Chiltern have quite a big shortage of rolling stock at the moment, but it's no excuse as they've been overcrowded for quite some time now, and should have thought ahead considering how much they've grown in popularity and that extra route to Oxford.

Been to Oxford and it’s such a beautiful city. Shame that Network Rail wouldn’t electrify the line from Didcot Parkway to Oxford so that Class 800 and Class 387 can run fully electric from London Paddington.
