Beautiful locomotive Frank! You’re like me, holding out on opening up a brand new locomotive. I have things like that from when I was in the Century Club and Century Club II from over 25 years ago. I bought them and never opened them up. Your Outro to Eric’s Trains was a perfect salute to him. Nice job Frank! Tom

@@TwistedMacGyversTrains I wanted to pre order that locomotive as well, but I had a similar situation as you. I was having medical problems and was in the hospital at the time, and I couldn’t order it. So, they’ll be other things that’ll catch my eye some day 😃

Frank when you said you waited two years to unbox that ES44 I'd assume you were letting it age like a fine bourbon! Now that it's out of the box I see it's more like a fine wine! Beautiful red color! Thanks for sharing it with us!

I am completely shocked by how many cars this engine can pull. I stuck 26 heavy MTH auto carriers behind it and it pulled it like nothing. I am completely blown away! Thank you so much for the comment Wes. 👍

I can’t believe that I left it sealed for a little over two years without opening it. I ran it for the first time using the app via the Bluetooth connection. Mark I am completely amazed by how much technology has changed. This locomotive has so many sounds features I feel like I’ve been in the Stone Age and just came out of my cave. I want more Lionel Legacy and MTH DCS locomotives. I cannot believe how slow this locomotive can go.

First of all awesome locomotive! Second i love Mr.muffins trains i buy a lot of custom run locomotives from him and his layout is awesome! Last thing to mention is i also ordered the Polar Express the black version since i already i have the cars! I can’t wait for that locomotive either!
That is so awesome to hear. I was searching around for the reindeer car and nobody had it. I searched Mr. Muffins inventory and he had it in stock. Needless to say I couldn’t complete the sale fast enough. I was so excited when it finally came in the mail. I ordered the Polar express with the white roofs. My reasoning is very similar, I already have the baby Berkshire polar express with all the extra cars with black roofs. I wanted this set to be completely different. If I’m not mistaken I ordered all eight cars? I can’t remember how many cars there were. I keep telling myself it’s nine with the reindeer car. Mr. muffin said they may be coming in first week of July. I’m so exited and can’t wait. Frank

I already have the older Polar Express passenger cars scale with the white roofs and the scale Berkshire. I wanted an upgraded version scale Berkshire and that’s why i ordered the recent run. So the passenger cars are supposed to be in some time in July or the locomotive?

Yes, this is my first that I can control using the lionChief app. I have my MTH ps3 Big Boy but I don’t have dcs yet. But I did preorder both systems. Cab 3 and DCS #2.
