I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! THIS TUTORIAL WAS SOOO HELPFUL AND PATIENT LIKE IM BEGINNER BEGINNER AND I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING SO WELL I LOVE HOW YOU EXPLAINED EVERYTHING!!! I ADORE HOW IT TURNED OUT IT WAS MY DREAM TOP AND THIS VIDEO HELPED ME CREATE IT!! PLUS YOU HELP US CREATE A PATTERN?!?!?! LIKE THATS AMAZING!! ANYWAY THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO 💕💕💕
This is a Master Class in Sewing Tutorials!! Love all your stuff and it is so lovely to see how your project turned out--looks absolutely stunning and your joy is contagious!
My auntie used to work on the queens clothes she taught me when bathing sew two lines of biggest stitch and pull together so more even gather then stitch in-between the two lines to the other part of garment then pull out completely the line of stitching showing on the garment . It's so neat and even, and you don't have any folded over gathers.
This is my 3rd time using one of your video tutorials and patterns for a DIY project, and really enjoyed all of them ! Just quick question, for the long band length, when you say 1.25;1.5;2 x (4xpannel width) , is the pannel width the size without seam allowance or with ? I’m running short on fabric and I want to see if it’s worth dividing the long band into three pieces or not 😅
I've personally preferred this method shown recently (and find it easy for beginners to be able to adjust if need be too) but maybe I need to try the suggested way again as it's been a few years :) I love that with self drafting it's easy to change anything at each step to better suit our preferences! So you could definitely switch to your method instead for this part.
You have the best sewing channel and always put out tutorials on clothes I actually want to make. Impeccable tutorials and style!!!
Too kind!! Thank you :)

i love this so much!!! thank you!
I have a question, if i wanted the front a little more covered so that my chest doesnt show, how would i do that?
¿Usas el patrón delantero como trasero también?
I wouldn’t attach the sleeve like that. It’s much easier to attach the sleeve flat and the close the side seam and the arm seam all in one go.
I had the same thought when watching it. It’s also a cleaner finish when sewing the sleeve flat +the side seams in one go.
