Maybe I never noticed it before but here I definitely did. The little details the actors do, like how when Tony introduces Brad as his friend; Brad shots him a look. I don't remember if it comes after this scene but then Brad confronts Tony about things. Like how he is always introduced as his "friend".

The ? mark probably meant that she wasn't sure if she should put something this heavy on his shoulders or if he would be willing to do it.

Michael Boyer Alex said to not trust Tony simply because no one in the tapes trust the guy that is blackmailing them. However, Clay is the only one that knows why Tony is doing what he does and pushing these people to do what Hannah wanted. Tony is on the paper because Hannah was deciding who to give the tapes to. Skye was also in there and other names with faces we haven’t seen yet. We will get to know them next season. Tony is fine though. He believes he’s doing the right thing, helping a girl he could’ve saved when he had the chance.

I like how this scene goes. At first, Tony tries to pull the same wise Yoda act with Ms. Baker that he does with Clay, but she shuts him down right off the bat. She completely schools him. It shows that Tony isn't some omnipotent wise man who knows all the answers. He's just like every other teen on this show: A kid way out of his element, thrust into an adult, very serious situation, and he's not sure what to do.

Had he Just scene seen the tapes faster than he did, there’s a chance he would been able to save Hannah.
That and had he immediately turned in the tapes and made the situation public, things might have changed for the better. The fact that Hannah’s game was played in the dark made it so that people suffered more.
But I think that’s the point of the show. You can’t face your issues and your demons in the dark and expect victory. It’s when you drag the fight into the light of day, for all to see, can a solution be found. When more people come into the fight, people reaching out to each other, the demons chances of victory plummet. It’s not easy to seek help or bring other people in, but it’s the best option around.
Tony definitely knows why he's on there.
