Cute Conures! Mine do about the same thing when they go night night.. Seems they are rather chatty when sleepy.. (found out off and on during night too when we had to share a room when ac was giving trouble!!) mine don't like being up after sunset. They will go to bed in their box that's hooked to their cage. If I don't cover soon enough, my girl will fly to me look at me, makes sure I see her, then flies back to cage. . I've figured out this means "give me cover", they are so cute and cuddly at bedtime. Your one is very vocal too! Mine make throaty sounds too, but not quite as mimicking as yours! Congrats on such beautiful birds!
I am kind of an attention whore when it comes to my birds because I stay up really late at night and I sometimes like to pull up the cover to see her because It's a friendly face I guess and she'll just sit there al fluffed up going muuuurf muuurf muuurrf. My heart melts every time

No, those can be dangerous. The breeder recommended that I don't use one of those. They are honestly fine with standing on a perch. In the wild they would be on a branch snuggled together, not in a tent.

+StrangeHappenings Max and Charlie slept like that for the first 6 months. We have a variety of perches in their cage now and they prefer to sleep while standing on the really big cuttle bone perch. The diameter is really thick and I guess that is comfortable for sleeping.
No she is just mimicking noises. When a conure is content they grind their beak and babble. The chirp sound is actually mimicking a human laughing. They mimic hiccups and coughs too.

They can also ingest the strings and or get caught in the fabric and die. Or lose a limb. My conure loved playing with a tea cozy but he got his head stuck in it while dragging it through the cage bars when he was inside as he dragged it around by its little noose hook thing and if I left it with him when I wasn't there he'd be a dead little birdie...he doesn't stick his little head or neck through string loops anymore.
Yes. Google the stories. The loose threads will sometimes catch their toes and they'll go into panic feeling trapped. To escape they'll go into shock and then start chewing off their own toes. If you don't get them to a vet in time after that they will die from profuse bleeding. One had come home to their conure having chewed off two of its ties from being caught and had to rush him to a vet to get them reattached and stop the bleeding. It isn't going to happen 100% of the time, but it's a possibility.
They sleep standing up on one foot. Birds don't sleep in beds, they just nap right on the perch snuggled up against each other. I don't clip their wings so they could fly to their cage at any time if they wanted to sleep there.
The other bird is like "dude can you not just stfu".
