At least there are some mods that remove reloading. I think Classic Doom 3 does it. Switching from fire arms to your flashlight made it more tense than the duct tape mod from BFG Edition
I was expecting Doom 3 weapons like this with Doom 2016/Eternal mods. For example; D3 Super Shotgun can use hook or One-Barrel Shot, or maybe D3 Plasma Rifle with Railgun or Heat Blast. That could be fun 😂
@mickromash Ah, yeah. That'd make more sense, but Hunter's Moon is kind of a shrug from me - cool, but I never got in it because I like mods that add to that Doom style. Hunter's Moon is impressive but it could have just been made in Q3's engine, too.
Quake champion is completely different from quake 3, in the past there were mods but then lost over time. I think you could add Quake 3 style to your mods for doom and doom 2 because in my opinion you're smart. 😛
@@matteldrydge Sure but QCDE has a lot of Quake 3 maps, singleplayer PvP campaign like in Quake 3, a handful of champions from Quake 3 that are not in QC and lastly, one of them (Sarge) has no active or passive ability and his stats are intended to work just like in Quake 3.
ah, DOOM 3. the only DOOM game where you actually have to reload your guns. it was different, but a good horror game none the less.

This is the Doom 3 mod I never knew I needed until now. Good stuff!
Monsters would fit perfect with Dwelling Sin.
Ya que hiciste un vídeo de xim Doom 3 podés hacer uno de xim Star wars
Excellent.
But, the original marine from DOOM III didn't use kicks.
It's a quality of life change. If you don't wanna use it, just don't bind the control to it.

I think this (and every other D3 mod) are focused on porting over y'know, Doom 3 weapons. Doom 2016 is a whole other can of worms.
@matteldrydge agreed
Hi have you ever done Quake 3 arena for Doom mod weapon showcase 🙂
Never heard of that mod. Did you mean Quake Champions Doom Edition?
@@matteldrydgeI guess they mean Hunter's moon mod

I don't understand what you are trying to say.
Too bad, you could do it I see you're very good.
I'm a mapper more than I am a modder.
For some reason it looks like the pistol is held crooked to me.
Sprites aren't quite this mod's strong point, honestly.
not gonna lie if they put the same spread on doom 3 shotgun it would be the most useless weapon in history of WADs
There's another D3 mod that makes the pellets disappear past 128 map units or so. It's always worse than you think.

I don't think there's a Quake 3 mod for Doom. The only one I'm aware of is QCDE, which is inspired by Quake Champions and NOT 3.

Yeah, I'm aware.
