In this game (with this balance), even one extra tank or harvester in the first 5 minutes of the game can determine the winner. So in such tournaments you cannot play with worms: a random player can mock only one player and send worms only to him, which will lead to a mandatory defeat.
Even this fight is a good example of this: I built 2 extra tanks and harvesters each before building the MCV and starting to build a new base. And it was this small delay that ruined me.

Something where worms wait 10 minutes before spawning, or one worm spawns at each base, could make it more fair

@@Franimus In 2022 tournament it was setup in this way. Maybe we reconsider again.

What's the point of DUNE if there's no WORMS!?
The LISAN-AL-GHAIB did not rode in to Arrakeen on a transport ship! He rode in on a WORM!
    WORMS ! WORMS ! WORMS ! WORMS !

Don’t forget that BLACKSIR (that’s me) didn’t see 80% of the entire map due to the “fog of war” and therefore it was unknown how much the opponent was ahead. And this fight was the last opportunity to break through to the finals, so I had to play until the end.
