On owner built homes, I wonder if he means you you get 24k back on the lot plus 16k for the house or 24k total . I'm looking at land and I have to pay 45k tax on it . Makes the land alot more expensive.

I am confused, if I buy brand new in B.C. and pay gst.....I do not get anything back if I just buy it for personal use as my only home to live in?

Hello ,You said that the lease on property has to be one year to claim HST rebate.Is it one year from the date of interim occupancy or from the date of final closing?
