Some of us dont have the financial stability to “be in our femininity”. I’d love to pay to have my chores be done or pay for something that would otherwise have “turned on my masculinity”. Opting to do something you dread doing doesn’t make it masculine or less feminine. It makes you responsible and disciplined.
Hey babe. I get that. But what I’m saying is you can find ways to do these things. So I found a cleaner who does cleaning for $70. I only have her come once a month. (I keep these tidy the rest of the month) And I just don’t eat out as much (fast food). I save that $70 so I can use it towards something that makes my life easier. I also used the example of don’t be afraid to ask for help. This can apply in multiple ways babe. Find ways that others can help you to make your life easier. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak… it’s called community! And that’s powerful. Having people to help you even if it’s in the smallest way. Financial stability has nothing to do with being in your femininity. When I was growing up, we had a rough sometimes, but my grandmother ALWAYS found ways to be in her femininity. People assume the “soft life” is with riches and wealth. When honestly it’s about taking cart of yourself and doing more things that bring you joy! Again… even in the smallest ways.
Forcing yourself to be “strong” is a trauma response. We don’t need to do it all, even God has a day of rest.
