Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and Sunnah.

Whenever i have discussion with my non Muslim friends and they are always satisfied with my answer and they always use to say that you have a totally different approach about things that they were curious about Islam and that they never get a satisfied answers from other Muslim friends and that is because of Ghamidi Sahb. I have been peeping through a kind of search window now and then yet no other scholars seem to be justifying and explaining like this and I have to revert to Ghamidi again. What an answer at 51:00. We as a Pakistani nation have become lazy and all we do is find the shortcoming in other where it was more or less our own fault. Our eye is always on the other instead of the self. This is what we have done and unfortunately are still doing. While we protest and make dua for our leaders and the wider political landscape to change, we need to play our own part as well even before that happens. All that happens is not more than some drawing room debates and empty sighs. Lets start from our homes. Lets change our selves and start caring about our families, people who work for me and other people at their homes. Lets not go far but start with this.
IDAT عدت period is basically for:-
1. Grace period for husband and wife to reconcile in case of divorce.
2. To ascertain the pregnancy.
However, the most important aspect which we normally miss is that at the time of breakup after عدت , the presence of TWO MALE witnesses are must. (65:2)

If Deen adresses only 'Death" then who adresses the gape between birth to Death? Is it intellect, social setup, indivisual , wahi, jiblat, or what is invogue in realtime and a particular space.
Deen address death and what happens after death, and afterlife or life after death; and how to be successful in that new life and to be successful in that life we have to pass the test and Deen gives us guidance how to pass the test to be successful in after life; and no one is denying that important part of the Deen that helps us with the test in this life

Reacting to insult of quran has tremendus effect. A lot of people started to know about Islam and Quran. So telling that Muslims should not react is not ok. However violent behavior is not accepted. However violent behavior of some Non Muslim countries are not considered violent.

میرا ایک سوال یہ ہےاستاذ غامدی صاحب سے کہ کیا کسی بھی صورت میں بچوں کی تعلیم اور تربیت کے سلسلے میں خاص طور سے دینی تعلیم اور تربیت کے سلسلے میں سرزنش کے نام پر بچوں کو مارنے پیٹنے کی گنجائش بنتی ہے؟ میں نے بارہا ایسی وڈیوز دیکھی ہیں اور وقعات سنے ہیں جس میں بچوں پر معمولی سزنش نہیں بلکہ وحشیانہ تشدد کرتے دیکھا گیا ہے اور بعض اوقات تو بہت چھوٹے بچوں پر بھی روا رکھا جاتاہے جسے دیکھ کر، سن کر دل کانپ جاتا ہے، میں یہ جاننا چاہتا ہوں کیا نبوی دور میں، صحابہ کے دور میں، یا بعد کے دور اولیا اللہ بزرگان دین، یا اہل علم کے طرز عمل میں کہیں کوئی مثال ملتی ہے؟ یہ ہمارے بر صغیر میں خاص کر پاکستان میں ہمارے مدرسوں میں یہ مولوی حضرات کس کی سنت پر عمل کررہے ہیں؟ براۓ مہربانی اس کا تفصیلی جواب عنایت فرمائیں ، شکریہ

It is hard to understand this logic; that means we shouldn't do anything because we are not aware of the results; I think we should work hard especially in reference to the deen and leave the rest to the Creator because He is the best Judge
Allah never held responsible preachers for the results not even prophets... he is just a teacher.
Rasoolullah SAW also preached 13 years in Makkah but nothing happened in Makkah except a few holy souls accepting his message but only one meeting with the people of Madinah paved the way for the change which was witnesses by the history. Brother it's not a matter of testing or bring any change in a country, for him it is a matter of his duty to teach what he has understood about the religion.He was not willing to leave the country but was forced to by the narrow minded terrorists who killed a few of his colleagues and endangered not only his life but also his neighbours and those who prayed in the mosque with him.
His work has impacted many individual's way of understanding of religion and it's obligations in Pakistan.😊

Majority sect should be legislative to make laws and policies work. Iran Saudi and even in European country majority sect interpretation is accepted. Otherwise civil war.
Is it necessary to follow one sect like hanafia, jafria etc cant we follow the common things in all sects.we all are muslims why to follow one sect only?? Plz do reply ghamidi sir.thx
Deen is based on Quran and sun ah fiq was later on introduced by scholars like 4 imams. hanfi, shaft etc as a method to understand and place the rules, Quranic directives to their right poisition. Muslim states(Bannu umayya etc) used to adopt a same single fiqh to solve the problems and different issues to avoid any big difference in conclusion n ease out the legal process/ issues such as divorce, property by the Qazi/judge etc. It is not necessary to follow a single fiqh provided all 4 FIQHS are based on Quran n sun ah. Any ruling containing violation of Quranic directives or Suunah will invalidate any/a ruling or principle of fiqh.
