definitely one I tried when I got into emulation checking out what Japan got that we didn't.... yeah it was neat. I was always curious about the MSX sequel though, had a bunch of different powerups and some really esoteric stuff like you could only pause so many times to get the ending?! too bad the famicom never got that one.
@@RndStranger I guess I must be thinking of the MSX version then, which lets you choose the difficulty at the outset. Again, it's only a difference in the time available for each course. I think this was also on the European only Konami GB collection for GameBoy Color, so I hope I'm not getting confused there as well.
That was the Skater's Waltz which is used as the music in the game. Sometimes I just feel like breaking format. Though not too often or breaking format isn't really special.

Kojima's best work right there 😅

Was it for Nintendo? I played it on a computer, it came on a floppy disk, it was a white square with a plated circle in the center😮
Was this the version with multiple difficulty levels/loops that simply reduced the time available, or was that the MSX?
There's only the one difficulty at the main menu, but the game does loop after you get around Antarctica.

Why the ending different?

@@RndStranger that's why I was curious, as many of these as I've seen I can't recall the end ever changing. Thanks for letting me know!!
@@RndStrangerI learned that music from a Mickey Mouse cartoon!
