods type store but if so I just recommend you go there find the creamy non dairy milk and start from there bc here in az they have soooooo many options for nondairy beverages like just for almond milk there’s like options for what type of consistency you want and it goes for any alternative milk options.
I saw a dermatologist, gp’s, had allergy testing done etc etc and nothing worked. I then got treatment through homeopathy and they cured my 20+ year extreme eczema and I never changed any foods. I use aveeno moisturiser and don’t wear fake tan. Hope this helps someone xx
I so feel you on the loneliness girl! I’m the first out of my school friendship group to have a baby (she’s 2.5 now). And I’ve come the realisation I just don’t have anything in common with my “friends” anymore. They don’t check in on me or make an effort with my daughter, but why would they? They don’t get it! So now I’m in this phase where I probably should make new friends, but the whole process terrifies me. But as much as I love spending time with her, I can’t be in my mums pocket forever! Sorry for the unload of waffle but… Adulting is HARD! ❤❤
I have IBS and have been working on a Low FODMAP diet which has literally hundreds of restrictions but would highly highly recommend only doing this with a dietitian because I didn’t know when I started out how many nutrients I was missing and how to do things properly!
Almond milk is the best for tea! I used have alpro unsweetened I think it was, took me a little while to figure out how much I needed and to get used to the taste but it was lovely!!
Having watched Carys for years now i do wonder if anyone else notices “ADHD in girls” with anxiety traits from her vibe and “ramblings”😂, she’s literally me in dopamine high anxiety driven mode, I love her faffy personality ❤️
I did this same test too and turns out i am also intolerant to yeast and cows milk. Yeast affects me the most and surprisingly its in ALOT of things. Its in alot of the processed packed food and bread / bakery stuff too
Cheap oat milk is best for tea, (aldi, morrions own etc) it does take a little getting used to but once you are you will hate the taste of cow's milk in it!
I was intolerate to dairy as child I use soya milk and drink green tea and loose chinese tea My daughter is also dairy intolerateand was brought up on goats milk recommended by health visitor
I have soy milk in my tea have done for about 2 years I much prefer it now cows milk in tea tastes awful to me now - i use the unsweetened growers harvest with 2 but the sweetened tesco is nice without sweetener :)
I am dairy free, and have tried all the types of milk, oat is best for tea, but as you dont like it rice milk is 2nd best. I dont like almond or coconut in tea. I dont recommend soya milk, with how much tea you drink, because if you have a lot it increases eotrogen production & can cause unblanced hormones & weight gain
I am in the same boat carys! I have stopped eating gluten and dairy due to stomach/reflux issues. I am a big tea drinker and found that soya was okay or alpro this is not milk, semi oat milk was the best! FYI there’s no such thing as nice vegan cheese or vegan chocolate, stick to dark chocolate as has no milk in it! 😅
I honestly think you need to find something that helps you to slow down…. Yoga, meditation, daily walk. You think you can’t find the time but it will make you more productive and you will cope even better. So hard with kids but take moments in your day…. Even your self care skin routine … and take the moment to breathe and calm your mind. I really think that UV light and less stress will help your eczema ❤
I did a York test for intolerances last year literally for my eczema but it did say they base it on the foods you eat regularly, not everything. At the time I was obsessed with Nutella so naturally hazelnuts came up as my number one thing which freaked me out and put me off eating them for so long. The test is interesting to see the results but I wouldn't rely on it if you get what I mean :)
I would have a doctor do a test on allergies instead of this kind of test. I had one done when I was younger, and it nailed everything. Try as a backup?
Try lacto free milk it’s pretty similar. My partner found instead of cutting it out completely you just reduce the amount you have. So we use lacto free milk but he will have full cows milk yogurts. His body literally just couldn’t keep anything down because he had an overload. So maybe mix it up with gluten free and lacto free is some meals and not all see if it works for you so you don’t miss out on everything
I also love oat milk in coffee, but can’t stand it in tea!! Rice milk is my preference it’s more like red top milk, very thin and watery so it does require some adjustment! My husband likes hemp milk but I can’t stand the aftertaste, soya is the same it leaves a funny taste. Also for vegan cheese applewood smoked is the best in my opinion, and Tesco have a soft cheese with garlic and herb which is delish but maybe not if you can’t have garlic 😂🙈 x
Also my eczema cleared within a few weeks after I cut out dairy, but I’m also not a stressed person so it couldn’t have been that for me and my skin 😂 best of luck trying to get to the bottom of it!x
Asda own dairy free cheeses are the best in my opinion. Their DF version of Philadelphia would go lovely with your veg to sub cottage cheese. Oat milk is the creamiest sub for cows. Chocolate wise, if you buy 75-100% dark chocolate it’s usually DF. There’s so many great subs out there now. Just get stuck in and see it as a fun challenge. That’s what I did when I cut Dairy products 4 years ago and I’ve never looked back 😊 best of luck ❤
My mum had to cut out cow's milk because of a health condition. She nows uses goat's milk, which she says taste the same in a cup of tea. I'm intolerant to dairy and have Alpro 50g protein soy milk. I don't know how it tastes in tea (I'm a green tea girl 🍵) but it tastes delicious and creamy with a Horlicks 🤤 Also I might be better to start with a lactose free milk - it could be the lactose you're reacting to. Or once you've done the elimination, re-introduce lactose free milk first before normal milk to see if it is the lactose. Hope you figure it out. I've had a lot of digestive issues and trying to figure it out is a nightmare!
Ambers speech is coming along so well😭 honestly love listening to her little voice🥹
I love her little voice too she’s so sweet❤
Ambers speech is brilliant. What a funny, smart, little sass pot you've got 🥺
Amber is the most polite little girl ever 🥺 I feel like I’m watching my own child grow because I started watching when you was pregnant was her 😂
I actually found that when I reduced my overall cortisol levels and reduced stress my food intolerance test changed and I stopped reacting to foods. There was a time when I was reactive to everythinggggg - similar to Carys’ results and now I’m fine. Good luck!

Amber's so adorable she's growing up so fast bless her ❤❤❤
30:39 lactofree milk is my fave and the closest to dairy I think. Tastes normal in tea to me and I can have oat or almond in coffee! Worth a try ☺️
Amber is so grown up! Her speech is incredible! Mabel is also looking so big! You guys are all glowing just looking amazing 🫶🏼love the videos
omg the most relatable vlog i've seen in such a long time... (on anyone's youtube channel!)

Oatly whole oat drink which you find in the fridge isle is the best for tea and cathedral vegan cheese is the best x

Hey guys, I have gone through every type of milk alternatives and hands down the best milk in tea is M&S semi skimmed oat milk! It tastes the closest to cows milk In tea! I hope this helps ♥️
Would take these tests with grain of salt! They basically say that everyone is intolerant to everything 😂 love you guys x
Exactly. There are some peer reviewed studies that show how unreliable these studies actually are
Just normal lactose free semi skimmed milk milk! Tastes practically the same you wouldn’t know! X
The best milk for Tea is 'Lactose free' milk, tastes exactly like milk but no Lactose (which is what people are allergic to) :) xx
Omg! Your natural nails are so so long! 😍 Always looking forward to watching your videos 💖💖

I have lactose free milk, the arla range as well as their cheese range. Also change things slowly such as dairy than the month after cut out wheat.
I recommend Oatly Barista (the grey one) for hot drinks! M&S have great alternative food options. :)
Try the lacto free milk for tea, it’s the only one that tastes pretty much like cows milk in tea! 🥰
'My Cuppa' by Alpro was made for tea! 😊
Try almond milk and in the states we have gluten free pasta and stuff but not sure if you can get them in the UK. Almond flour
Great video you are a lovely family, your two little girls are beautiful thankyou for sharing Sheffield
Oat milk in tea is lovely but honestly it depends on what one you’re buying! Unsweetened is key, same as soya!
Oh Carys, I feel your pain! after nearly a year of unexplained weight gain and inflammatory issues I worked with a holistic physician to get similar tests done and ALL my favorite foods were in Red. It’s sad because like you, I used to be fitness and health addicted (to an unhealthy extreme), and now that I finally
allow myself to be more free I have NEW restrictions I HAVE to abide by. It doesn’t seem fair! I’m convinced my past restrictive habits led me here sadly. Almond milk in a nice cup of earl grey is amazinggggg!!

Amber’s little Welsh accent 🥹 sooooo cute
For a cup of tea make sure it’s oatly oat milk and you need a lot more of it than cows milk !
almond milk! it takes a while to get used to but almond milk tastes good in everything! tea, cereal
Playing with my cash register was my FAVORITE when I was little!! Memory unlocked!
Soya milk for tea is deffo a winner in my opinion!
I missed your Instagram quote about being an adult, I needed to hear it today so thank you for sharing ❤ I love listening to your videos
I barely notice Soya milk in my tea! Alpro do a special one specifically for Tea that you could try!!! xx
Amber’s welsh accent is really coming through now it’s so cute!
Soya milk in tea!! I’m currently non dairy for my 5 month old baby whilst BF due to his eczema and soya milk is lovely in tea ☕️ xx
I so feel you on the loneliness girl! I’m the first out of my school friendship group to have a baby (she’s 2.5 now). Jus ordered the journal 📓 I can’t wait ❤️
Alpro - mycuppa the best in tea! Coming from a massive tea drinker the only thing I think that resembles tea with normal milk
You could try garlic infused oil instead of fresh garlic ☺️
Almond milk is the best for tea! I used have alpro unsweetened I think it was, took me a little while to figure out how much I needed and to get used to the taste but it was lovely!!
Surely everything in moderation. I think those test say loads of stuff for everyone
Its in alot of the processed packed food and bread / bakery stuff too
Ambers little welsh accent, too cute!!!
Cheap oat milk is best for tea, (aldi, morrions own etc) it does take a little getting used to but once you are you will hate the taste of cow's milk in it!
Holland and Barrett sells egg free gluten free ect, supermarkets has a gluten free section. If necessary speak to your local gp to get further advice.
Try lactose free milk. Most shops do semi skimmed lactose free. I can’t tell a difference in tea and coffee taste wise
I have unsweetened almond milk as i cant have cows milk and its so nice to me its like more flavor so try that
Where did you do the allergy test? Was it from a website? X
I was intolerate to dairy as child I use soya milk and drink green tea and loose chinese tea
My daughter is also dairy intolerateand was brought up on goats milk recommended by health visitor
I have soy milk in my tea have done for about 2 years I much prefer it now cows milk in tea tastes awful to me now - i use the unsweetened growers harvest with 2 but the sweetened tesco is nice without sweetener :)
It could be the lactose in milk. So I recommend arla lactose free cheese and milk the arla lactose free range has been a game changer for me.
I am dairy free, and have tried all the types of milk, oat is best for tea, but as you dont like it rice milk is 2nd best. I dont like almond or coconut in tea. I dont recommend soya milk, with how much tea you drink, because if you have a lot it increases eotrogen production & can cause unblanced hormones & weight gain
also Applewood smoked vegan cheese is really good, the smoked flavour hides the artificial taste that a lot of vegan cheeses have
Your make up looks gorgeous!!!!!! :)
I am lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant
The lactose free milk made by Arla. Its fantastic tastes just like real milk
Carys as you are good at crafts For ambers cookie box you could cut some little circles out of felt to put in there for her to role play with ❤
Mighty oat based semi skimmed milk, in tea is the best I've found
I am in the same boat carys!
Unsweetened soya in tea is wayyyy better than oat milk! The alpro mycuppa is quite creamy like cows milk
Almond breeze is the best in tea Costco do it but so does Morrisons
What company did you use for your intolerance tests please?
I really want to do one of those tests for my gut health and energy levels but I’m always so sceptical 😂 might be worth a try at least!
Soya milk is a great alternative to try
Amber needs her own channel x
Love your videos,thanks for posting
Sourdough bread is a good thing instead of bread with yeast ❤️
My mum had to cut out cow's milk because of a health condition. She nows uses goat's milk, which she says taste the same in a cup of tea.
I'm intolerant to dairy and have Alpro 50g protein soy milk. I don't know how it tastes in tea (I'm a green tea girl 🍵) but it tastes delicious and creamy with a Horlicks 🤤
Also I might be better to start with a lactose free milk - it could be the lactose you're reacting to. Or once you've done the elimination, re-introduce lactose free milk first before normal milk to see if it is the lactose.
Hope you figure it out. I've had a lot of digestive issues and trying to figure it out is a nightmare!
