    This movie was fucking bad ass. Watching this as a kid, I knew something was special about it. One of the best ninja movies of all time

      You guys used the same theme music in everyone of these movies, yet it never felt boring or over done in any way. That is a real accomplishment!

    This movie had such an impact on me when I was a kid. I had it on VHS and watched it so many times. Yes this movie and Ninja III were my favorites. I'm must have been young, maybe 5th grade or so.

      The same. I watched it the first time in 1989 at the age of 3 on VHS. Since then many many times and nowadays on TH-cam. The best Ninja movie ever.

    How much I love the Sho Kosugi films.
    If you look closely, you can see that his films defied all common conventions of the time. An Asian hero who was never seen next to Bruce Lee, a wicked white man who uses ninja art to his advantage, the ruthless violence even in killing children that was almost a taboo at the time. There was even a tough female ninja to admire where women weren't so accepted in action films.
    Even before Jackie Chan, he made his way in Hollywood. Great man

    Revenge of the Ninja and Ninja III WERE ABSOLUTELY The BEST . After that CANNON Gives us American Ninja with Michael Dudikoff. Lucinda DICKEY Was Perfect For Ninja III. Shout Out To Sho/Kane Kosugi !

    One of my all time favorite movies...love everything about it, but could not believe it when I learned just recently that 'the cowboy' from the playground fight, was the one actually behind the evil silver masked ninja for all of the fight scenes, and he was also a stunt double for Sho himself...noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

    • @tomahern8967
      @tomahern8967 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The masked ninja double was played by Eddie Tsu who was a student of Sho Kosugi. Sho Kosugi also played the masked ninja in some of the scenes. The stunts were played by Steven Lambert.

      @@tomahern8967 Thank you, that's very good to know. I kind of hated the idea of 'the cowboy' being the one under the silver masked ninja, (Braden)

      Eddie Tsu was credited with playing the character in the silver mask, but according to Steven Lambert it was actually he himself that was the silver masked ninja.

      According to Sho the masked ninja was played by Eddie and Sho himself. The masked ninja stunts was played by Steve. Eddie Tsu even confirms this.

    This is my favorite movie because of this movie i ended up in the Philippines married with Filipina. I liked so much movie not so much because of that ninja action (although i am big fan of martial arts movies) but because of that stunningly beautiful nature. I always admired beauty of that country in this movie but i didn't knew which country is that,i thought it's maybe somewhere in central America and always my dream was to live in that beautiful country.
    And 2-3 years ago when i was living in the Philippines i was suddenly started to think about this movie and i was thinking why i shouldn't try to find out on Google where this movie was filmed and i was shocked when i find out that was filmed in the Philippines and later i find out at which locations. All my life Philippines was my destiny but i didn't know that and later in the Philippines i also find out that most of my favorite action movies was also filmed in the Philippines and almost all of that movies are made by Cannon company
