My favorite comment about this said something like - "blow into a trumpet while jumping up and down and count how many of your teeth are missing afterwards". They really are the best in the world !
My take is that if you listen to any one player, she/he misses notes quite often as she dances about. However, when you have 5-10 others playing the same instrument as you and all playing the same notes, then the others cover your goofs, and visa versa. When heard together, it sounds like everyone is always on-pitch. But like everyone else, I am amazed they do what they do. They are a peerless band by any measure.
@@gumbo909 maybe in the sense that they may be more disciplined but apart from that it doesn't matter where it is, their endurance and consistency and talent is amazing!

I cannot beliave! This is about 25min running time. But they did 2 hourrs and a half nonstop playing and dancing performance at Rose parade in US. They have top athlete's physical energy and lung-power. Of course they have a talent for music too.
Standing actually helps with breath support and all that jazz, if you can I’d look up proper technique for singers and apply the same to how you stand and how you breathe. It’s helped me a lot (now you can’t use EVERYTHING but the breath support is what you’re looking for)
Kyoto tachibana is the best marching band in the world and they don't need any props, special effects or floats, just their beautiful little selves and their instruments. I absolutely adore these orange devils!
What an amazing organization. The talent displayed by this band is simply off the charts. Their rehearsals must be brutal! I'd put them up against any band anywhere.
terrific memorizing music. Memorizing the moves while still keeping the style of your marching smooth, keeping the top of your body steady so you dont fluctuate in playing. They are literally dancing and bouncing. So yeah, memorizing music is pretty impressive in this case.
tbh i think this is the best band in the world, i mean listen how they all sound like 1 instrument. no interfere what so ever, they’re dancing st the same time, they even walk a really kong distance for a march band
I've watch every video of this fantastic band that I can find and I "feel" that this 2016 group is the best in sound and showmanship. I know that is saying a lot. There is just something about them that exhibits things that other years don't. That, of course not saying one bit that any other year isn't great! I love them all. these kids must have the lung capacity and stamina of marathon runners. to play instruments while dancing takes real effort, brilliant!

Once you get used to dancing and playing, it’s not that hard lol
I’m amazed at how little I can hear the choreography interfere with the sound of the band. I’d love to watch them do drill rehearsals
Might also be because of the good quality mic the one who took the video had
