Blues is a player of such high caliber even Dimebag Darrell (RIP) as his contemporary stayed up all night listening to. I hope he keeps writing awesome stuff.
I was lucky enough to go to a few of his clinics, and this was a great example, just raw and ballsy blues. Great player all around; technique, feel (timing), vibrato (one of the most overlooked elements of guitar playing). Thanks for the upload!
Hey Laurie, you wouldn't happen to be able to get some live video of this kid in 89 would you? Forgot how much i loved his tone and phrasing!! What a great talent!
No hurry! if you come across it I'd love to watch it! If not, no biggie. Just on a Saraceno kick right now...you know how that goes ;) Thank you Laurie.
Thank you 1993 (I'm guessing on the year). Hair Pick got a lot of play in the day. Freese on the kit! Obsoletely love the guitar lick in King For A Day. I'm a guitar player trapped in a drummers body.
this is how i remember him at a clinic in ft laud mae music back a while ago w/ the mop top now i'll bet he can't play as well w/ his hair chopped off! LOL
Dude literally has one of the most highly regarded vibrato and phrasing in the history of the instrument, his first album released 30 years ago at age 17. You on the other hand might as well hang it up Mr tone deaf. The only thing he realized was he was tired of casting pearls n before swine and moved on to do mostly soundtrack work, though he's gigged here and there, like with Paul Gilbert.
I saw his clinic at Lentine’s in Akron Ohio probably about 95. Was great then great to find here. Thanks for the upload
thanks for checking it out
Thank you
You're welcome
Such great feel and phrasing
Classy player for sure 😎👍
Stellar.
+R. Christopher Fowler Funny you should say that. I actually found out about him because he's on the Rebel Galaxy soundtrack.

love his tone, and his tunes too

My favourite player of all time!

Wow, nice find!!! old as shit but still kicks ass, always loved Saraceno's playing.

one of the best guitarists ever
Love this guy, wish one day he makes another CD, Fantastic!
I wonder why he never used his pinky.
With hands that big he didn’t need to.

Love it!
Such a monster player belongs in the front of the stage not behind the curtains as were he is been hanging around lately.
nice fucking tasty as hell......,killer tone..... one of my fav guitar players
killer tone, smooth player.
1/2 pixel potato camera?
LOLOLOLOLOL
there used to be another 1995 clinic youtube video where he plays Stinky Kitty. anyone know where to find it?
Anybody know where to find any of his tabs?

Blues rocks lol!
@asena11787 well he had to do something with all of those years in prison right?
Omg! I love the Sideshow Bob reference!
i think ron (bumblefoot) thal is bucket head imean they both do the smae techniques on guitar
@lauriemonk dude, I was saying that.. I got a pic of Buckethead without the mask
dude I got a Buckethead pic without his mask.. ask me that and I will send you the pic. cheers :)
hmm.. i wonder if this guy might be buckethead..thought i would throw that out there..
Jamie Patterson buckethead doesn't have blues' feel
Yeah, I know what you mean. There's nothing worse in rock than hearing a poorly done bend, or out-of-time vibratos....But anyway,Blues just rips it!
this is how i remember him at a clinic in ft laud mae music back a while ago w/ the mop top now i'll bet he can't play as well w/ his hair chopped off! LOL
5-06 BALLS riff))))))))
I think we will laugh in ten years, listening to this wide vibratos... "that was a baroque time, and guitar players had very poor melodic ideas..."
Yeah right I hope you have reevaluated that statement over the years .
