The part where the string pins go into the guitar to hold the strings is called the bridge. The bridge on this guitar is called a dove style bridge and is only found on fancier Gibson or Epiphone guitars. This guitar is an Epiphone Dove and I think is one of the only Gibson or Epiphone acoustics that come with a white finish. The other Gibson that is similar to this is the Hummingbird which has a hummingbird on the pickguard and usually a red sunburst finish. This is a really unique style of guitar and really is a throwback to the days when Gibson was popular with country music artists who wanted a fancy Sunday go ta meeting kind of look to help them stand out on stage.
