It sounds very weak and odd for me. Is it youtube compression or just my headphones, because I don't think Ophidian is capable of failing that bad with a kickdrum. Edit: listening again now on better headphones, the 2:55 kick absolutely annihilates ;)
I thought it was an into kick to the climax but in fact not, you still overthink guys, it's mostly just a little softer variation before a very noisy kick before the outro drops.
@Soulblighter It seems to be very deep into subbass and not the normal bass frequencies, my subwoofer goes down to 20hz but even it struggles with that kind of bass
Forgot to mention, it’s part of the build up, like in house music how the break sometimes has a weaker kick with the bass cut, this way the main drop stays more powerful in contrast to the rest of the track
