Andy is one hell of a guitarist. Played both solos flawlessly and its weird, but in a good way. They're full of soul. Loved this version. I hope this is not the last time, bonehead plays with them, and we'll see some more of him also.
i love this for so many reasons. firstly, it's great to see bonehead and liam playing again like old friends. secondly, this song hasn't been played live for so long. And thirdly, liam's starting to sound alot better. sure he doesn't sound exactly like how he used to, but his voice is cleaner now than it was 5 years ago, and tbh, it would be weird if this 41 year old still sounded like a 20 year old.
They did 2 songs in their own set, this and Columbia. Both version were pretty much spot on (coming from a person that saw Oasis on every tour from 1994 to 2002). Then came back later with The Charlatans and covered My Sweet Lord. The whole night was pretty much amazing. A rocking tribute to Jon Brookes, who is a real loss to the music industry.
Aleksandar Popovski It's never been under question lol especially if you're an Oasis fan. My man wrote Supersonic, Listen Up, Slide Away, Live Forever, Champagne Supernova, Some Might Say, Don't Look Back in Anger etc etc. Yes he ripped-off a couple tunes on the first album, but they were still amazing songs in their own right (I'm referring to Cigs and Alcohol and Cloudburst). Take Shakermaker for example, if you can write a song about adverts and flat out rip-off the Coca-Cola tune, and still have it turn out as an amazing track, then that to me is creativity. At their peak (imo 1994-97) neither were replaceable. At the time Noel had all the tunes and a great voice for backing vocals and songs like DLBiA and D'yer Wanna Be a Spaceman for example, and Liam's voice was just gold. I honestly don't want them to reform, or if they did I wouldn't go out of my way to see them, though I still would if I got the chance because it would be a great day out. Liam's voice had faded by 97 (still great but more nasely and started to have some bad live performances) and was gone by 2000, right now Noel sings Oasis songs better than he does. I mean no disrespect to Liam either, when he was younger he had one of the most beautiful rock voices I've ever heard, but it's just not as good now as it once was. I WOULD however like to see them back on speaking terms purely because it's just sad as fuck when two brothers don't get along.
Aleksandar Popovski Truly two of the most ignorant comments I've seen. First you slag off Noel as if he's expendable like Liam isn't, but then you start questioning Noel's creativity. What in the fuck _are_ you on about? The only reason you're even here now writing this shite is because of Noel and his songs. There wouldn't be Oasis otherwise.
+Alex Horan He was, actually, a guitar player before he joined Oasis, if i'm not mistaken. He learned and started to play the bass, during his very first days in Oasis.
Its a bit of a skank int it? If I wrote 'Live Forever' then my brother (who I hated) sang it at a chairty gig with a former member, then i'd be pi**ed off about it. My music, my lyrics taking all the glory from the enemy!

much better than 2005 version. Liam's voice has almost come back!!!
This is bloody amazing. Liam and Bonehead together. Amazing vocals. What more can you ask for. Will always be one of my favorite songs.
Love his reaction at the final "live forever" 👌
such a freak.
Beautiful guitar solo by Andy, always knew he's one of the best musician.
whos singing the part- 'you n i gonna live forever'...no one......that was a sign to noel...a respect sign from liam..noel's part..
u know what..actually we really miss oasis...can them be tolerate to reunion,
for their fans??hmmm

Everyone with pro guitar skills can replace Noel's role in Oasis, but not a single person can replace Liam..period...
"Everyone with pro guitar skills can replace Noel's role in Oasis" So everyone can write almost the entire Oasis back catalogue then yeah.
I said replacement on a guitar man...not creative, though creativity of noel gallagher has always been under question

Aleksandar Makedonski But no one else in Oasis can write these songs. Period.
This acoustic version takes me back to the same version they did in 94. Liam is back!!! What a voice!!!
I always thought Liams voice had gone but this proves otherwise...
Its a miracle, he actually sang it well
As You Were
Wish live forever that Liam sings now wasn’t just acoustic it would be better if it had the guitar solo like this one does
@@benfeather2959 And now it does 😍😍
This is amazing!
Sting studied singing and worked at it. He was a better singer in his 50s than he was in his 20s. Keep working Liam.
He's 43
Gowg Wussell the guy's talking about sting and about how Liam's voice can be better if he keeps this up.
He’s only 46, how can this be “his 50s”?
This is history !!!!!!
I never knew Andy Bell was such a good guitar player.
+Alex Horan He was, actually, a guitar player before he joined Oasis, if i'm not mistaken. He learned and started to play the bass, during his very first days in Oasis.
Andy Bell was by far the best guitarist in Oasis, the rest acknowledged that many times. He was the guitarist in Ride....
is the voice coming back.. keep it up liam
Interesting line up!!!
Epic!
liam's voice is great here!
Good voice here .. better than 2017 sadly
I love you bonehead
live forever sin noel no es live forever
But no one else in Oasis can write these songs. Period.
I wonder...what did he think about while he was singing that song!??? ...
Bonehead: Dafuq am I not playing barred chords?
Liam's vocals were really bad but they are really good again now
There’s not really much difference, both are really good
Archie Gardiner there really good here though
Noel once said if Bonehead lifted his barre finger off the guitar neck, he'd sack him... well he's already left so he can do what he wants :P
Good to see BH but Andy bell playing proper nice one gem is sum guitarist as well only saying haha enjoyed that !reminiscent there :-)
Just check out the Columbia video. He still dares not play those three chords with open chords :D
Bonehead looks like Andy Parsons here
if oasis did reunite, it should be liam noel guigs bonehead and alan. not the gem and andy oasis
If it was Chris Sharrock though, I wouldn't complain
Daffa Hazza yeah no one does live forever better on drums than him.(Tony McCarroll wrote the drum track, so....)
Don’t get Alan back, get Tony
Liam , Noel , Guigs , Bonehead and Tony thats how it should of always been
I wonder how much they had to beg him to play open chords :DD
no more 'you and i'
probably he was sack'd cos asking if he could play a solo on next album back in 1999 :DD
Lets be honest, his voice isn't great here. Still nice to hear this song being performed live again.
Its a bit of a skank int it? If I wrote 'Live Forever' then my brother (who I hated) sang it at a chairty gig with a former member, then i'd be pi**ed off about it. My music, my lyrics taking all the glory from the enemy!
Archer replaced Bonehead in Oasis, Bonehead replaced Archer in Beady Eye, but temporarily.... XD
no.
