After watching the said Mind Unveiled video about a year ago, i was hoping someone would take it further and do some serious disecting on photographs of worlds fairs from around that time period. I think i found that someone now. You have a unique talent to present material in a calm and organised way without making some big conclusions upfront. Only food for thought to make up our own minds without being told what 's right and what's not. I hope you will keep doing more of these presentations in the future. This is the way to discover the hidden truth about our history without being too dogmatic about it. Well done sir and thank you!
Much appreciated and your presentation with Campbell - Autodidactic was incredibly interesting too. Your archive of altered imagery is a permanent fixture in my collection now. I'm merely building onto many researchers foundational work, such as yours, that have discussed this type of historical manipulation. Thank you again for the comment and your work in this area.
That's AWESOME! Stand on our shoulders and help the people SEE! Once you have the eyes to see these manipulations...you will see them over and over. My personal collection is getting out of hand. Keep the good work coming and I will keep an eye out for more of your research...again Thank You!...LUV BEAGS 🐶@@LatentLexicon
Yeah that was why it was called the Colombian Exposition. It was celebrating the 500 anniversary of Columbus’ arrival to the Americas with a MASSIVE statue of him in one of the pools.
@ America and all the cities were already here and Abandoned when Christopher Columbus “discovered” America, everything after that has been a cover up.
man this is great work! I actually went searching for worlds fair construction photos on google and your video popped up. I was thinking some of the buildings or photos look like you have elements of original structures, like the ornate fixtures and main structures then totally illustrated parts of the images and or buildings that look like a drawing of a portion of these structure to make the construction time believable. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to do this. i'll explore your channel and see what else you have.
This was so good I just hit subscribe immediately, love this subject, and have never seen this kind of breakdown, amazing job , these lies and cover up narratives have to be broken and brought to light , I’m in , thanks for the hard work and education on this subject , I never knew this was even possible on this level , and now I see it everywhere
Fun interesting factoids: Pynchon's "against the day" novel, a fiction involving time travel, begins at this fair. Chrono trigger, the videogame, also begins in a very similar setting. The fair imagery implies masonic limestone imagery similar to what you'd see in bioshock infinite's floating limestone islands or the Laputa myth from Gulliver's travels.
Excellent to hear and appreciate the comment! Already working on the first episode of this series. I'll post an update once I set a timeline to be finished.
@@LatentLexicon Sorry to jump in here, but considering yours is for me the best researched of these channels, I couldn't help wondering what you think of the statue featured in the 1893 Columbian Exposition Chicago. You know, the figure with both its arms raised, on a plinth in the water? It strikes me as out of place, almost looking like a CG model, replete with signature limitations of what we call rigging. Of course, we have evidence of its existence dating back a while, but still, if ever a candidate for an example of iconoclastic additions to these structures existed, this would be it. It's clearly not on par with its surroundings.
@@LatentLexicon I also noticed in some of the images, statues on crenels appear to look procedural, as do flags, and other details. I can't account for these images appearing in books dated from the early 20th century, but from what I've seen online, in these "truther" videos, question marks abound. Could there be some kind of clandestine gatekeeping movement which churns out 3D GC renderings of buildings which never existed? Don't get me wrong. Classical style buildings really do exist in odd places, signifying established misdirection and counterfeit history, which needs to be addressed. But then why would truth channels promote modern fakery if not to stem the flow of truth, producing yet another misdirection?
HOLY **** … @21:00 … I sure get it @LatentLexicon , right away .. the imagery is full from corner to corner w/ the signatures of retouching, it jumps off the screen … I had to pause & testify 😅 .. excellent presentation approach here , where theres smoke theres fire
Excellent in-depth video. The organisers of this exhibition seem to have been aware that the future would have many questions about how this thing was organised on such an epic scale in so short a time, and seem to have intentionally muddied the waters rather than attempt to explain it.
As someone who was born and raised in Chicago (alumni Columbia College Chicago - Film & Video), a very interesting and impressive effort. I am a huge Photoshop nerd/fan. So, I honestly appreciate your effort in this video on such an awesome event.
Very well done my friend. I look forward to watching more of this series. This is even more proof that history has been manipulated and maybe even completely fabricated.
Hey LL…2min in and love it already. Subbed before I started. Quite a library, you’ve been busy. Fantastic. You, LA, OWE, MLB are cracking out some content. Keep ‘em coming. What a community. Bit by bit. Little by little. It’s coming together. Well, just amusing at this point really. Speaking of OWE…did I pick up a little “a boot”? Big fan of Canada 🇨🇦, ya know. 🍻🏛
Excellent to hear and thank you for the comment. I appreciate the acknowledgment with other larger creators in this community. As you mentioned, little by little the veil is being lifted. I don't have definite answers, however, there are genuine anomalies here. You picked up an accent eh? I don't know what you're talking aboot 😉
@shrimpkins Leslie van Nimwegen You can find examples online. He also created photorealistic album covers for musicians. Not all of his artwork is photorealism.
Retouching and manipulating photo images is why my grandmother's high school graduation photos and those of all her classmates from 1912 and the same for my parents in the early 1950s are wonderful images. Meanwhile, my high school graduation photos and those of almost everyone in my high school graduating class from 1981 look weird and demented because, I suspect, no image retouching was done. The last thing we all want is to be photographed, honestly, just as we appeared to the photographer the second he took the photo.
The short answer, after many episodes, seems to be primarily cosmetic. To improve the images/photographs to be aesthetically pleasing, vibrant and enticing as possible to the public or potential buyers of albums/souvenirs. I enjoy skeptical thinking, in moderation, and tried to investigate this event to the best of my ability. Initially discovering the earliest imaging techniques and the ability to edit them quite effectively swung my judgement in the direction of thinking maybe historical events could have been manipulated, edited or even changed drastically. This could very well have happened at this event. It is a technology that should be heavily considered when viewing any imagery from the past. This event still puzzles me in many aspects. I'm not an expert by any means and am only using my graphic arts background to explore these scenes and question them. I touch on this more in episode 8 discussing the linotype where the combination of the fair itself, the ability to control and flood the channels of information with the advancement of printing technology along with the ability to edit and manipulate images/photography - would certainly be one of the most powerful assets to control societal perception...ever...at this time. This fair in particular was referred to as a university like setting, where visitors would come to learn, observe and participate in worldly settings. It could be viewed as a step into presenting an encyclopedia of information to the visitors - a net positive - despite things like human zoos. Or, maybe a more skeptical or even sinister approach of being a testing ground. One of the most ambitious and grand psychological operations to test out methods of mass media manipulation and public perception of an event or even history itself. As always, that's for you to decide 😉 Thanks for your comments - appreciate it very much!
Better question is where is the evidence these things existed before the fair? Where are the municipal maps? Where are the eye witness accounts? If we did not build them, then they would seem like fantastical structures that would surely catch the attention of the general public for as long as we have known about them. Why is there no general accounts for them spread throughout the US and the world? This is one of the worst conspiracy theories I have ever seen and way too many people buy into it.
Great introduction and can't wait for the series. Would you recommend the book quoted at the end? After diving into, and still wandering around in, the rabbit holes of food and agriculture - specifically the false narratives that it represents - I have come to realise just how far we have strayed from what could be descibed as "natural". Thus "Listen to the Land Speak" seems to fit perfectly. Thank you.
"Our ancestors lived in a unique and complex society that was inspired by nature and centred upon esteemed poets, seers, monks, healers and wise women, all of whom were deeply connected to the land around them. This relationship to the cycles of the natural world - from which we are increasingly dissociated - was the animating force in their lives." That is a small snippet of the inside cover and felt it suited your comment. Yes, I would definitely recommend the read. Incredibly interesting. Thank you for watching!
Awesome research, and I downloaded to further look over what's there. I noticed 27:22 the flags are flying in different directions, and that's on a number of other photos from this fair and others. Just one extra irregularity that's constant. Thanx for sharing and your channel is awesome.
What a GREAT video. The discipline it takes to go through this info and relay it to the people, WOWWWWW!!! Thanks so much, I Troy appreciate and I hope many will understand and realize what is truly unfolding before their eyes. Binging all videos now because I gotta immerse myself in this occult knowledge💯Much appreciated again my friend. Never stop!!!
34:22 it looks like that square box of a building was drawn in to hide the building behind it. What year is the photo with out the bridge? And what building is that with the dome? 🤔
Oh there it is "looks like." Yeah, just because something "looks like" something else doesn't make it that thing. That's the problem with these conspiracy theories. Most of the evidence is something that "looks like" another thing, usually being identified by people who don't know what they're looking at or talking about.
My mom knew about those old buildings and old pictures because she had a bunch of pictures like that and I would ask her when I was little are these pictures or are they cartoons and she said they were both and I was like how can they be both and she said because they want you to believe a certain story about them, I was too young to understand back in the 70s and 80s ,and she used to talk about those old buildings being demolished and get angry about it, she used to live in Boston and Cincinnati, and she knew why buildings had windows and doors in the basement and hidden tunnels etc ,she was always talking about floods from the 1900s and going and visiting old buildings with my great grandmother and taking me with them before I started kindergarten, I didn't understand any of that back then but I do now, and about giants, my other great grandfather from my dad's side told me about giants when I was little but I thought he was just telling me stories, little did I know he was telling the truth because I found lots of pictures of giants while doing research, unless those are fake too but actually I have some film photoge of some so I know some of them giants were real, great video 👍
While this is very interesting, I'm thinking that a lot of frustration could be be easily overcome by simply looking up the definition of the word "illustration". I would say that manipulation of photographs *when intended for print* should be more or less taken for granted when viewing any material published in this era. This is not at all surprising, the technological syntax of the time pretty much required it. If you wanted to *illustrate* something with a photograph, and you wanted it to be *clear* when printed, it was going to be retouched.
I used to take these documents for granted. Which is more or less assuming that these images, publications, illustrations etc. represent truth without question or very little proof. I'm merely asking questions now. From the sheer amount of books collected over several years, taking these historical documents for granted is a space I can no longer linger in. Appreciate the comment.
@@LatentLexicon As a researcher and a collector of antique photos, it never really stood out to me. You'd see a photo and you'd see it was retouched, and that was it. There are even retouched negatives in my collection. The intent was usually not to deceive, but rather to make the images more realistic, or in any event more clear. If you wanted to increase contrast locally in an image, make a blurry edge more crisp, highlight details that the camera "missed" then the image had to be doctored in some way. Gentler techniques like dodging and burning (which we generally just accept as part of the photographic process and not the same as doctoring an image) were either not possible, or didn't produce a strong enough effect to make up for low quality of early halftone printing. I rarely see retouching on actual photographic prints (ie. on albumen, etc.) from the era, although it was done too sometimes. However, I did enjoy this video. I think most people can spot a retouched photo, but they do not know how it was done or why. I also wonder if, in their own era, the retouching was so obvious to the general public. I think that would be a very interesting subject to explore.
This is one aspect I do enjoy about these presentations and that is the thoughtful and interesting comments. I tend to learn more from comments like this as they provide more threads to pull and offer additional perspectives. It is safe to say that the second last sentence is precisely where I was situated. Picking out obvious alterations in the images, yet not knowing how or why. I wonder as well if this type of retouching was obvious to the general public - it is an excellent point and would be suitable for this series to explore. Do you have any of your collected negatives or images online for browsing? Would love to take a look.
That plus maybe a little research about how a photograph, edited or not, manifests itself into a book. Engraving. It’s via an engraving. The negative is projected onto a metal plate treated with light sensitive chemicals, and that engraving is now a stamp in the simplest terms. The photos were edited. Interesting. I didn’t know that. But parsing and reparsing of the “coded” language was just straight up lack of knowledge.
I’d love you to have a look at photos from the Nashville fair; specifically the pyramid that was next to Parthenon. It’s very visible n looks very old in photos yet I’d omitted from The official Illustrations
Really cool explanation of how photos could be manipulated during this period! I had not considered just how much could be changed after an image was developed. I'd argue that there's an element of hyperbole in framing these alterations as lies or deceptions tbh...ideas of what constitutes "truth" are ever-shifting right? For sure there's a lack of honesty in how these images were made and presented, but I'm sure that if people were wealthy enough to afford these souvenir books, they were also aware of what could be done to wildly alter visual media. History should be more honest, for sure! But I do believe the makers of these books were concerned primarily with aesthetics when they made these alterations, rather than presenting a false image of the exposition.
I would largely agree with your comment. As the series progressed it became apparent that the majority of the visible artistic touches were cosmetic - most of the time adding contrast. At least with these documents. However, this is a technique that should be heavily considered with potential tampering within history and historical documents. In tandem with the invention and implementation of the Linotype, briefly covered in episode 8, would have been the height of mass media control. There are examples of famous historical images being manipulated - some even being composite images. - Ulysses S. Grant in front of his troops - Abe Lincoln portrait - Stalin and airbrushed Nikolai - Canadian Prime Minister with the Queen - airbrushed the King out - how scandalous 😏 History should be more honest - indeed. There are enough examples of high profile images that showcase deliberate attempts to rewrite or alter perception of history/historical events. Maybe there is an element of hyperbole. In my opinion, it's merited. Considering the ability of retouchers and graphic artists with a novel technology that was no doubt viewed as a powerful tool to influence perception in all facets of society, we should examine these events intently. I am by no means stating that it's all mischievous, but to not consider and press the details of the past seems disingenuous. Even if the 95% of the editing/manipulation/retouching is benign - I enjoy looking for the 5% that may hold clues to a mystery. And try to do that in the most honest and objective way, using sources and presenting ideas derived from research. I am also just some amateur historical sleuth on the interwebs and would advise people to do their own investigations too. With a background in the arts I was completely blown away and fascinated by the retouching of imagery. Simply incredible! Thanks for taking the time to comment and providing some thought provoking ideas.
How are their full grown trees in these photos? I’m a landscaper and we can never plant trees that big. Not to say they couldn’t haul large trees in (or they built around them), but most trees are small when you plant.
Definitely says “1492”. Our timeline supposedly has been altered like we aren’t really in 2024 there are discrepancies with the Gregorian calendar and others. Some say we are off by 1000 years pictures of old buildings with dates etched in them with Roman numerals provide a solid case.
The whole theme of the expo was the 400th anniversary of Columbus's 1492 voyage. And just because something has a year carved or painted on it doesn't mean they built it then. I have stone chisels and could go carve Const. 2047 on the side of city hall, or 1522AD on the corner of a McDonald's, that doesn't magically edit when they were built
Yes we’ve been hoodwinked. I’ve been subscribed to Mind Unveiled for a bit now and have enjoyed them. I subscribed to your channel as well because of your presentation, research, awareness, etc… It can be mind numbing when a person realizes just how much our history has been manipulated or all together fabricated. Looking forward to viewing more of your work.
The book is literally titled "Campbell's ILLUSTRATED History of The World's Columbian Exposition". That was 45 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Is there a point to any of this, or is it sort of a Russel Crowe "A Beautiful Mind" type situation? Are you attempting to ascribe some nefarious plot to the publishers of a souvenir book from the 18th century? To what end?
Indeed, you are correct. Illustrated also means multiple things - to clarify, to demonstrate, to provide with visual features intended to explain or decorate or to actually illustrate/draw. You have isolated a particular meaning and argued for a simple explanation - The book states it's an illustrated history, therefore, of course there are illustrated elements. It’s unfortunate you feel this was a complete waste of time. Am I attempting to uncover a nefarious plot from an 18th century book surrounding this event? Not necessarily. However, the art of image manipulation was far beyond what I had known and explored images related to a curious event. Are you stating that there could be no nefarious activity possible in 18th century books/imagery/history? We are now both pulling at straw. There are examples of famous historical images being manipulated - some even being composite images. - Ulysses S. Grant in front of his troops - Abe Lincoln portrait - Stalin and airbrushed Nikolai - Canadian Prime Minister with the Queen - airbrushed the King out Why were these images edited - To what end? There are many books I’ve collected that have very clear indications of illustrated elements. Many seem to be cosmetic, and that is understandable. This is an idea echoed further in the series as well. Maybe some do have more nefarious plots - I do not know. And you know what - maybe I am completely wrong. I simply propose some wild ideas to ponder and have not indicated at all that I am correct in this episode or series. Appreciate the comment and hope that you watch more, as unlikely as that may be. I would like to have those who are questioning what I say and holding these videos to some level of scrutiny over blind agreement. I always encourage further research into anything discussed.
i have some quite old books that demonstrate this - including one using Queen Vicorias name and displaying the 'great castles' in britain - one of them clearly has cows added ........... on the front lawn
Grafic arts was changing rapidly in this era. The work force was brush and pencil as entering the new trade of photography. Awkward yes. All those people in the trade pulling back the advancement of the new technology.
I’m a little more than halfway through and so far I’m loving the video. Thank you for the information and perspective. I’m curious though, since a lot of these books have obvious photomanipulations, are there any books that you would recommend that are closest to the truth?
Getting your hands on old Encylopaedia's would be beneficial in order to reference terms that may be changing in our current times. A few definitions may have been altered in the past few years. Some say this would be simply updating, yet it could also be outdating - suppose that is subjective.
The first impression I had upon seeing these images, is that the entire thing is modern invention, CGI renderings of models, passed through various digital imaging filters to mimic authenticity. Of course, cynical types should always leave wiggle room, and so, considering classical buildings standing in places where they ought not, according to the mainstream narrative, a coverup of sorts really did take place. Do channels like these hope to expose things, or provide a new level of gatekeeping and misdirection?
@@mitchellchannel5265 Yeah, but... use of the word Tartarian doesn't sit right, and some of the images might be doctored, plus we know that TH-cam only promotes channels that carry some form of falsehood.
You maybe right. They let you see this because it's already done and nothing us can do about it. It's a form of karmic thing. They confess of the things they've done so they have less karma. Example is the CIA confessing they killed JFK but only after so many years have passed. @@-newuser-707
You have blown the lid way off. Everyday i get up and question everything and i am have a melt down with what am finding! Something is very wrong with everything. And i am struggling to cope with it. all.
@@LatentLexiconI think he's just referring to the difference in definition between the words "image" and "photo". From Google; "Image - Any visual object modified or altered by a computer or an imaginary object created using a computer. " "Photo or photograph - Anything taken by a camera, digital camera, or photocopier" "The term "image" is often used in fields such as graphic design, art, and advertising to refer to visual content in general. On the other hand, a photo is a specific type of image created by capturing light on a photosensitive surface, such as film or a digital sensor." You've shown excellent examples of images that were made well before computers. Images created by men have unfortunately been used to manipulate others for a very long time.
different cameras and manipultion due to when printing the highest quality photo is best to make copies of. a copy of a copy of a copy you loose detail.
I want at something to this, at least, from what I have been able to catch in other parts of the world. We are told that the little I in old dates are, in fact, a 1. However, from around like 1735 and back, when you catch the og script of dates on rock, or wall, they are NOT a 1, they are an i. The most blatant example of this is an inscription around the co-cathedral in the city of Alicante, Spain. According to the local historians (who don't actually know what is written there, but let's suppose they are correct) the people of the city who graduated from collage in another city would engrave their title and name on the wall of the cathedral, because it was seen as a symbol of pride among their peers as only the rich could go and do so (as Alicante didn't have an university). Only one of those inscriptions has a surviving date in normal numbers (not what we have been told, is roman numerals), but who knows if the others did have them too at one point. However, it DOESN'T say "1702" it says EXTREMELY CLEARLY "i702". There are photos online, check them out. It's not on the "main" side, but on the back. You'll see what I mean. What in the actual world is going on, man? Did the apocalypse happen and our ancestors forgot? Why would it say "i" as in "Jesus", why insert a whole millennium of history? I've seen others use a j, others an x, in old church facades, buildings and tiles, since south Spain was at one point something akin the center of ceramics. They, of course, remove this as soon as they can in "restorations" or even paint over them.
I've come across this line of thinking and would have to do much more research on it to come to any reasonable conclusion. It certainly is interesting though and am sure there may be documents I have collected that have these details. Maybe a future video topic, appreciate the comment!
@@LatentLexicon I would love to see those, and even form a study group because while cyber-security and computers are my thing, art and history are my passions. Mind if I share an hypothesis about what may have happened? I know there are alternative histories too, but the second they become so widespread without censorship, with videos up to 6 million view sometimes, like the Tartaria one as it is most often conceived, I know it's not true, not as the "mainstream" is. That, and Tartaria in spanish ancient is often associated with people with small hats on their heads and a preference for usury. But I'm willing to listen. Anyway, my hypothesis is this: The M in millennium, and all those texts who start with MDC, MDD, MDCC, MDCCI, I, J, X etc actually meant "Millennium Domini Deus", "Millennium Dominus Cristus/Xristus", "Millennium Domini Cristus Iesus/Iesus Cristos" or something akin to that (forgive me if it's not what we have been taught as proper latin, I'm going for what I believe is the approximation, since I speak spanish as my mother tounge). IF at some point something happened, say, the destruction of the true Roman Empire (remember that magically ALL empires up I think to Napoleon called themselves as such) then, after they have torn apart the spanish and french empire and perhaps under the guidance of the M lodges, disguised as the british crown (who had basically all the planet under their pocket, including China and India, and all those who coordinate religion) then they could have started calling our times not by "Millennium Domini" or "The thousand years of Christ", but simple as "Millennium.", especially after the French revolution. Thus, taking advantage of how many illiterate there were and to separate the people from God, or at least, their history and its association its Christianity they began to say that the M had nothing to do with religion or God, but that it meant simply a "1000", thus M800 goes from "the 800 year in God's Millennium" or "I800" to "1800". I believe that it is no coincidence so many empires fell between 1760-1860.
I am not an expert by far but I seem to remember, I'm 70, that latin and greek may have played a part in this as educated people, men at that time, were very fond of displaying their knowledge especialy young men. After all women could die if educated to much due to an over heated brain. Crazy right! But that was the belief for hundreds of years.
@@Artemisarrowzz There's something terribly wrong with the current timeline of the Roman empire. For starters, where did all these ancient ruling families go ? According to Wikipedia, the Orsini family is the oldest recorded Italian noble family, and their existence can only be traced back to 998. Problem here is that we're unable to bridge a 200-year period between the collapse of Roman governance in the 5th century and the return (or apparition) of widespread written records in the 7th and 8th centuries. That alone is just goofy.
23:55 although I'm not completely finished with this video I'm just pointing out that yes we know masking was used (And I'm looking for these answers as much as anyone) But I don't see any intentional deception yet... But I'm hoping I find it in this video. Finishe watching... Ok..great content. A few months ago I decided to go straight to the heart of the matter and since our country was just getting things together in the way that we know it today I knew there would be a paper trail if these things were built by "us"... So I decided to look for building permits and the addresses for these buildings and they exist but I don't know to what extent. I started looking and got really bogged down in the size of the library of Congress So if anyone has better research skills this is a hot tip
This is an excellent thread to pull at. I may dig into this after publishing the next episode and appreciate the thought. Glad you enjoyed the video and I'm only presenting findings. I don't have definitive answers and am looking for different perspectives - like this comment. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
In the reprint of the sears robuxks 1908 catalogue, there's a contraption something like the red viewer you had as a kid, that xhanged pics when you pushed the thing down... Its something very similar... Wlso the quote or whatever on the inside cover/front page..
Astute observations but I’m not sure we’re your going with all of this? Your focusing on extreme minutiae but what’s the bigger picture of your expose’? Certainly the fair itself is real because I’ve seen many photos of it. There’s plenty of other material about this fair that needs looking into such as the impossibility of this all being created in 2 years, as has been stated for example. These are merely cosmetic touch-ups and would be understandable for this time and topic. I DO appreciate your open mind though and smooth narrative. Your inquiries tend to be somewhat dense and, if I may say, unimportant. I do state this with utter respect though.
I really appreciate this comment and will explain some of the direction. The main focus of this particular episode is to question that certainty you expressed in the imagery. Yes, there are thousands of images surrounding this event and are used as evidence, however, some of that evidence has been tampered with. As you mentioned, a large majority of it may be benign or merely cosmetic. I would agree, yet it is the awareness that this evidence can be manipulated to an extent that is indistinguishable from an original. In hindsight, the editing of images may not have been the ideal avenue, but it is an important piece of information to have in mind. To keep present while looking at all historical evidences. The other aspects you mentioned are what the series has shifted to. Looking at larger details such as the underground infrastructure, building materials, landscaping, accounts from primary resources and many more in the works. Finding that balance of presenting material that is both interesting and digestible will be a continuous battle. Constructive criticism is always welcome. It is the only way I can continue to improve.
It is significant because it implies that a lot of these buildings weren't as magnificent as we'd like to think they were, instead what we're seeing is possibly a heavily distorted presentation. The video already shows that details can be drawn on the buildings and people themselves and sometimes with such accuracy that if we weren't aware of this being done we would have viewed the uncanny appearance as just a side effect of it being rendered in black and white. For instance in 17:38 it's clear the entire building has been brightened up to make it look more reflective and impressive than it actually is as the water itself reflects a different image.
The vanilla sky effect is usually what to look at first. Look for signs of the setting being unnaturally staged. Look at the people, or lack thereof. People out of place, their clothing, people on the beach in suits and no beach gear. Check the mode of transportation, horse and buggy and muddy streets among exquisite buildings is usually a sign that we are being manipulated.
This "vanilla sky" was usually done to isolate subjects. I have not seen substantial enough evidence to indicate this was done to hide anything. Unless you have tangible pieces of evidence beyond speculation/conjecture? The horse and buggy talking point is getting quite tiresome - When engines, particularly steam engines became widely used, the term "horsepower" was used to compare the output - How many horses that specific engine could replace or equate to. It is still used today and is used because they were the driving power of various industries. I suggest looking up draft horses, that were specifically bred for hauling and work. You may be surprised. These are not the feeble creatures that are commonly portrayed in this "horse and buggy" spiel. As for the buildings, there are tens of thousands of catalogues from various companies that showcase, brickworks, stoneworks, masonry, concrete/cement, artificial stone, plasters, polymers, stuccos, etc. I'm in the process of collecting as many as possible which will then be published on the channel. There is substantial evidence to support these incredible buildings - but that does not mean it is the proof and I could very well be wrong. There is definitely mystery within our history. You seem to have it all figured out though - I merely align more with data and sources.
I never knew of the false reality that was presented in the world's fair chicago..have you ever wondered were al the hitching post are in photos from gilded age?
Sha~Zam! But when the excitement of discovery fades, the reality is hard to hold onto and shocking to me the way those who disagree about all the lies we are conditioned to accept always accuse me of being crazy or on drugs, they are who decides which insane asylum or prison or orphanage or world's fair for survivors of resets ... Buildings, events, people, fires, war, time, land, books, photos, etc. So what is left to trust ?
Questioning our reality and the paradigms we have been told will surely isolate. I understand. Yet, even this small channel has many who are at least open to alternative theories and open to other possibilities. Trust yourself 🙏
I knew people that had actully went. I knew people's family members that had worked there. I saw personal photos. But I am supposed to believe some random internet guy over them?
Could the same thing not be said in return - why trust the claims you have made? Regardless, within this video is zero indication that you should "trust" or follow what is said. In fact, there are several instances where I invite the viewer to decide for themselves. These are simply findings viewed through a particular lense and asking questions along the way. Now, we have a unique position here where you have stated that you have personal connections with this fair. Even personal photographs which is quite a statement considering cameras were not widely available at this time and there have been indications within these documents that photography was reserved primarily for promoters, publishers, and news outlets or journals. You also knew other family members who worked there which sounds very interesting. I'm keen on getting information and acquiring anything possible from this event. So could you elaborate on any details relating to this event? These connections? Where did they work? Do you have access to those personal photos - I would love to see them if you could email me.
Cheap mass market souvenir books books lied about how good and honest they were and used everyday common editing techniques to try and make their cheap souvenir stand out from the literally hundreds of others!? You're so smart to have been the first person to discover that mass produced souvenirs aren't 100% accurate and honest depictions of historic events, and that publishers will lie about how truthful and honest they are! They may have gotten away with it for 131 years, but not anymore!
I have no idea why you think this is something amazing and revolutionary. To turn photos into a bokk, they were engraved by hand, this everything was redrawn. Engravers freely improved upon images because they stilm thought of themselves like painters. There is literally nothing new or exciting here. And nothing hidden or nefarious, except that the publishers wanted the prettiest presentation of the buildings at the fair.
Ah, nothing revolutionary here. The ability to manipulate the most prolific and most trusted documenting medium (photography) of the era. It's just pretty pictures - gotcha.
@LatentLexicon Literally no one with half a brain doesn't know pictures were altered. Go look at pictures of ladies and see how often their waists are painted smaller! The exhibition was one of many similar ones beginning with the World's Fair in the UK. Yes, people put up really spectacular mostly temporary buildings really fast. Then they were taken down. Guess what? Theater sets in the 1800s were much more elaborate than those now, too. Oooooo it's a conspiracy.
@LatentLexicon look at the official photographs of Queen Alexandra of Demark when she was young. She was notorious for her highly retouched photos with fake waists. But thet weren't all over painted so you can see dramatically different shapes in different photos from the same era. Haven't you ever noticed that no one has acne or scars in old yearbooks??? Those were heavily retouched too until the 1960s.

Wow, I just went back and looked and it does look like it 😲
Yeah that was why it was called the Colombian Exposition. It was celebrating the 500 anniversary of Columbus’ arrival to the Americas with a MASSIVE statue of him in one of the pools.

man this is great work!

Thanks for sharing your insight. Great work.
What a great teacher you are! So we’ll-organized with you explaining the groundwork - I feel like I’ve attended a course for weeks! Subbed!
Very kind - appreciate the comment and glad you enjoyed the episode.
Thank you, I've been looking for someone who could see what I see. Very well done, and looking forward to more. 😊
This was very interesting and well presented. Most I've enjoyed something on TH-cam in months. Thank you!
Fun interesting factoids:
Pynchon's "against the day" novel, a fiction involving time travel, begins at this fair.
Chrono trigger, the videogame, also begins in a very similar setting.
The fair imagery implies masonic limestone imagery similar to what you'd see in bioshock infinite's floating limestone islands or the Laputa myth from Gulliver's travels.
🎉
Will definitely be looking forward for more of this series. 👍
My dad was a a wedding photographer in the 60’s . He retouched photographs in the dark room . He was an amateur . Imagine what the pros could do !
Wonderful information and this gives me validation that I'm not crazy.

@@JustMe-te8cz Wow, good stuff!
This is excellent!
P.S. Though I see your point, the question is: What do you feel the motives are/were for doing these retouched photos/etchings/engravings?
As always, that's for you to decide 😉
Thanks for your comments - appreciate it very much!
amazing video. thanks for the content
If the buildings were found and not built for the fair, why do they look so xixth century-ish?
Better question is where is the evidence these things existed before the fair? Where are the municipal maps? Where are the eye witness accounts? If we did not build them, then they would seem like fantastical structures that would surely catch the attention of the general public for as long as we have known about them. Why is there no general accounts for them spread throughout the US and the world? This is one of the worst conspiracy theories I have ever seen and way too many people buy into it.
Wow this video blew me away and gave me a new set of eyes for these pictures… thank you great work
Excellent to hear and that is the goal - Giving you the tools to test and decipher for yourself.
This relationship to the cycles of the natural world - from which we are increasingly dissociated - was the animating force in their lives."
That is a small snippet of the inside cover and felt it suited your comment. Yes, I would definitely recommend the read. Incredibly interesting. Thank you for watching!

Welcome - Thank you
34:22 it looks like that square box of a building was drawn in to hide the building behind it. What year is the photo with out the bridge? And what building is that with the dome? 🤔
Oh there it is "looks like." Yeah, just because something "looks like" something else doesn't make it that thing. That's the problem with these conspiracy theories. Most of the evidence is something that "looks like" another thing, usually being identified by people who don't know what they're looking at or talking about.
very intriguing, love your work!

It’s very visible n looks very old in photos yet I’d omitted from

Amazing research, keep going!
Appreciate that, much more in the works - Thanks.

Grant in front of his troops
- Abe Lincoln portrait
- Stalin and airbrushed Nikolai
- Canadian Prime Minister with the Queen - airbrushed the King out - how scandalous 😏
History should be more honest - indeed.
Great video. Great channel. More shenanigans pls, I insist..
Thank you! Now what did I do with those shenanigans...
How are their full grown trees in these photos? I’m a landscaper and we can never plant trees that big. Not to say they couldn’t haul large trees in (or they built around them), but most trees are small when you plant.
Just did a recent episode on the landscaping elements of this exposition and would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Brand new trees as large as Sequoias can easily be "planted" in paintings.
The same way the literally trucked in all the massive Canary Island date palms in Disneyland in the *weeks* leading up to opening day.

THINK I MAY HAVE SPOTTED A ‘BINGO’ MOMENT. 25:14 LOOK AT THE DATE ON THE BRIDGE TO THE RIGHT OF THE LAMPS IN ALL 3 - TELL ME THAT DOESN’T SAY 1492!!!
Think that is the whole COLUMBUS part of the exposition u know ?
🤔

There's Jarid Booster. He goes beyond the World's Fairs and shows this architecture was worldwide.
Also Lucius Aurelian. Good story of his great grandfather.
Grant in front of his troops
- Abe Lincoln portrait
- Stalin and airbrushed Nikolai
- Canadian Prime Minister with the Queen - airbrushed the King out
Why were these images edited - To what end?

Pretty sure this channel just wants to expose the truth to anyone who will listen, idk about any others though

@@LatentLexiconI think he's just referring to the difference in definition between the words "image" and "photo". From Google;
"Image - Any visual object modified or altered by a computer or an imaginary object created using a computer. "
"Photo or photograph - Anything taken by a camera, digital camera, or photocopier"
"The term "image" is often used in fields such as graphic design, art, and advertising to refer to visual content in general. On the other hand, a photo is a specific type of image created by capturing light on a photosensitive surface, such as film or a digital sensor."
You've shown excellent examples of images that were made well before computers. Images created by men have unfortunately been used to manipulate others for a very long time.
different cameras and manipultion due to when printing the highest quality photo is best to make copies of. a copy of a copy of a copy you loose detail.
WOW! nice work, let's go deep

There's something terribly wrong with the current timeline of the Roman empire.
Just imagine the skulldugery that went into depicting people of African decent

Their excessive claims of "authenticity" would be an example of "Thou doth protest too much, me thinks"🤔
The art of historical manipulation is used constantly now
Yep, they used Photoshop early on in photography. They called it something else tho.
I like it a lot!! ❤

Welcome - Thanks for coming along for the ride!
I never knew of the false reality that was presented in the world's fair chicago..have you ever wondered were al the hitching post are in photos from gilded age?
13:26 #31 Alec Baldwin - Cloning or time traveling??? Are history is all lies after lies.
Can fix up your….THICK neck 😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏yes!
Perhaps the tree was removed from the pathway to hide the fact the buildings were much older than the historical narrative had stated.
Certainly possible - an episode on trees/landscaping and foliage on the grounds will be in the near future.
They were all paintings or combinations of paintings and photos of miniaturized sets.

Lies wrapped in truth or truth wrapped in lies - These topics are rarely black and white. Excellent quote choice. Love this movie!

Only 20k views in a year??? Algorithm no like you!😅

This is about Corea. This is about Choseon. and this is all about the reason why we all suffer under the system nowadays…
Ok.
Thanks for watching.
