I love Indian food. It is very common to have an Indian takeout(or as we say in the uk) takeaway. Korma is very mild and has coconut in it. If you see chicken tikka massala on the menu, it is said that it was invented in the UK.
Indian is my favorite.. but it does take some getting used to..especially the slightly sweet coconut milk used with most dishes. Great job Jess, that was quite a challenge.
I think jess is just waiting to have it her way !! Bless her heart!! But Hannah told her she didn’t have to eat she could just eat something when you all got home!! But what if you were not going home!!
Hi Val Jess Hannah and bad daddy I’m so glad that you guys are trying something different it’s always good to try it well you guys enjoy and I love you guys so much take care.❤❤❤
Great job trying something new! I’ve tried Indian food several times, but just can’t seem to acquire a taste for it. My boys love it, and are careful to steer me away from the spicy items if I go with them.
I'm surprised you haven't had Indian food before ! Lol I love Indian cuisine: so so my kids. We always order butter chicken, chicken korma, samosas, kebabs, channa masala, and mutter paneer (it's a cheese vegetarian dish sounds weird. It it's so good) there's so many dishes and awesome curries and gravies. You dip the samosa in the tamarind sauce, or sometimes they serve a mint sauce to cool it down. I always order the raita on the side, it's the yogurt. Also you can't go wrong with homemade naan bread!!!
I don't know how it is there, but our Indian restaurant's version of mild will still set your mouth on fire! Even when you request it to be as mild as possible. 😳🔥
Great video, I always get the butter chicken combo of butter chicken, rice, naan and coke when I go to the food court at the mall. It's always an electric orange colour and tastes and looks different from the make at home jars so who knows what they put in it. Hannah looks like she got a more natural version. Jess is a good sport trying new things even when upset. I can't imagine what indian flavours would taste like if you weren't really familiar as an adult.
This brings up a good side conversation. In the future would the family just not go again because 1 person didn't like it. I'm not sure there is an option for not including her as she needs supervision? But brings a good discussion as to how you alter your lives too. All good things to learn about. Cheers
Usually the dipping sauces are Chutneys. I love Indian food, but it's not for everyone so I can understand Jess's response. My youngest will only eat the rice plain and Naan when we get Indian food.
Val, I really like Chana Massala, its a chick pea dish.If things are a bit too spicy, you can ask for some yogurt to mix in with your dish to cut the spice!🥰
You can make Butter Chicken at home. At my old Ingle’s in the metro Atlanta area they carried Pagan’s Butter Chicken sauce. Yummmm! Val,you can specify how hot you would like to have it in most places. ****PATAK’S***
Jess those tears break my heart . You are okay with great opinions of it not the Best . Great reply and very polite . You have come so FAR Jess so proud of you
I’m a wuss when it comes to spice, although I do like it oddly enough. I love INDIAN food, one of my faves, but boy oh boy do they like things spicy! Lol
I’m with you Jess… I don’t really like trying new things especially when it comes to food. I like good ole American food. I will eat some Mexican and Italian maybe a little Chinese but that’s as far as I’ll venture out. Was that your sons voice we were hearing? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him before. Is he camera shy? 😎 Glad y’all had some nice family time! 💜💜💜
Jessica tried Indian food and did not like it and she's entitled to that opinion and I have one dish i get when i get Indian and its tandoori chicken and it has flavor but it's basically roasted chicken that has a red coloring due to the spices it's not spicey hot and I get it with rice and it's fairly simple I don't really like Indian food but I have found a way to go with my mom and get something that taste good to me and I believe Jessica did a good job considering the sitchuation and she was neutral with her attitude and she replied when asked about her food I'm proud of her for trying it and the deal is she didn't like it and is now moving on
Poor Jess said but I’m afraid of it!! Girl me too!! I don’t like anything with strong flavors I seriously eat the same exact things as Jess all the time my favorite thing is chicken fingers and fries and yes I’m 40yrs old!!!😂 Love You guys 😘🥰
I feel like that used to be a Pizza Hut building 😂 But updated and restyled! Good for you guys trying something different. Sounds like Good Daddy and his two younger kids should go back and Val and the oldest kiddo could go to an old favorite! Thanks for sharing!
I'm with Jess. I don't like Indian food either. I'm not a fan of warm spices like curry and tumeric. I did find out I like naan though from visiting a restaurant.
Jess so proud of you trying something different. I've never had Indian food and I can't eat a lot of spicy food because I have acid reflux. The fried rice looked really good. Not to sure about the pudding. Garlic bread that is a winner for sure.
I'm proud of Jessica I give her an A+ for trying it and Jessica likes certain foods and this is one we can cross off her list and there are still plenty of different kinds of food for her to try thanks for trying Bessie the goodones are Here supporting in all of your efforts you tried 😊 you dang know it Bessie
"Its not really the right place, for one thing." I love Jessica...she tells ya how she feels. And she really was a good sport about the new flavors. However, with no chocolste cake, I'm just not sure this restaurant can be redeemed in her opinion.
Jessica does not like Indian food, you Jessica me either. She was not happy about the whole experience. Poor girl. Val and Bad daddy glad to see y'all with all your kids. Family time 😄
Poor Jess, what a good sport - looked like she cried calmly the entire dinner. She did really well considering she didn't like much about the experience. Which is fair, we don't always get to only do what we want. Butter chicken is my favourite, I get it not spicy. Please try something with paneer cheese in it next time, it's sooo good.

Jess looks like ur pulling out her fingernails!!! Kinda made me chuckle.
😄
I love a curry... I have a madras ( very hot) .. I make my own.. because I don't eat Halal meat.. glad you enjoyed the meal 😊
Yum!! Indian is my favorite cuisine! My favorite dish is palak paneer :)
Tandoori chicken is good. It is chicken baked In a clay oven basted with a yogurt sauce.
I'm literally cooking Indian food as I type! I LOVE Indian food, especially Southern India Street food!!!
I'm surprised you haven't had Indian food before ! Lol

Hi! We would go again when someone was with Jessica, like Marlow or Nonnie and Grandad.
Usually the dipping sauces are Chutneys. I love Indian food, but it's not for everyone so I can understand Jess's response. My youngest will only eat the rice plain and Naan when we get Indian food.

Did Hannah do her makeup differently???
That was in an old Pizza Hut wasn't it? LOL
Yes! 😃
@@baddaddy2826 Haha! Yes, I'm "that" old. Ours is a steak house now. LOL
Hannah, I love Butter Chicken too..sorry that Jessica didn’t enjoy it.
I don’t like Indian food either, and I’m not a picky eater. Just not my favorite flavor profile! And , hey, a repurposed Pizza Hut!
If you go back, try Sag Paneer. It's spinach and Indian farmers cheese. It delicious!
India food is different because of all the different spices. I give Jessica a high five for trying!!
You can make Butter Chicken at home. At my old Ingle’s in the metro Atlanta area they carried Pagan’s Butter Chicken sauce. Yummmm! Val,you can specify how hot you would like to have it in most places. ****PATAK’S***
At least Jess gave it a try! Indian cuisine is not for everyone 🙂
Try Bhindi Masala, an okra dish. My favorite, Jess might like it too! Proud of her for trying something new .
Love all of your videos of quality family time!
Thank you!
The "apple" sauce is most likely Tamarind. I recommend trying lacha paratha bread and chicken tikka masala in the future.
I'm with Jess... I wasn't cray about Indian food. She did get further along than I did...I only ate the egg that was on top of my fried rice!
Jess those tears break my heart . You are okay with great opinions of it not the Best . Great reply and very polite . You have come so FAR Jess so proud of you
We all have different taste and that’s what makes the world go round but Jess gave it a try and that’s what matters!! Great job!
Thanks for sharing. Never had Indian food so far. I’m so proud of you Jess for trying something new. Didn’t know Madison was visiting… Enjoy! 💙
Madison & Sara actually live there now. Sara posted on her IG page that they moved to Chattanooga back in Dec
@@janemadison3181 Thank u 😊
Jess did great trying new food. I could tell she didn’t like it but was a trooper.
Love Indian food! Awesome job Jess on trying new food!
Indian Cuisine in a lot of cases is an acquired taste I think. Especially spice wise. Glad Jess at least made the effort.
She liked garlic Naan and she did eat some of her food despite being nervous about a new restaurant
So proud of you trying a new cui😢, Ms. Jess. ☺️❤️
Good video. Continue on your road on getting the silver play button
Jess just cracks me up! It's just a hard no for her! End of story!!!! Glad the rest of you enjoyed it while she was so distracted! ❤️🌞
I’m a wuss when it comes to spice, although I do like it oddly enough. I love INDIAN food, one of my faves, but boy oh boy do they like things spicy! Lol
I love that you introduce different cultures and flavors in your what's the deal videos. And a shout-out to Madison!!

I'm proud of Jessica trying the food outside the box of what she would eat
Jess looks like she started enjoying it sure looked so good
I don't like spicy foods either Jess. The strongest thing I eat with spicy stuff is a taco I make 😉
Jess seems so unhappy. I noticed that in the last several videos. I hope she’s ok.
Val I love you, you were just searching for the words to say in a nice way that “I hated it!”😂🥰🥰🥰🥰
😄
So very proud that Jess tried something new
Jessica, I'm proud of you for trying different things! You are a good role model for me 😊
I would have gotten the butter chicken too!
I’m proud of her for eating something different! Looks delicious to me

I’m with Jess on this one. I hate Indian food. Too spicy for me.
We should all be so lucky to have such a loyal and devoted friend as Jessica. 💖
Yeahhh !!!!!😍👌❤️❤️❤️❤️

Her sister is very beautiful. Her blue eyes tell her I said hello.
Way to try now new food, Good Ones. You will find something that you should enjoy. I'm not surprised one bit that Jess wasn't a fan.
Try Tikka Massala
Chicken stripes fries pop salad extra croutons cheese or mozza sticks honey dill sauce sweet try it love it
I feel like that used to be a Pizza Hut building 😂 But updated and restyled! Good for you guys trying something different. Sounds like Good Daddy and his two younger kids should go back and Val and the oldest kiddo could go to an old favorite! Thanks for sharing!
It was formerly a Pizza Hut 😂
Dessert could have been a Carrot Soufflé. Doesn’t taste at all like carrots and is delicious.
I love the carrot pudding
I'm with Jess. I don't like Indian food either. I'm not a fan of warm spices like curry and tumeric.
I did find out I like naan though from visiting a restaurant.

I ❤ Indian food!
It looks like an old Pizza Hut building !!!
Jess said take her where they have tenders tater tots and chocolate cake 🤣
😂 yes
Jess you did amazing honey! Indian is one of my favourite cuisines. Love scooping up some rice and the meat curry sauce onto my naan bread!
Who else knew that big No was coming??? God bless you all! I almost fell apart seeing those tears, but we all have those days 😘
I ❤ chinese food 💕

♥️♥️♥️♥️
Looks like a old pizza hut place lol
Somthing about Hannah looks different
Jessica is punctual
Yes, she is! 😃

I'm with Jess I don't think I would like it either!
You guys are so brave....I am not a fan of Indian food
😂
She just wants her chicken fingers or friend shrimp and tator tots! LOL Can't blame her! Good stuff!
Where's the chocolate cake?!
@@tammyberry6929 it’s Indian food there is no chocolate cake.

Butter chicken is my favourite, I get it not spicy. Please try something with paneer cheese in it next time, it's sooo good.
Has she lost weight ?
I don't know what's different but I definitely haven't lost weight LOL
