I fish with loads of match anglers who use the halkenhunt stuff and they love it and most wear the Diawa coat and bib and brace I bought Musto gortex which is used for sailing which is about the same price and guaranteed for life but your right about Halkenhunt
I got a jacket from them in 1990 and its still going good plus a windstopper jacket best out there.Plus the after sale service is 5 STAR you cant put a price on staying dry and warm

Don't want to tempt fate, but my set is pushing 10 years old now, and NO issues yet!🤞.....and it's truly comfortable stuff to wear!! Wouldn't hesitate to replace it with the same stuff from HH...as you say, it's the best you can get!!👍

I was replying to Frank above, saying it’s overpriced. I don’t think he likes spending money...maybe he’d be better off taking up Darts so he doesn’t need waterproofs ;-)
Scott my pole was £2000 so for £600 for a full set of clothing what keeps you warm and dry thats Go Tex and will last you over 10 years isn't a bad investment. 👍
Mine leaked in crouch when sitting down on bib n brace in heavy rain due to puddling but coat was sound Nothing is water proof with stich seams... Not worth price tag

My Jacket and bib and brace have lasted 30 years though time to order new ones, i was fishing 3/4 times a week when i bought it. You cant get better
