But I love the concept to the reason of his death is that he was being adventurous and wanted to go to outer space, to even set up a private practise on the moon or Mars. As also being Australian, it's a bit unfortunate for the Platypus with it being one of only few egg-laying mammals, but it's also one of the few venomous mammals since it has spurs on the back of their feet that contain venom that they will use in a defence manner. But don't worry the venom isn't lethal or toxic to humans 😊
