when is atmos coming to studio one?
Every time I watch one of these videos for the first time, I learn something mindblowingly new about Studio One. I've been watching these for over a year, and I the hits just keep on coming. Great job, Gregor, and kudos to the dev team for packing the program with so many amazing features.

Doubling and Halving Note Lengths without shifting the Global Tempo setting, that's very useful.
I was doing a bit of that just yesterday.
I was flailing around looking for a way to do it ...
I think I did it in the MIDI editor from a drop-down in the end.

I've gotten into the habit of using Alt + drag on a selected clip to change the length of the events. This gets applied to the whole clip of course so Gregor's keyboard shortcut can be used on selected notes within any clip

I jammed some chords using Generate and FRMS then started experimenting with adjusting the hold times, cos there were rhythmic 'artefacts' that were 'Off Grid'.

A export of the keyboard shortcuts for other Studio One versions would be nice. This would make re-installing much more easy.
You can export your key bindings as preset directly from the keyboard shortcut menu; and import it from there again as well. -GBY
gregor, two questions. 1. is there a shortcut to open and close the menu where you can select the instrument you want to see the ghost notes of? 2. is there a shortcut to activate and deactivate the on and off power buttons on virtual instruments? i found one but it only opens the track list you are talking about in this video but not the one to select ghost notes.

Studio acts a little weird with M1 macs. Whenever I’m loading a plugin,it kind of glitches and also when I touch a knob from that plugin it glitches (pro eq to be exact). Some of my plugin also change to just knobs and buttons instead of the GUI whenever I switch buffer sizes so I have to take them off and reload them to make them work properly again which looses my settings. Also whenever I load the reverb and then send it to a channel and if I want to take the send off it will create a feedback and I would have to close my session and reopening it to stop it from feedback from continuing.
I am having similar issues in my M1
Please tell me how I can set a shortcut to open up to::Configure Audio Devise, so I can go back and forth when recording and play back with plugins engaged changing Block Devise Size

I have important question: Is it possible to remove "Range Tool" button from the upper toolbar? (Studio One 5)
The order in upper toolbar icons doesn`t match with toolbar icons in piano roll.
Upper toolbar - places by default ( 1- arrow, 2- range tool, 3-split , 4- erase, 5-paint etc) all can be assigned to any key
"Piano roll" toolbar - places by default (1- arrow, 2- split, 3- paint , 4- erase, etc) here is messed up, the "range tool" is missing and you can not assign the same shortcut keys. All is assigned keys are messed up and shortcut keys are unavailable. Please check.
This makes shortcuts in toolbar useless, The toolbar shortcuts are very important in general workflow. Your help would be appreciated
Hi Gregor. At 3:49 you set the keyboard shortcut to "F1". Whenever I try to set a shortcut to "F1", The "Help" page opens up and no matter what I do "F1" will not change. It is always "HELP". I contacted Tech Help and he told me to put it in the features request in the forum. I have other function buttons which cannot be changed also.

Good morning. in studio one i have Bias fx and it doesn't open
I have a problem with the presonus on my laptop i need help. I really dont know what happened but anytime i press the space bar while i am working in the daw it opens the browser on the right side of the screen instead of stopping the music...please can anyone help me fix this
This is awesome, but is there a way I can quickly find these commands in my language? So just to switch to english to find them and switch back to my language (german)
Hi Gregor, Lawrence from Technical Support told me to ask you this in the comment section. At the time 3:39, you changed the shortcut from "shift F1" to " F1". Lawrence and I were wondering why you didn't run into problems with this. I can't type in F1 or F2 or a few other function keys into shortcuts. Presonus just won't allow it. Also F1 is permanetely set to Open Help page. How did you get around this? I have Studio One 5 Pro.

thanks for your video! I am on a Mac and the keyboard shortcuts are already assigned so F12 for example is for volume. How do I get around that to assign it to Toggle Optional Views for example?
Hi Susan, you can change the F-button behavior in the keyboard options, found inside of the MacOS System Settings. -GBY

The click in empty space feature should be revised.. The start position should start playing after hitting the space bar not in between playback.. Much like how ableton works..
