How to Calculate and Measure Motor RPM/Speed using Mitsubishi PLC and Photo Sensor Urdu||Hindi

In this video i will show you how to measure RPM/Speed of a motor in PLC using Photo sensor. In this example Photo sensor provides Sink out pulses to PLC which is further used to detect actual Speed of a motor. You can use any photo/Proximity sensor for monitoring RPM of a motor.

Excellent video sir. But i have a problem. we have dc motor of 90kw and its original analog rpm meter faulty and not availible. We are using yaskawa dc motor with techometer and connected in dc drive. now how can we measure rpm of motor. Please help. i didnt find any relevant topic in youtube or internet. Techometer output mein dc voltages deraha hai jo drive se connecr hai.

Try to use photo sensor but u can use proximity if working perfectly

We have to use latched data registers for this operations... If we use general data registers, it will not work...

Sorry u can use any general data register. Latched data register not mandatory...

In fx plc all data registers are latched type. For Q series plc you need to assign special latch type data registers

This is special high speed counter that dedicated for x0 u don't need to use x0 in program while using its dedicated counter..
