Had this happend to a women you wouldn't be laughing. Hannah would do a whole vid about toxic masculinity. Total double standard. I'm gonnna have to bring this up at the next super secret patriarchy meeting.
What she did was absolutely horrible. Selfish, cruel and controlling. She did not love him. You could not do that to anyone you love. You support the dreams of those you love.
No he doesn't because in Canada, all she has to do is sell all her valuables and file for bankruptcy and Tadaaa!!! She doesn't have to pay. Next step: get on welfare since no part of that can be seized by your creditors. She could even get a job and keep collecting welfare as long as her salary is undeclared. As an added bonus, she avoids paying income tax. And the guy gets..... nothing.
It's not about winning or losing. It's about justice being served only in theory but not in practice. In any case, the guy has absolutely no reason laugh even if he DID collect that money because in the end, no amount of money can make up for a lost opportunity of that magnitude. He was set to study under one of the best clarinet masters of the world who only takes two students at any given time. The odds of that happening are about the same as getting hit by lightning right after winning the Powerball. In the supremely demanding world of classical music, two years can make the difference between a brilliant career and no career at all. In all honesty, I think TYT could have treated the subject matter with a little more respect and empathy for the guy... or stay away from the story altogether.
Why are they laughing? I dont mean to sound like that guy, but if it were the same situation with reversed genders, a female clarinetist and an ex boyfriend, their demeanors would be very grim.
This is not funny at all. So sad for this young man,the emotional psychological trauma she made him go thru. She took 2 years of his life. She should have got some jail time. I don't think it would have turned the same if a man had done this to his girlfriend. As someone who also has dreams,I feel very sorry for this man.
I don't understand how they laugh at shit like this. If someone stopped them from getting degrees in journalism or writing, they'd this girl was a monster.
What that girl did was selfish and petty. Making a career in classical music is extremely demanding and totally unforgiving. No amount of money can make up for such a lost opportunity. TYT should stick to US politics.
His life wasn't destroyed. The only problem is that what he wanted to do was on hold for 2 years. I'm pretty sure they'll take him after learning about that stuff because they did accepted him in the first place.
Wow the woman sitting at the far left (literally and figuratively) actually said -- I hate this story, because it paints women in a negative light. And then proceeded to make it funny. This is the problem with identity politics, you think you have the noblest of intentions while your attitude is entirely guided by people's racial, gender, and religious identity. If she'd been the judge, she would have adjudicated differently if it'd been a man vs. a woman.
And it' ain't a Front Page Story Won't even make the papers Somebody breaks a heart in two And it happens much too often Won't ever make the headlines Somebody's broken heart ain't new Except when it happens to you ......Neil Diamond.
If the roles were reversed and a man did this to a woman. With the exact same ending. There is no way in hell they would be laughing about this. It would be "patriarchy""men controlling women" but when a women does this... best they can do is "oh well bitches be crazy".
Yeah kick the asian lady off this story wasn't funny Ana was trying to be professional but it's hard when someone's giggling like an idiot while hearing about a woman ruining this guys life like 🙄 the money he won is probably gonna be used to pay off lawyer fees anyway
I don't understand where you're finding it all humorous. This was a pretty disturbing story, and the consequences stunted one life (his) and ruined another (hers). Call me a hardass, but I didn't find it funny at all. That really sucked.
A person that would go to those lengths as a teenager to manipulate and control another person's life is certainly either a psychopath or a sociopath. Beyond the financial penalty, I hope every person she meets in the future knows the nature of her character so they can be weary
I found it bizzare how Helen Hong kept laughing through the account of the story. She then minimized it by saying that misogynists would use it as an example against all women and that we had not heard the ex-girlfriend's side of the story (because he probably did something to deserve it?). If this same sabotage had been done to a woman by a man, she would not have found it funny at all. I hate the red pill/black pill and incel assholes but she comes across like their female mirror image.
Milesblue Ill say that Helen Hong wasnt completely serious about the "her side of the story" remark, but yes, not everything she said helped the reporting.
I think that the sort of thing that actually makes some men (wrongly) think all "bitches be crazy" is when they see something like a grown woman reacting to a story about a guy being maliciously sabotaged by some evil ex and say "but I want to hear her side". Would you ever say that if the roles were reversed? If it was about sexual assault? You're mad that incel types are going to abuse this story, but you're acting even more like the sorts of people they hold up as their negative examples than the ex girlfriend in this story did. You're trying to victim-blame, and the worst part is that it's your first instinct to do so. THAT'S what fuels those men.
TheFounderUtopia I really don't wanna generalize here, but it seems to me that even after a lot of evidence has been unveiled the progressive left, again don't wanna generalize but they seem to usually still wanna here the other side of the story when it's from a woman.
Helen Hong needs to go. First of all giggling throughout the entire segment, then making such very poor jokes. Yes, it may seem funny to some people, however, to Eric Abramovitz it was most certainly not. Just reprehensible
Ross Collicutt I know, right? Like: „Let’s hear Bill Cosby‘s side of the story!“ Or: „Lets hear out Harvey Weinstein. Maybe those females provoked him to rape and threaten to kill them by the way they dressed!“ I can’t believe TYT is tolerating such an asshole amongst them.
woman in blue shirt seems like one off these that would defend women no matter what in the name of feminism. She had to pull out of this one, but just barely.
Both gals here steaming estrogen for crying out loud ... end of day as the experts say “ don’t raise the bar too high “ kid should have keep his professional life secret til he knows he’s not dating a psycho... belly worshipers club material 👻
Eric Abramovitz got really, really lucky. Most of us never see justice done of any kind, or on any level. I had the SAME thing happen to me, but my ex-wife did far worse and used far more methods of identity theft and massive fraud, and nobody in the court system gave a shit. I had proof, and no one cared. So, Eric got very lucky. It usually doesn't end that way. The court system in America usually sides with the female sociopath, regardless of what kind of case you have against her.
Why are they giggling and laughing? This shit is not funny, this dude literally had his life stolen from. I can only image if the genders were reversed if they'd be laughing then.
David Apeji They laugh during serious stories all the time. Just because she did a terrible thing didn't mean nobody is allowed to ever be lighthearted again. They even made a point to impress how serious and wrong the girl's actions were and their light attitude is inspired by the fact that he won the lawsuit, was vindicated, and can very likely try to apply to the conservatory again.
Absolutely nothing is hilarious about this situation! As for the lady in the blue, you might need to find another occupation! Because the whole "Comedienne thing" isn't working.
Wow... woman in blue on the far left defends this individual responsible for this twisted crime... unbelievable. If she came on in the hopes of being a contributor, she did the opposite. Thumbs way down and unsubscribe... but thanks for bringing this story to light tho.
Matt it’s straight up wrong. Pretty sure at least here in the US that is fraud to impersonate people. Typically jail time, but she was a girl so law doesn’t apply to her in the US.
I don't get what's so funny. I wonder if y'all would be laughing if the roles were reversed and *he* was the one who managed to (almost) ruin her career
Yeah. TYT, as much as they try to come off as fair, do have their own prejudices. Always gotta keep that in mind. I agree with some of their opinions but more often than not I find these folks obnoxious.
I've been watching for years and never seen her before in my life. I don't think they're that prejudiced, sometimes they can be obnoxious and i'll just see the initial report of a story and move on. I really like Secular Talk and Jimmy Dore more than TYT, so often if those 2 cover the story I'll skip the TYT vid of that story.
Percadan Atleast you're getting news from multiple sources. I can't understand how some people can believe they're informed when they "come here for all my news" Whether they're talking about big names like Fox, smaller groups like TYT or even stuff like the DailyShow or John Oliver. One more comment from me on this particular vid though... there's a point nearing the end where they're all talking over eachother and all I could think of was Saturday Night Live's parody of the female filled talk show "The View"
Nothing about this is funny ... and you guys laughing highlights the hypocrisy because if it had been a man who did this to a woman you'd be up in arms calling him a monster. This was very unprofessional of tyt reporting on this ... this man's life was literally destroyed
i think it was supposed to be a joke. seemed to come from a bitter man-hating place to me though. i think it was supposed to be sarcasm directed at guys who defend guys who get caught sexually assaulting a bunch of women.
I'm really surprised at Cenk and Ana reaction to this story. Thought they would have more sympathy for the man's plight. Actually, the entire panel should be ashamed and embarrassed for laughing. Nothing remotely funny about this at all. He lost 2 years of his professional life because some bimbo didn't want to be alone. Completely selfish of her.
Roddaman68 The entire panel consists of loud mouthed feminists, manginas, and a total lack of empathy for men who get f**ked over by vile women - in their twisted world of cultural marxism, men who get f**ked over deserve it because they are part of the evil patriarchy.
They’re laughing? I don’t care about their gender, age or profession this story is cruel. But I don’t get the impression they’re laughing at the gender of the perpetrator, more their profession. Since when is it ok to laugh at the situation? If it had been a football scholarship, or legal or medical internship it would have been stern faces. What happened to this guy was terrible and her actions definitely warranted a harsh legal response. The professional classical world is cut throat, and any advantage you can get is golden. Musicians study their instruments for years before they can even rock up to the door of these institutions, as well as excel at other academic work. It’s physically, mentally and emotionally demanding and they should damn well get the coins. People only resent something is elitist when they feel shame that they haven’t addressed their ignorance in the matter and are too lazy to challenge it. Go to a professional classical concert - hear and feel the difference, realise that each seat taken by a musician has been hard fought and won and kept. Read the programme, ask some questions... Google that shit! Hell, go to an amateur classical concert - support your community and their hard work to produce art for you to enjoy in their ‘spare’ time. There is something about the power and energy you feel at a live concert that looses something when put it through speakers. Try it TYT, you might like it - and I promise you won’t loose any cred, but it’ll hopefully turn you into less of a prick! Excuse my rant... their attitude really touched a nerve!
They didn't, actually. She never bothered to respond or show up in court. That's part of why the judgment against her was so much money. It also basically means she can't appeal.
It's funny because it was just some stupid useless male. Only females can be victims and be taken seriously. On this channel anyways. As far as i'm concerned, her doing this is equal to a guy posting revenge porn, which i've never seen laughed at here.
A Walker, yep. It’s not funny and there’s clearly a double standard regarding victim status and who gets to be the butt of jokes and who gets to be regarded with respect and dignity. This story is extremely interesting because the female was actually held accountable for her despicable behavior which is rare. Hope it continues. They completely did not take the pain and damage of that woman’s victim seriously because the criminal who did it is female and her victim male. If this happened to my son, that female would need to watch her back forever. The way this panel treated this story was petty and cruel. While I like seeing news stories I normally don’t see covered anywhere else, these journalists behave like total asshats at times. 🤦♀️
Women are always wronged have you heard of the me too movement and times up. Women didn't like get a career because they sexually were assaulted. That's like soooooooooo much bigger than not getting into a school
There is NOTHING funny abut this story at all. If the genders were reversed Helen and Ana would be out for blood. I love TYT, but this is a giant swing and a miss.
Ignores all the warnings about security and passwords. Any reason what so ever change it, don't share passwords with other people and if you do that is another reason to change it, don't use simple passwords at minimum add a number and change the number occasionally. He is lucky I am not on the jury I could easily be convinced he did the equivalent of going to work every day with the front door wide open. She also probably could be prosecuted criminally for doing such a thing with another persons email account, it is similar to the Russian hacking oh email, when you gain access without permission and use that against the person you have committed a cyber crime.
If the roles of the boyfriend and girlfriend in this story were reversed, not only would the women on TYT not find it funny, they'd also be outraged that the boyfriend didn't go to jail.
First of all, he got justice. Second, Anna went to bat for the guy, so don't generalize to all of TYT. Third, you're taking this way too seriously, none of them think the GF is right, Helen's obviously just being silly and sarcastic and you're being paranoid, seeing everything through the eyes of anti-feminism.
this wasnt funny at all! between him playing the clarinet or him finding out his ex was crazy. it doesnt matter if she has abandonment issues! she commited fraud and messed up his life. the fact that this helen person wants to hear "her side" is like what? if the sexes were reversed cenk would have some words about this guy. there would be no keekeeing of laughing at all.
I didn’t think this was funny at all...a guy was defrauded out of his dream. The fact that he was a classical musician somehow made this hilarious?? I don’t get it.
Muriel Ross I was sure this guy was going to be a classical musician at some point but what I found “unfunny” is the way TYT reacted to the story, not the young man’s situation. I think a couple of little jokes here and there about it would be understandable but for that “comedian” on the left cackled and went way overboard. I really found her a mouthpiece and the lest funny comedian I’ve ever seen. She took this story way over the top and she was NOT funny at all. When she said she should never marry a comedian because she would have problems with the competition between her and her partner my jaw stopped a little. I don’t think Ms. Hong has any thing to worry about there because she isn’t funny so no competition needed.
I like the Turks for what they address, not always how. I also google the story on another website. Just happy for the end, like I said Don't take it so seriously
I would still laugh though, but it's on the offender's face. The opponent is an ex, and I find their situation funny just imagining the whole exchange during the court trial.
You guys pretty much blew it with presenting this story! For at least half if not more of this story, Helen Hong was insulting and ignorant! I wonder if the sick female who created the damage in the persons life would have shot him or if he committed suicide or something else awful, if you guys would have presented this story just a bit more respectfully. The ex girlfriends actions were gross and disgusting. On another note, mainly men are accused of stalking, physical abuse, domestic abuse, etc, and the numbers I’m sure would prove this to most likely be true, however, there are most definitely miserable, emotionally unstable, sick female individuals who have gone out of their way to hurt ex male partners and to try their best to destroy their lives! This story is a perfect example. I consider myself a YT by definition and a total TYT supporter! Please be a little more respectful in your presentation of stuff like this! 👎🏼👀☮️😊👍🏼
Justice. Hallelujah. And, TYT you have an opportunity to tell your audience why Helen laughed, joked, and somewhat made a mockery of this. Cenk, you contributed here too. By being blithe and jokey, you unintentionally (I hope anyway) diminished the impact of what this means long term in the worlds of accountability and justice. The potential to destroy his career was real. Fact. And beyond her being crazy, she had a nerve. Understatement. Imagine if one of the best musicians in your favorite genre, your preferred actor, the lead athlete on your favorite team worked at McDonald's instead of slaying on the mic, stage and field. That would suck. Right? Thanks for reporting and leading. I expect more from you guys because, over the years, you have shown that you are better than so many in news reporting.
Seriously Helen Hong? Let objective reality speak for itself. As a man, I'll say that no, I'm not, nor will any of my male colleagues look to this as some blanket assignment generalization for an entire gender and I'm embarrassed for you that you'd publicly do so. Great story, I'm happy there was justice in the end, hopefully Helen can see where perhaps she could have chosen her words better in this video. Additionally, I'm sorry if men that she's interacted with have given her the perception that we're all so simplistically minded but I assure her that this is not the case for all of us not even a majority of men I know.
Helen strikes me as someone so monumentally stupid that she always plays devil's advocate, no matter how awful the person she's defending is, always falling back on the tired defense that there are "two sides to every story" (yeah, and sometimes there's an awful monster on one side of that story).
Thank you for making your statement. You confirmed what I said in my first comment: that most men do not agree with her about how they feel about woman. (I hope you don't mind that I used your name to point that out in my first comment which I edited because it was posted hours before yours. Let me know if you want me to remove your name.) More men need to come out and take issue with her remark and general sexist attitude.
You are so right. As the saying goes, "Ever since they invented excuses, nobody is ever wrong." The pity is that most monsters can be characteristically cunning, deceptive and convincing, and too many gullible morons believe them.
Who the hell does that woman in blue think she is? Yeah I saw the tag that says she’s a “comedian” but this is far from a funny story. I think Ana understood but her in blue just sickened me because I can’t help but think she wouldn’t laugh so much if it was a man treating a woman that way. I’m in no way a “manist” or whatever I just think it was really inappropriate since his ex girlfriend did what she could to ruin one of his goals in life. Please don’t have her on again, she ruined this segment with her attitude

The funniest thing about Helen Hong is the fact it says comedian beneath her name lol
B Mac Everyone is complaining about how they laughed but forget that they themselves laugh at horrible jokes all the time Imo it's a messed up story but it's kinda of funny because it's why you don't get with crazy
I know the victim personally; maybe Helen feels that way because the girl is Asian. As for Eric he is really a cool guy! I hate that they are making a joke out of this! Because truly he went into a slight depression that could have been worse; self destruction!
How is this in any way funny? I understand needing some sort of levity during otherwise serious and stressful news cycles, but it makes it look like you are bullies making fun of someone who had their life nearly destroyed by someone who is just another example of the toxicity of our world and era. I chose to follow TYT because it is a progressive news source, but it is this kind of thing that makes me want to unsubscribe and walk away entirely, while others look at TYT as fodder rather than reliable and unbiased.
I am glad they are on his side, but the laughing is uncalled for. I know they are laughing because they are appalled by that girl's behavior, but still not okay. Plus the bitches be crazy comment was uncalled for. I like this channel, but Helen on this irritated me.
Nikko, that's true and should not happen, but it never stops people like Helen denouncing men or masculinity using individual examples of bad behaviour.
nikko marino This is not true at all. Like, seriously, at all. Except of course then that person from a certain group specifically says that "yeah, I killed all thee people because of Islam". Hard to argue with that.
yeah it's like she thinks there's a gender war going on and this story was a battle lost for her side. instead of feeling bad for the guy who was screwed over and wronged, she just laughed at him and then tried to be funny with.......
It's only wacist if she must go because she's Asian. That isn't why she must go. She must go because she's annoying as fuck, keeps interrupting but adding nothing and the least funny "comedian" on the World Wide Web.
Most of us are not laughing. In fact, didn't you hear the part about public sentiment being on the guy's side because we all aware that he was dealing with a controlling sociopath, gender notwithstanding.
I agree. She wouldn't STFU while Ana tried to finish her sentence. Everything after was just as bad. Nothing really inciteful to add other than "bitches be crazy".
If the roles had been reversed and he had sabotaged her career, would everyone on the panel still be laughing their stupid heads off? To ask the question is to answer it.
Had this happend to a women you wouldn't be laughing. Hannah would do a whole vid about toxic masculinity. Total double standard. I'm gonnna have to bring this up at the next super secret patriarchy meeting.
That's not funny! She took two years of his life! What's wrong with you?
Having studied music for 15 years and having given up the profession I can assure you this is not a funny story.
What she did was absolutely horrible. Selfish, cruel and controlling. She did not love him. You could not do that to anyone you love. You support the dreams of those you love.
If a guy had done this to a woman I don’t think any of you would have been giggling.
it doesn't matter if they giggle, justice is served... the guy has 250,000 reasons to laugh too
No he doesn't because in Canada, all she has to do is sell all her valuables and file for bankruptcy and Tadaaa!!! She doesn't have to pay. Next step: get on welfare since no part of that can be seized by your creditors. She could even get a job and keep collecting welfare as long as her salary is undeclared. sell all her valuable and file for bankruptcy and get on welfare.... yeh sure sounds like she won
It's not about winning or losing. It's about justice being served only in theory but not in practice. In all honesty, I think TYT could have treated the subject matter with a little more respect and empathy for the guy... or stay away from the story altogether.
It does matter. Because it sends the message that there is nothing serious going on here, and "no real harm done.' Move along....
What bothers me is how lightly you guys take this. If this was reversed, you wouldn't be joking about this. Nor should you.
Dear TYT. Get rid of that bint on the left. Her lack of respect throughout this video was reprehensible.
TheDeepNorth I agree but this could have happened anywhere
I don't get it either. Nothing in this story sounds remotely funny.
Women like Elen Hong are the problem. This guy's life was almost ruined the only thing on her mind is how this will effect feminism negatively.
They are laughing because the criminal is a woman if he was a dude they will rip him apart
"we have a story about a clarinetist" *hysterical laughter*
me (also a clarinetist): I MUST DEFEND MY PEOPLE
Why are they laughing through most of this! Man or woman this was a terrible for his ex to do.
I love how the lady panelists are laughing their asses off at this poor guys life being destroyed. If it was reversed they wouldn't be laughing.
His life wasn't destroyed. The only problem is that what he wanted to do was on hold for 2 years. I'm pretty sure they'll take him after learning about that stuff because they did accepted him in the first place.
You love it?
Why are you laughing though? If this was a woman you'd be screaming toxic masculinity instead of "fear of abandonment". smh
"Her side of the story" smh. She's part of the problem but I'm glad they're starting to hold women accountable for being reckless.
"When something happens to a guy...it's just considered funny." -Bill Burr
You truly never appreciate how professional Ana and Cenk are until they invite on a horrific panel from time to time.
sooo... Spartan155..... you wouldn't happen to have any details on halo infinite maybe?
That woman laughing all the time was just annoying. Not funny, just very annoying.
There is nothing about a man's life being sabotaged by someone who was disguised as a person they loved, but ended up being so evil
QuantumBraced - she's a stand up comedian. The story is laughable because of the ridiculous nature of the story. I'm glad the guy won his lawsuit.
Why is this funny? A person gets his dream stolen by his someone he trusted.
And it' ain't a Front Page Story
Won't even make the papers
Somebody breaks a heart in two
And it happens much too often
Won't ever make the headlines
Somebody's broken heart ain't new
Except when it happens to you ......Neil Diamond.
The girl on the left must've gotten hurt really bad by some dude to be relishing in this guys misfortune.
If a man did this to a woman, you all would not be laughing. Come on. Equality?
Nicole Conkleton you don't know that they wouldn't.
Nicole Conkleton - They're only laughing because justice was served in the end. Don't know that money could make this better, but....
If the roles were reversed and a man did this to a woman. With the exact same ending. There is no way in hell they would be laughing about this. It would be "patriarchy""men controlling women" but when a women does this... best they can do is "oh well bitches be crazy".

Randi Young I totally agree, their flippant tone made light of a life changing act. I didn't find anything funny in this story.
Randi Young Well said
Please don’t have Helen Hong back
Monique Addn agreed. That bitch be crazy
If a man did this could you imagine the outrage.Yet they laugh. The hypocrisy is crazy
If this was the other way round, the panel would have have obliterated the poor guy
A person that would go to those lengths as a teenager to manipulate and control another person's life is certainly either a psychopath or a sociopath. Beyond the financial penalty, I hope every person she meets in the future knows the nature of her character so they can be weary

Milesblue Ill say that Helen Hong wasnt completely serious about the "her side of the story" remark, but yes, not everything she said helped the reporting.
Milesblue
yes I wish people just listened because we already have enough talking
Why is that snatch laughing? The ex was trying to ruin his life, how is that hilarious. Because he is a clarinet player? Grow up lady.
Jen Logan the man did thing wrong and so did the woman so it's a double edged sword period grow up people
Linda Sandoval oh here too are you sjw
umm, what exactly did the man do wrong??
@linda sandoval ???
I don't see how someone's life being ruined is funny.
This breaks my heart that people find humor in this. She crushed his dreams. I hope he continues to prosper.
Sooooo what's funny about this?? Did I miss something??
I think that the sort of thing that actually makes some men (wrongly) think all "bitches be crazy" is when they see something like a grown woman reacting to a story about a guy being maliciously sabotaged by some evil ex and say "but I want to hear her side". Imagine if the guy had married that girl and later finds out about this. 🤔
I hope she feels remorse with every payment and pays back every cent. What a rotten thing to do to a talented musician.
It is a very serious issue; fraud, identity theft, sabotage, ruining lives etc...
Helen Hong said that they didn't hear the girl's side. If it was a man who did this, I bet she wouldn't care about his side of the story.
The woman's actions and the harm they caused speak for themselves; they have absolutely no defense.
woman in blue shirt seems like one off these that would defend women no matter what in the name of feminism. She had to pull out of this one, but just barely.
Dunaldango she's awful and can't stop talking and laughing over people. Needs to go. And I'm a feminist.
Both gals here steaming estrogen for crying out loud ... end of day as the experts say “ don’t raise the bar too high “ kid should have keep his professional life secret til he knows he’s not dating a psycho... belly worshipers club material 👻
I was thinking the same thing. What a piece of shit.
What is happening at TYT where you think anything about this is funny? Have you all lost your minds?
Eric Abramovitz got really, really lucky. Most of us never see justice done of any kind, or on any level. I had the SAME thing happen to me, but my ex-wife did far worse and used far more methods of identity theft and massive fraud, and nobody in the court system gave a shit. I had proof, and no one cared. So, Eric got very lucky. It usually doesn't end that way. The court system in America usually sides with the female sociopath, regardless of what kind of case you have against her.
I am glad the guy was tenacious enough to go back and still try to get to the school he wanted to learn at.
That Asian woman added nothing to this panel.. nothing worthwhile was said by her in this video. Just trying to be funny?
Why are they giggling and laughing? This shit is not funny, this dude literally had his life stolen from. I can only image if the genders were reversed if they'd be laughing then.
There should be criminal changes against her.
I don't get the laughter. What is funny about this?
David Apeji They laugh during serious stories all the time. Just because she did a terrible thing didn't mean nobody is allowed to ever be lighthearted again. They even made a point to impress how serious and wrong the girl's actions were and their light attitude is inspired by the fact that he won the lawsuit, was vindicated, and can very likely try to apply to the conservatory again.
Nothing about this is funny in the slightest.
Why are they laughing!?!?! This is really stupid.
Does anyone else think this isn't funny? I'm putting myself in his shoes and I would be absolutely furious if my career got sabotaged
I agree with some of their opinions but more often than not I find these folks obnoxious.
to be fair it was mostly the guest host comedian lady laughing, but yea, this story isn't funny at all.
Percadan
See I'm not subscribed... that woman in the left isn't a regular?
I've been watching for years and never seen her before in my life. I don't think they're that prejudiced, sometimes they can be obnoxious and i'll just see the initial report of a story and move on. I really like Secular Talk and Jimmy Dore more than TYT, so often if those 2 cover the story I'll skip the TYT vid of that story.
Percadan
Atleast you're getting news from multiple sources. I can't understand how some people can believe they're informed when they "come here for all my news"
Whether they're talking about big names like Fox, smaller groups like TYT or even stuff like the DailyShow or John Oliver.
QuEsT X. BOXING, NEWS , ENTERTAINMENT snowflake
Mark Wick ha haaa
Helen Hong complains that the story reflects how "bitches be crazy" then proceeds to say things that make herself sound crazy.
Hong adds spice to the show - TYT, please give her a raise and make sure you keep her.
Can this Asian woman stop treating this like a joke
Did this woman really say "we didn't hear her side of the story" wooow😂
Mitchell Durant exactly what we mean by "bitches be crazy"
i think it was supposed to be a joke. seemed to come from a bitter man-hating place to me though. i think it was supposed to be sarcasm directed at guys who defend guys who get caught sexually assaulting a bunch of women.
Why is everyone laughing?! This is seriously not funny!
People teach your daughters to respect men as men should respect them. In fact just teach your kids to respect everyone regardless of gender
If it would have happened to a girl, the women wouldnt be laughing. They would be furious!!
We didn’t hear her side of the story, but the court did.
Most likely her motive where to get back at her boyfriend for ever breaking up for her
They didn't, actually. She never bothered to respond or show up in court. That's part of why the judgment against her was so much money. It also basically means she can't appeal.
This story is about justice. The laughter seemed very much out of place and out of character for you guys.
Watch the story TYT did called Tennis star accused of beating, stalking boyfriend. They lay out their bias about men very bluntly right there.
This woman's actions were truly reprehensible. This is just terrible. I don't know why they found it funny, to be honest.
+kez
They explained why: happy ending.
What is that Chinese woman laughing about. If a woman was wronged, imagine the rage.
ConcordClark
I love the memes that come out of it.
Not funny at all. Terrible for the guy involved and she got what she deserved.
You can bet there wouldnt be as much annoying laughter.
Totally agree, that annoying laugh, that laugh said "dose'nt matter what u say i be defending this crazy bitch"
John Johnson Jr. Exactly!!!
Regardless its totally unprofessional.
Well, this was annoying to watch. This Helen Hong kept interrupting Ana and her comments were stupid. Never have her on the show again!
this wasnt funny at all! between him playing the clarinet or him finding out his ex was crazy. it doesnt matter if she has abandonment issues! she commited fraud and messed up his life. the fact that this helen person wants to hear "her side" is like what? if the sexes were reversed cenk would have some words about this guy. there would be no keekeeing of laughing at all.
I seriously can't believe that Asian chick is laughing and even defending the chick....
There was far to much laughter at this dude's expense. Helen Hong really cast a lame light on this story. How is this funny in anyway?
Why is this so funny. If a guy had done it to a girl there would be outrage. I get sick of the double standards
Without double standards they'd have none at all.
I didn’t think this was funny at all...a guy was defrauded out of his dream. The fact that he was a classical musician somehow made this hilarious?? I don’t get it.
Don't take it so seriously, follow your dream and it will or could be delayed, but he won in the end. Positive
Hong has any thing to worry about there because she isn’t funny so no competition needed.
maybe she was stoned. :D
I like the Turks for what they address, not always how. I also google the story on another website. Just happy for the end, like I said Don't take it so seriously
Why are they laughing at this? Seriously, turn this around and I bet they'd be much more serious if the guy had done this to an ex girlfriend.
Agreed, Ana trying to avoid their names though: Definitely funny
i know, always double standards
I would still laugh though, but it's on the offender's face. The opponent is an ex, and I find their situation funny just imagining the whole exchange during the court trial.
TRUE
Well said. The lack of maturity and sobriety this story deserved, was disappointing, to say the least.
Beautifully said.
There is literally nothing funny about this story. Nothing.
slyashell Thank you! You are absolutely correct!
Why all the laughing? It's not funny. The ex was horrid.
Lisa Burris Right? That irked me too. Shit wasn't funny, that's disgusting what she did.
Helen is too loud, too obnoxious and interrupts too much. She consistently breaks Anna’s flow. Why?
Laurie Cloonan psychopathic NARCCICISM
Them laughing is in poor taste. This is not funny. If someone did something like this to them they would not be laughing.
It really isn't funny. Time is the one single thing you never get back.
B Mac Everyone is complaining about how they laughed but forget that they themselves laugh at horrible jokes all the time
Imo it's a messed up story but it's kinda of funny because it's why you don't get with crazy
I know the victim personally; maybe Helen feels that way because the girl is Asian. As for Eric he is really a cool guy! I hate that they are making a joke out of this! Because truly he went into a slight depression that could have been worse; self destruction!
i hope he manages to achieve his dreams despite what has happened to him :)
I hope Eric achieves his dreams despite all of this!
Helen Hong seems to be enjoying Eric's downfall and finds it funny.
The lady on the left just keep on laughing through out the story. What is wrong with her.
yes, Cenk, please dont invite her back on the panel.
Yea she immediately went to defend the girl, half jokingly but not sarcastically. This type of cringe worthy identity tribalism needs to go.
Feminism is what's wrong with her
How is this in any way funny?
Yep, it's done. The Asian chick must go. The internet has spoken.
It's only wacist if she must go because she's Asian.
That isn't why she must go.
She must go because she's annoying as fuck, keeps interrupting but adding nothing and the least funny "comedian" on the World Wide Web.
I'm sorry, If a dude did this to his ex-gf you guys would be calling him a "predator."
Stop laughing. You wouldn’t do the same if we switched the roles. We’d be calling this person a control freak.
Most of us are not laughing. In fact, didn't you hear the part about public sentiment being on the guy's side because we all aware that he was dealing with a controlling sociopath, gender notwithstanding.
Talking about the presenters.
That woman with glasses is awful.
I agree. She wouldn't STFU while Ana tried to finish her sentence. Everything after was just as bad. Nothing really inciteful to add other than "bitches be crazy".
The whole Young Turds are awfull looking
Giorgaros Panagakis but I'm sure you've watched their videos a thousand times and commented on dozens of them.
Aaron Cain 4
Their behavior is disgusting and unprofessional.
If the roles had been reversed and he had sabotaged her career, would everyone on the panel still be laughing their stupid heads off? To ask the question is to answer it.
David Broughall snowflake
If I'm a snowflake for complaining about their laughter, then there's a damn blizzard happening on this comment page.
