Would be a fantastic anniversary trip in a year or so. We were married over there in 1975. Left when I was expecting our first, went back with a two year old & a five month old. Had our son over there - in March of 1984. The day our household furniture arrived was Charles & Diana’s Wedding Day. Our son is as old as William - tad older, mind you 😀. Would have loved to have gotten the playbill autographed, but wasn’t able to that night. Oh well…. My daughter still remembers her special fifth birthday present, though. So long ago, yet doesn’t feel it…….
Really? Davidson had made himself so unpopular with the crew on this show that they had a whip-round and said to a young actor playing a mugger that they'd give him the lot if he actually hit Davidson. He did. It was David Thewlis.

Now you get hollyoaks and jjay stuff not worth even mentioning!
I new someone who used to know Davidson at the time. Apparently he was like this in real life if not worse. He wasn't very well liked amongst those that knew him.
Can anyone tell me which episode David Thewlis had to throw a punch at him and the crew put him up to actually punch him. Davidson vowed Thewlis will never work again, he went onto work in Hollywood.🤣
Hello! The episode with David Thewlis is 'A Taxing Problem' from Series 3. The scene, as recorded, doesn't see Thewlis actually punch Davidson, but I've read the story to which you refer and wonder how the take before went! Anyway, if you find the episode, you won't have to skim far as the sequence is part of the titles for that episode. Hope this helps.
