Definitely, I would like to see a part two even three of this, adding local storage, adding cloud storage like firebase or mongodb, lastly data synchronization between the two storage used while supporting offline activities If isn't too much to ask, Greetings from Tanzania 🇹🇿
definitely I want to see an upcoming part 2 of this great tut. I was looking forward to see vue working in ionic for a long time. Keep up you great work Maximilian and thanks again for this great video.
I'm almost done with this tutorial and so far I find Vue/Ionic the most fun and powerful cross-platform framework I have tried. I want to become an EXPERT on this!
This guy is the one of which i used most tutorials for programing, such a legend, thanks for your work!

Hi Max. I'm brazilian and I'm so excited to build applications using Ionic again. I was a developer that uses Ionic with AngularJS for so long time. But now i'm redescovering Ionic with Vue and i'm lovin it. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you very much Max. I really love your videos and courses. I had a "blank" app in the emulator. To solve this I've made a little change in capacitor.config.json. I've put (webDir": "dist") instead of (webDir": "public"). By default, a blank ionic app has "public" in this field. I've shown that you have "dist" in the video. Thanks again. Have a nice day. :-)
Would love to learn more about Ionic + Vue from you Max... Hoping to see more and more advanced apps as in your Flutter and react Udemy courses.. Best teacher for me !!!
Max, could you please tell Ionic that their CLI should offer the option of TS or JS type project when creating a new project that we should not go through the conversion for every project we make? I'm sure they listen to you more than us. Secondly, are you planning to offer a full-size paid course that we can buy?
Hi Maximilian, Thank you very much for this video! I highly appreciate the way how you teach. I have learnt Vue by your Vue 3 course, and followed half of your TypeScript course. I tried Ionic+Vue3 by myself before I saw this video. I started with the Ionic Sidemenu app - this includes Composition API and TypeScript. You excluded both from this video. Three wishes on my wishlist (there are more...): 1. Could you please make a video as introduction how to use Types (TypeScript) in VueJS 3? 2. Could you please make an Ionic example with Composition API? 3. Could you please demonstrate a real Development Workflow, including: Debugging, Usage of Environment variables, Development-Test-Production process. Regarding Debugging I tried to follow the official guide, but I don't really get it working (with Composition API and TypeScript...) Thanks a lot! P.S. My personal experience as VueJS/Ionic newbie is that different best practices and coding styles make it difficult to come to speed. But again: I highly appreciate the work of you and e.g. Aaron Saunders
Maximilian you are an amazing teacher ! I've followed all your videos and courses and it's an absolute pleasure to learn with you ! Kudos ! keep up the excellent work , hug from Singapore
Thank you for all your work! Can an existing Nuxt app be transformed into a mobile app with capacitor? (I tried it once but i failed). Could be something interesting.
Also would be great to see you create an app with Vuetify and add Capacitor to it... Maybe create an app with Vuetify that can be used on 2 screens equally well... kinda like 1 codebase/version of the app that will be a regular Web App and then creating a dedicated "Native" app via Capacitor of the same codebase... That would be awesome!
This is really awesome.... I have followed the entire steps in the video. I wish you can show us something like chat app using socket with mobile capabilities. Thank you very much for this awesome tutorial.
Free GOLD. That's what this is. Max is awesome. He doesn't have to do this free on youtube, but as someone who has bought many of his courses, this is just extra above and beyond. I appreciate the time, skill, and energy it takes to produce this stuff, and the paid versions are even better. Thanks Max, you're one of the very best out there consistently.
I'd pay for a full course on this covering more of the Ionic and Capacitor components (e.g., notifications). I see you have one for Angular. If you come up with one for Vue, I'm in!
Thanks bro Maxmilian for this video. I learn vue from your course. And now because of you I start understand and love ionic. I wish you create full course for ionic and vue js on Udemy soon please. Thanks a lot 🙏
Thank you very much for sharing the outstanding work. I would really love to see this extended to show the steps on iOS as well as CRUD with Firebase or Cosmos DB, Push Notifications and more advanced common requirements. I'd be happy to pay for that in Vue.js. Cheers!!!
Fantastic tutorial, thanks. Just so you know, I had to add this to core.css for the back button to be visible in ios ... ion-back-button { --color: var(--ion-color-primary-contrast); }
Max , thank you so much for this course. I learned a lot. I suggest to take this course and add more features and integrate it with Firebase Firestore, Firebase Auth, storage and functions and offer it as a paid course.
I would love to know your thoughts on using Ionic with vue for mobile app but then sharing that same code with a website because the Ionic UI Kit doesn't really work for desktop websites. I don't know if it's easy to use Bootstrap when desktop and Ionic UI for mobile
If someone its getting troubles with the "slot deprecated" warning by eslint on Visual Studio Code (maybe you are using Ionic 5 with VueJS 3), just turn off the Vetur > Validation: Template in Settings.
Hi Max, you are the best teacher in the world in programming.. Please create full udemy course on ionic with vue. i already watch your ionic with angular but i fall in love with vue in your course on vue in udemy.. I have many project using ionic that i want to build to share with other peoples and make their life easier..
1:04 some real world coding going on there! (was so pleased to see this and to see how it was resolved - added some real depth to the tutorial in my view :)
Sir Maximilian, you are one of the BEST I have ever seen . Please let us know if you are planning to have a full course on Vue3/Ionic @ Acdemind ill be the first to sign up.
Wish there was a way to hit LIKE icon 10 times. Just finished going through this tutorial. Now I got to go through this all over again ... this time with hands-on coding.
Hey! I have started developing mobile apps and I would like to ask you a question. Is it possible to launch a vue app that is compatible with apple store and play store? Thank you.
thank you for your tutorials ! it is really helpful !! can i ask you a question? now i use ionic vue and Capacitor and is it possible for me to implement native functionalities like push notification in app browser like i send message in app browser then sending push notification to users in mobile device
Ionic is not bad. But Quasar is by far the more advanced framework/system for Vue. You even get PWA and electron apps with Quasar out of the box. And you can also use Capacitor for native device features on Android/iOS. Quasars features are beyond ionics capabilities.
Quasar's a great project! As you mentioned it pairs nicely with Capacitor to deploy to iOS/Android. Worth noting that Quasar doesn't support Vue 3 yet (sometime in 2021), but Ionic Vue does right now. Learn more: dev.to/ionic/ionic-vue-the-ui-library-for-vue-3-7m5 and follow Max' video above to give it a try!
Great course! Thank you Maximilian! I have one question, when I open the project in Android Studio I am not able to preview the app. It opens all in white window it does nothing. Also I build an apk and installed on the phone and does the same. I am unable to open it.
Really awesome video! Even at 1.25x speed, the video is amazingly well paced and easy to digest. One thing that I find a bit off is the how crammed everything is, maybe its VS code or simply because you record on a laptop, but IMO so much of the screen is filled with stuff ( for example, the file bar, the terminal, the sidebar, at moments we dont need to see those). But its a small thing, guess its just a workflow preference
Damn. People are so entitled and cheapass. On top that hes giving you a quality tutorial for free, in HD, you are going to complain about the windows that are shown on the screen!? What are you gonna complain about next, his accent!? The volume of the microphone? The lack of bg music, or the music is too loud!? Or i dont like the music he chose!? Or you need to pronounce this and that word this way!? I already read another AH criticising Max for pronouncing a word a specific way. Why dont you learn by yourself the way he did, and then you dont have to suffer for things off!?
@@AngelHdzMultimedia I see your point. Sure I could have worded my comment better as to not come off as entitled. But I think its valid feedback for the author. You can make a great tutorial ( and he does 100%, I've been watching his videos for a long time ) but that doesn't mean we as viewers cant give some feedback. Take for example 1:03:38. You can see 14 lines of code. 14. The template tag fits in, plus some scripts. Then take 1:56:42. The template tag is way longer and the script is gone. Maybe its a preference, but so much UI stuff adds to this, which can make the video easier to focus on, give more space to the content he actually talks about, and I've mentioned some of them in my initial comment. Its a small thing what I've said, and it takes 5 seconds to hide some pannesl inside VSCode. I'm not asking to change his accent, nor prepare a fancy script for his videos, I'm simply suggesting for less filled UI.
How different are the Ionic processes between Vue Angular and React? for Example can the knowledge here be transfered to React? Thank you for a Great tutorial!

Maximilian you are such a blessing for tech learners.
You truly have the proffesion of a teacher, you are not just a developer who teaches
Thank you so much, this means a lot to me!
absolutely agree!
Very true.
We are very lucky to have him.
And to be doing it in (what I assume is) one's second language is AMAZING! Thank you so much @Academind
So true. I'm his big fan since 2016

Max is always the top developers mentor of the web. Hey Max , I would like to see more about Ionic & Vue.js . Thanks for this great tutorial !!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I start a new position in a week that uses Ionic and vue. This has been a huge help!

Maximilian, you are an extremely great teacher. Your communication skills and way of teaching are just fantastic.
Thumbs up just for putting this out there for free. I own a few of your courses. Love your style, the accent gets to me sometimes. Thanks max.
Now I feel at ease, because the accent got to me a lot, while taking his mongodb course.
He do really explain things clearly
Thanks to both of you :)

This was excellent Max. I would definitely pay for a larger course if you ever plan on doing one.
Not sure when this was filmed but I would strongly suggest using Volar plugin not Vetur. Of course that's particularly true if you stick to TS.
How to make VSCode stop suggesting Vetur in new workspaces even when having Volar installed and Vetur uninstalled? Thanks
Excellent, very clear in the explanations even for those who do not know English well like me
Thank You Max!!! I have been looking forward to this. It would be great if you made a course as well.
The best video i have ever come across...woww....i think i am confident now on this journey to learn
Yes, part 2 is very necessary. file storage, choosing from gallery and choosing multiple photos, cloud storage, and all other native APIs☺

MEVN Tutorial? From Max?

Hi max, is ionic available in Udemy vue js course?
I'm having an existing Web App made with VueJS and Vuetify. Should i rather try to get it wrapped in a mobile app or rewrite it with Ionic?
Thank you so much man. You're a good teacher.

just what I needed for my final year project 😁
