    Definitely, I would like to see a part two even three of this, adding local storage, adding cloud storage like firebase or mongodb, lastly data synchronization between the two storage used while supporting offline activities
    If isn't too much to ask,

    Hi Max. I'm brazilian and I'm so excited to build applications using Ionic again. I was a developer that uses Ionic with AngularJS for so long time. But now i'm redescovering Ionic with Vue and i'm lovin it. Thank you so much!!!

    Thank you very much Max. I really love your videos and courses.
    I had a "blank" app in the emulator. To solve this I've made a little change in capacitor.config.json. I've put (webDir": "dist") instead of (webDir": "public"). By default, a blank ionic app has "public" in this field. I've shown that you have "dist" in the video.
    Thanks again. Have a nice day. :-)

    Max, could you please tell Ionic that their CLI should offer the option of TS or JS type project when creating a new project that we should not go through the conversion for every project we make?
    I'm sure they listen to you more than us.
    Secondly, are you planning to offer a full-size paid course that we can buy?

    Hi Maximilian, Thank you very much for this video! I highly appreciate the way how you teach. I have learnt Vue by your Vue 3 course, and followed half of your TypeScript course. I tried Ionic+Vue3 by myself before I saw this video. I started with the Ionic Sidemenu app - this includes Composition API and TypeScript. You excluded both from this video.
    Three wishes on my wishlist (there are more...):
    1. Could you please make a video as introduction how to use Types (TypeScript) in VueJS 3?
    2. Could you please make an Ionic example with Composition API?
    3. Could you please demonstrate a real Development Workflow, including: Debugging, Usage of Environment variables, Development-Test-Production process. Regarding Debugging I tried to follow the official guide, but I don't really get it working (with Composition API and TypeScript...)
    Thanks a lot!
    P.S. My personal experience as VueJS/Ionic newbie is that different best practices and coding styles make it difficult to come to speed. But again: I highly appreciate the work of you and e.g. Aaron Saunders

    Can an existing Nuxt app be transformed into a mobile app with capacitor? (I tried it once but i failed). Could be something interesting.

  • @vNYCblade
    @vNYCblade 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Also would be great to see you create an app with Vuetify and add Capacitor to it... Maybe create an app with Vuetify that can be used on 2 screens equally well... kinda like 1 codebase/version of the app that will be a regular Web App and then creating a dedicated "Native" app via Capacitor of the same codebase... That would be awesome!

    Ionic is not bad. But Quasar is by far the more advanced framework/system for Vue. You even get PWA and electron apps with Quasar out of the box. And you can also use Capacitor for native device features on Android/iOS. Quasars features are beyond ionics capabilities.

    • @IonicFramework
      @IonicFramework 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Quasar's a great project! As you mentioned it pairs nicely with Capacitor to deploy to iOS/Android. Worth noting that Quasar doesn't support Vue 3 yet (sometime in 2021), but Ionic Vue does right now. Learn more: dev.to/ionic/ionic-vue-the-ui-library-for-vue-3-7m5 and follow Max' video above to give it a try!

    Really awesome video! Even at 1.25x speed, the video is amazingly well paced and easy to digest. One thing that I find a bit off is the how crammed everything is, maybe its VS code or simply because you record on a laptop, but IMO so much of the screen is filled with stuff ( for example, the file bar, the terminal, the sidebar, at moments we dont need to see those). But its a small thing, guess its just a workflow preference

    • @AngelHdzMultimedia
      @AngelHdzMultimedia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Damn. People are so entitled and cheapass. On top that hes giving you a quality tutorial for free, in HD, you are going to complain about the windows that are shown on the screen!? What are you gonna complain about next, his accent!? The volume of the microphone? The lack of bg music, or the music is too loud!? Or i dont like the music he chose!? Or you need to pronounce this and that word this way!? I already read another AH criticising Max for pronouncing a word a specific way.
      Why dont you learn by yourself the way he did, and then you dont have to suffer for things off!?

    • @danroman5931
      @danroman5931 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AngelHdzMultimedia I see your point. Sure I could have worded my comment better as to not come off as entitled. But I think its valid feedback for the author. You can make a great tutorial ( and he does 100%, I've been watching his videos for a long time ) but that doesn't mean we as viewers cant give some feedback.
      Take for example 1:03:38. You can see 14 lines of code. 14. The template tag fits in, plus some scripts. Then take 1:56:42. The template tag is way longer and the script is gone. Maybe its a preference, but so much UI stuff adds to this, which can make the video easier to focus on, give more space to the content he actually talks about, and I've mentioned some of them in my initial comment. Its a small thing what I've said, and it takes 5 seconds to hide some pannesl inside VSCode. I'm not asking to change his accent, nor prepare a fancy script for his videos, I'm simply suggesting for less filled UI.

    Is this the latest way to use Vue 3? I'm, a bit confused with all the new way of doing things using the 'script setup' method?
