- Stephanie makes romantic advances towards Eric but they are rejected. Kristen asks Eric to look over Clarke's designs but Eric dismisses anyone who has ever worked at Spectra Fashions. Beth cautions Brooke about accompanying Ridge to Switzerland as she might be taken advantage of. Eric tells Beth he misses her as Clarke demands payment from Stephanie for his services.

The cast was Fabulous at that time.

Beth's becoming more frustrated by Brooke's behaviour than Stephanie is at this point.
Brooke is single. Ridge is single. Their moms can butt the heck out.

Yeah she's concerned because right now Brooke's head is up in the clouds and she's just throwing caution to the wind and she's at her mom's afraid that she's going to throw away all her values and like forget about the love and what matters family stuff like that

So after Clarke’s deal with Stephanie, it ends up being KRISTEN who shows his designs to Eric! ….Ridge calls Old Bill the bookseller, and later Young Bill would call Ridge the dressmaker.

Yes, wasn't he. He was so Handsome at The Fundraiser where he meets Brooke and Sees Beth for the first time in over 20 Years. He could have been a successful Movie Actor if circumstances were different.
I am so sick and tired of Eric's victim routine, sometimes I wish he had married Beth, he really deserved someone as boring as that. He behaved like an absolute a** where Stephanie is concerned.
Beth might be boring but her qualities as a wife is 10 times more than stephanie, you have glamour and beauty and your still not happy in your home and marriage... I don't like divorce but if something is not working don't force it

When your with someone and the love is fading away this is what's happening and the worse thing is to try and fix it with sex that doesn't work when their are deep issues inside to resolve........... Life is a learning experience even these crazy soaps you can learn a lesson or two from

Onion again I'm going to compare this soap to Passions but there's a lot of parallels I said before about ivy and Julian's marriage being a business transaction so that they can merge the companies how did your families if you think about it the same thing happen with Eric and Stephanie's family Eric's father or Stephanie's father basically paid him off by giving him the money to start his company if he would marry his daughter so that's very similar to what happened and Passions but then later years you find out that the money was actually given to Stephanie and Eric played off that it was his but it wasn't he lied to her so..
That's a low blow. If I was to try and get something in w my husband and he literally rejecting me....I'd be real mad...probably go ghost on him

Susan Flannery is such a great actress: you can clearly hear Steph's frustration (bc of Eric' previous behaviour) during her whole conversation with Clarke!
An amazingly talented actress whose performances always ring true. My favourite TV actress ever, brilliant and beautiful. Gives me goosebumps. She was the heart and soul of this show. I've tried to watch in recent years but not the same with Susan and Stephanie. ♥️

I always found Stephanie harsh and sometimes a bully, but Susan Flannery is the best thing this show ever had talent wise. She's brilliant ♥️
@@julieet52 That's very true, the show has been very flat without the Dynamics. And they sure need to hire a few people that can act. Kimberlin Brown, who's been back can actually act.
I can't wait till they actually bring more of Spectra into the storyline and Sally shows up I can't wait to see the dynamics between Stephanie and Sally again that was hilarious I remember when I was younger I was a little girl and I'd be sitting in my living room coloring playing with my dolls whatever my mom would have this on and I remember Stephanie being pushed in the pool by Sally and different things so I can't wait to watch it again 🙃🤣☺️🙄

This show was so well written back then, that obviously they made plans that far ahead. Angela's doctor that called Stephanie in the very first episodes is another example.

I feel sorry for Ridge… it must’ve been hard to try and kiss Margo on the neck with those earrings it’s no wonder they didn’t slice his tongue off. She wears absolutely positively the worst earrings throughout the show. Not very attractive especially if you have to try and kiss her neck.

Lol its funny....however these were they style of the 80s and Margo wore the best earings in this show along with Stephanie....It depends on your taste in fashion

She doesn’t care. All she sees is ridge cheated on Caroline because she wasn’t giving him any so Brookeho wants to do the opposite. She is convinced that as long as she screws ridge she will get him and keep him.

Stephanie wanted to get hot and heavy with Eric and he turned her down flat and everybody loves to blame Stephanie by saying she is cold. no Eric is the cold one. He designed a dress for his soon-to-be mistress when is the last time he designed a dress for his wife? Eric was a cheater from the beginning if he's such a wonderful and loving person why did he cheat on Beth when he was with her in college? And Beth doesn't even blame him for that she's not set a word to him about that not one

Clark is a character that could've been spared - not interesting at all, plus annoying.
I love how Brooke was a virgin and her mother really influenced her. This all came from her mother’s values and passed down to Hope.

@@marion90212 yes she and Caroline had that in common. She admired Caroline for her virtues in that sex area. She and Dave were waiting until marriage however that never happened and in the Bridge saga she made ridge wait but only until them were both committed to the relationship.

So, it's not that Stephanie was against Office escapades like she used to critique and shame Brooke for, with Ridge.It's just that Eric' s rejection traumatised her and made her feel unattractive as well as undesirable.
These early episodes are gold and they give us insights into relationship patterns throughout the years.I understand why Stephanie in later years, she was opposed to intimacy with Eric.Most viewers thought she just purposely deprived him, that was not the case.Eric ill-treated her, rejected her and cheated on her, Eric is not the nice man, yalls make him to be.

I'm surprised so many mentions of Christmas these last couple of episodes, if the date is correct on this, I looked on a calendar online, this episode was the day after Thanksgiving, yet they keep saying Christmas is just over a week away, yet no episodes seem to be skipped. Soaps usually don't mention Christmas until it is a week away, this is a month away and it's like it's tomorrow. Odd. So grateful to see these old episodes from before I started watching the show.
The airdates are inaccurate, as in there were occasional pre-emptions. These were shown around christmas time in reality

@@creeper7866 Just that occasionally episodes were not aired 5 times a week due to things like special broadcasts and such. The listed airdates on this channel assume these pre-emptions didn’t happen, thus you have things like Christmas episodes seemingly weeks before the actual Christmas day.
