So true. I feel as though Bakugo could get past Shigaraki's durability, at the very least. Bakugo is probably just really doubting himself at the first point of failure. Shigaraki's regeneration and speed are insane buffs. Though it's a tough call, I have faith in him Almight trained him well. He'll probably get a good hit in once Deku pulls up. I can imagine it now "Where you been at, you damn nerd!" 😂
I suppose the implication of how he got Rewind was through one of the quirk bullets Overhaul made. They were made with Eri's DNA, so between All For One (the quirk) and the Doctor's abilities with gene splicing, he was probably able to manufacture a copy of Rewind to take.
Either that, or they were able to change the affects of the bullet, because as far as we know, the rewind quirk doesn’t affect the user (before training, Eri was letting it release wildly, so you’d think it would be rewinding her as well), unless the potential “copy” they made IS able to affect the user .
@@scottvgamer1163 That's true. Maybe it was more of the Doctor's work than AFO's, and they basically just sucked the pure "Rewind" out of the bullet. The bullets were tailored to attack the quirk factor, but maybe it's been altered to just use raw Rewind on the affected.
@@scottvgamer1163 now, that makes me think that did One For All tell the doctor to genetically splice Eri's blood from capsule? Or did he take Eri's quirk from her blood in the capsule? Or he have a quirk where he can pick the quirk in Eri's blood in the capsule.
We learned last season that the doctor has been making copies of quirks for a while, and keeping a stockpile (the jars in his lair) for AFO, Shigaraki, nomus, and whatnot. AFO also said that he'd given the original quirks (including his own) to Shigaraki, and kept copies for himself. The implication is that the doctor managed to replicate Rewind from one of Chisaki's bullets, and give it to AFO (though Eri also spent quite some time in a hospital, so the doctor might have also used some contacts there to get her blood directly from the source).
Endeavor balled out. He was breathing fire. The man shot fire out of his eyes. Eat your heart out Superman. Endeavor lost an arm and was still able to control his flames to become a condensed, makeshift hurricane of flame in the shape of his arm. That’s fucking metal. He was channeling pure mad lad energy that Deku and All Might would be proud. He was a blazing inferno of living fire that was hellbent on just incinerating All For One. And he would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for that pesky Rewind quirk. All For One, you sneaky devil. The juxtaposition between Endeavor and Bakugo recognizing their weakness was a nice touch. They even both got their right arms messed up. Nice parallel. We have Endeavor being driven by his own sense of weakness in an effort to overcome the death of his father. In his mind, Enji’s father died because he wasn’t strong enough to save that little girl and Enji curses that weakness everyday. It’s the source of all of his flaws and awes. It’s his origin. Now he understands even more about his own weakness in that he destroyed his family in his attempt to become superhuman like All Might. He realizes that he will never be as pure of heart as All Might or Deku and will never attain the power of One For All. However, he will keep cursing his weakness and never let himself off the hook for his failures. Great choice to have him stop making his flame beard. He only put that up as a constant show of strength to cover up his weakness. Now he’s done with needing to be seen as the strongest. He can just let his weakness show the man he really is. Brilliant character development. And Bakugo, to a lesser extent, thought back to the disparity between him and Deku. That misunderstanding that caused Bakugo’s inferiority complex to flare up and he took it out on Deku. He saw himself as the main character with everyone else as extras, but now he sees that everyone has their place from Monoma and Aizawa to Momo to Kaminari. This isn’t just the Bakugo show and that counters nicely with All For One’s treatment of “side characters” in reference to Tokoyami and Jiro. Bakugo was raised thinking he was special and that the world was owed to him. His journey at UA has gotten him out of that mindset and he can now appreciate the value of “side characters” instead of pushing them down. And he’s unlocked a new move with those shoulder guns: Murica! Also Tokoyami wrapping Jiro’s jacket around his arm and using that darkness for a Ragnarok level punch was insanely cool. Tokoyami is definitely one of the characters who has leveled up the most and has one of the highest ceilings. To go from next to useless in light to figuring out a way to use maximum power in a localized part of his body reminds me of Deku using 100% OFA in his fingers.

So about the copied quirks- its not something all for one can do, its something that evil doctor does! Thats how shigaraki got all for one in the first place. He was given the original all for one, and through whatever experiments the doctor did, all for one got a copy of his own quirk.
And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done. But as a person, he’s been running from his responsibility and past for a ridiculously long time, and he’s no different here. He’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and go out of his way to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to run. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society. Almost poetic.

12:45 I guess he wait to the last moment cause he is not sure how much this is gonna rewind him. Remember that Eri touch his father when she was a baby and literally rewind him out of existence? Probably AFO said, "just in case"
This episode was nothing short of outstanding and they gave me all the hype from these manga chapters all over again as I was just BLOWN AWAY by the jam packed demonstrations. Jiro has been given the Van Gogh treatment with AFO and she STILL stands up. I guess when you’re staring down the devil and only lose an ear, you can count your blessings. And she unleashes her sound blasts. I gave her quirk a REALLY high grade and she took no time in demonstrating it. Not that it means much to AFO…until it suddenly does. I remember being VERY stuck on what exactly happened to AFO in this fight when he got overwhelmed by Jiro. I thought the SaS vestige attack spread to AFO and results would inevitably impact both AFO and AFS. But what we have here is a long time coming reveal. AFO’s recoil. Like OFA, the recoil for such an immense quirk is equally as immense. The quirk rebellion. Having so many quirks and not full command of them can lead to them holding you back and using your body properly. Whether it’s because of copied quirks, the fact he’s nearly 200 years old and can’t use all the quirks he possesses due to his injuries, or Jiro just potentially hitting a sweet spot of overwhelming his INCREDIBLY boosted new senses that compensate his loss of his natural senses, there’s a LOT to consider. Then I found he had been having dreams of vestiges raging at him until he parted with the quirk of said vestige for a long time. He has been stalling out this recoil for likely decades by now. Add in all his limitations from his injuries and he simply can’t maintain perfect control. The rebellion leads to total body dysfunction. Just as OFA’s is expunge body matter at any unstable level these have to easily be the worst recoils in the entire show to match them both being unstoppable. AFO loses his mask in him not moving as he needs to courtesy of precision strikes from Hawks, Tokoyami, and Jiro just doing what they can to overwhelm him. The image of him moving to devour a vestige was HORRIFYING. I wondered if that would take that quirk off the board for him or it was him just hyper focusing on using the one quirk to keep up the attack and putting his mask back together. But it’s not something Hawks, OR the kids can handle…but Endeavor IS ready for this. Back in the ring, and he loses an arm. Showing the power of AFO compared to the high ends he’s struggled against its now purely fight or flight. This isn’t the indestructible AFS body with All-Might steroids. But AFO IS on par with AFS so long as he is using quirks and AFS isn’t. Endeavor is ready to destroy him and recalls how this all began. How he BECAME this power hungry hero. His father acted as a hero to save someone. And the effort killed both him AND the person he tried to save right before Enji’s eyes. Showing he lacked the power to perform what he needed to, and Endeavor vowing to never repeat the mistake. That…is a heck of a reason. And for it to turn into Endeavor vowing to spend the rest of his days hating himself but launching forward, accepting his own weakness, and making what is one of the CRAZIEST showdowns in this franchise. Once Endeavor’s arm is off, his mask is gone. It’s not even him as a hero for this. It’s JUST the singular thought of saving those that have his back, and the singular thought to just NUKE this abomination of a human being. And we are treated to Endeavor’s freaking coolest moves as AFO struggles in vain to keep him back. (With the same quirk Nine used in the 2nd movie. That shield is quite busted.) He REMAKES HIS ARM out of fire, he’s struggling to stop his overheating so much the air he exhales is essentially boiled steam…when it’s not just straight dragon breath, and he just GOES WILD. AFO can’t even SEE right now and he knows the exact presence of what is before him. Ironically this wild primal behavior is the LAST THING AFO SAW. As in this is how ALL-MIGHT WAS IN THE LAST MOMENTS OF THEIR PRIME FIGHT. The power isn’t the same but the willpower IS. Endeavor just comet slams AFO to the ground with EVERY HERO AND VILLAIN RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES TO NOT GET KILLED BY THIS. And he just DRAGS AFO ACROSS THE COUNTRYSIDE LEAVING A GIGANTIC WALL OF FIRE BEHIND HIM. It’s gotta be 50 feet tall! AFO goes to steal Hellflame from Endeavor but gets his hand FRIED INTO NOTHING BY ENDEAVOR USING LASER BEAM HEAT VISION. That’s A SUPERMAN MOVE RIGHT THERE. And RIGHT after he acknowledges he’s not a superhero he just shoots up into the sky to end AFO once and for all engulfing him in a star being a beacon to everyone at the scene. But it does lead to AFO’s single most horrifying weapon. HOW THIS THING SURVIVED A FIRE AFO DIDN’T just did NOT compute until I realized he DID have time when hiding behind the Nine shield once his mask fell off a 2nd time. But we saw in the 1st war Shigaraki had a surplus of quirk deleters produced by Garaki. Of course once he realized what kind of quirk this was, he reverse engineered it. If it can effect nothing in your body BUT the quirk, can it effect EVERY part of your body WITHOUT effecting the quirk. And AFO regrows his ear, and looks at Endeavor dead in the eye. After all, he just injected a rewind dose. The only power I consider that truly rivals OFA and AFO. We are going to have 2 prime AFO’s at this rate, and Deku STILL shows no sign of the 60x prime even NOW. But then we move onto AFS vs the heroes in the sky. AFS talks about ruling the world and how they are actually looking at the power that can do it. And I DO love how AFO makes his cartoonishly evil goals seem real when he demonstrates he CAN do it. We’ve seen the presence many times. Him breaking out of prison, him in Kamino, Shigaraki demonstrating decay…he thinks he can do it again. Except this time the heroes AND us should be able to blot it out. And THIS is where Bakugo makes one of his finest moments. I’ve been critical of his sacrifice, his apology and how he acts towards others. But today, is where I know I can start to put that away. People aren’t just there to compete with. He’s working past his previous issues and doesn’t view those around him as extras. This is to Best Jeanist’s DELIGHT as this is what he was trying to teach him in season 2. And THIS time he says his hero name genuinely and not in his way of convincing him this name DOES NOT WORK. Bakugo has been asking too much of himself and been demanding others into a higher standard not even HE can stand on. But he’s here to just do EVERYTHING he can. This time the obstacle is something more than preventing his or All-Might’s victory. THIS is the conclusion Bakugo needed to come to and I now know I CAN trust him to not be a bully. I couldn’t up til now as he always managed to paint it differently or rolled it back too fast. He was afraid of this conclusion and now he FINALLY erupts past it and gets to demonstrate not that he’s the best of the best. But the best HE IS. And I know this conclusion is truly treated properly because it means so much to those around him…when most of the time it’s a dead giveaway they don’t know if they want to trust him and even if they want to STOP HIM. (Normally in interactions between Deku and Bakugo.) There’s NONE of that. Kaminari and Kirishima have gotten this side of Bakugo a bit more in full compared to the rest of the cast. The business course prepares to historically document this fight because honestly the people NOT seeing the efforts of the heroes in most situations is EXACTLY why the people don’t know if they can trust their results. Now it’s no excuse. Suppressed history has blindsided everyone with AFO’s dark era and All-Might hiding much of OFA’s history from Deku until the quirk literally turned around and went to Deku on their own to inform him. Sadly as amazing as this is to see Bakugo just go CRAZY with all the support that can be provided him by everyone around him…this is still AFS. The guy is on par with Season 1 All-Might JUST the regular main body. And he leaves little more than a small burn on him. DEFINITELY an upgrade from his 1st war moves but not enough. Bakugo’s arm is broken. And AFS preps to just make an example out of Bakugo and nothing more. After all…Deku still hasn’t made it to this fight yet.
Endeavor is a very conflicted character. His life can be basically summed up as "Good, but not good enough". He was number 2, without All Might he would be the greatest Hero, but he was not good enough, thus he destroyed himself to reach that. Same with his family, at the start it was a good family if Toya didn't have that condition. Rei and him might be a arranged marriage but they both were happy before it all got destroyed. If you say a truly Redeemable character, Enji is by far the best written. He isn't a evil pos with no remorse, he litreally puts his life in danger for innocents, but his sins aren't so easy to forgive. Unlike the league who are full of murderers justifying murder because "Society" which is quite litreally most terrorists ever.
No chill episode, 😂 muahahahha. It will become more intense tho. Might be emotional heartbreaking 🥶. ( You guys anime watcher need to experience THAT !!!)
he waited til the end so he would be fully refreshed, and the heros would be drained by the fight. They put EVERYTHING into the fight with all for one, only for him to just reset everything with the quirk rewind. thats what i think
So ex. In wrestling if you use your finisher and nobodies ever kicked out of said finisher right. Meaning when it's used it's over, you've won. But what happens, when someone finally kicks out of it? That was the end all be all? What do you do then? That's basically what AFO did when he used rewind. Endeavor used his strongest move, for it to just be like yeah i'm back to full no damage.
DUDE..!!! endeavor punching afo with a (severed arm ) fire punch!!🔥 bakugo with those cannons power ups..!!( btw he looks epic ! 😁👍) This episode is building up more and more epic..!!
It’s really sad cause at the end of the day what endeavour wanted wasn’t wrong, wanting to surpass someone isn’t a wrong ideal. And passing that dream he failed to reach to Tohya wasn’t wrong either especially since Tohya wanted to. Just at one point or another he just took the wrong path. Stop looking at Tohya and all his anger greedy and envy came out in the worst way possible and burned down everything. Now all he can do is to move is to move foward and burn down everything that stop the next generations
He rewinded himself at that moment because he wanted to use that as a last resort because if he did used it then he would have probably rewinded himself to his death and wasent sure how much it would rewind
Okay but his wording here scares me cause like. "Im done with this body" IS HE REWINDING TO BEFORE HE GOT FUCKED UP FIGHTING ALL MIGHT??? How far back??😭 Also Endeavor's arc i truly do love. I understand why people don't like him, but hes truly doing his atonement properly (which very, very few people ever accomplish).
just going to point out that I don't think the eraser bullets have an off so might of just slowly de-age to death with how old he is. at least that's what would make since from taking the damaged self-destruct version in the bullet maybe?
Beating your wife and kids for 40 years and breeding them kids like pokemon with perfect IV isn't something you can redeem or atone properly. I disagree that you think people hate him. Its only few people cuz most of the fanbase is endeavour tards.
@@matthewhickson21eraser bullets do have an off, that's why mirio only got his quirk erased. I think they just used Eris DNA that was in it to make something for AFO as a last ditch effort in case something like this happened

Bro wrote a thesis 💀
@@sadsnipermarinaIkr? Jesus 😂
Tokoyami and Hawks are such an underrated team - I want to see more of them! :)
Going by the damage all might received during their first battle it only makes sense for endeavor to receive some serious damage.
so glad to see someone else get as emotional as i do watching this show lmao
I hope for a chill episode next week, after all this hype and stress the last ones gave us. 😭
We are nearing peak MHA so i hope not, next week is gonna be insane because whats gonna happen😁. I am exited to see how bones studio does it
It’s only going to get worse from here
No chill episode, 😂 muahahahha. It will become more intense tho. Might be emotional heartbreaking 🥶. ( You guys anime watcher need to experience THAT !!!)
@@migueljuan-medina4436 righttttt, hopefully their will nail it. Well prepared myself to be tortured again 😢
Next episodes are everything, but not chill
he waited til the end so he would be fully refreshed, and the heros would be drained by the fight.
You teaching werent wrong w tokoyamis name! Tsukuyomi is his hero name! Its kinda confusing cause its so similar
Endeavor knows he can’t escape the past so he faces it head on! The True GOAT
DUDE..!!! endeavor punching afo with a (severed arm ) fire punch!!🔥 bakugo with those cannons power ups..!!( btw he looks epic ! 😁👍) This episode is building up more and more epic..!!
I don’t blame you for forgetting my brother Tokoyami, he’s definitely under used. Anyway, I hope those pick me ups do their jobs, take it easy
while you cried , personally I was mute and flabbergasted by the scene in that EP !
Awesome reaction! One of my favorite reactors
@0:52
That's what I said! 🥸
9:14 Not the Reese’s peanut butter cup
Thank you for your reaction video.
You re my favourite reactor
He rewinded himself at that moment because he wanted to use that as a last resort because if he did used it then he would have probably rewinded himself to his death and wasent sure how much it would rewind
12:48 he had reasons
Feel better Lex
Dr Garaki created copies of quirks in his lab
No ! I mean crying is good , it's very emotional , specially Endeavor !
all for one prime is back 😥😥 bcs he rewinded himself
Okay but his wording here scares me cause like. "Im done with this body" IS HE REWINDING TO BEFORE HE GOT FUCKED UP FIGHTING ALL MIGHT??? How far back??😭
Also Endeavor's arc i truly do love. I understand why people don't like him, but hes truly doing his atonement properly (which very, very few people ever accomplish).
I'm an anime only person so please Manga lads no spoils! Just voicing my theory after watching this morning :)
just going to point out that I don't think the eraser bullets have an off so might of just slowly de-age to death with how old he is. at least that's what would make since from taking the damaged self-destruct version in the bullet maybe?
Beating your wife and kids for 40 years and breeding them kids like pokemon with perfect IV isn't something you can redeem or atone properly. I disagree that you think people hate him. Its only few people cuz most of the fanbase is endeavour tards.
@@matthewhickson21eraser bullets do have an off, that's why mirio only got his quirk erased. I think they just used Eris DNA that was in it to make something for AFO as a last ditch effort in case something like this happened
I think Deku’s dad is Principal Nezu lol jk
We learned... last season, I believe, that the doctor had figured out how to make copies of quirks and was keeping a stockpile in reserve for AFO, Shigaraki, nomus, and whatnot.
AFO also said that he'd given the original quirks (including his own) to Shigaraki and kept copies for himself, since he sees Shigaraki as his real future self.
I mean heavy Star wars stuff here and there in this show , so maybe AFO is Deku dad ( and yeah it is a popular theory) but also , Deku hair is from his Mom lol
Exactly, until now, Deku's father identity still unknown..Annnndds i'm so afraid if this theory bcome true tho 😂😢. Better end it wity deku being fatherless than AFO being his actual father. Please no
@@Moonlight298erghWell if you want manga spoilers to know if that is the case or not
No, AFO isn't his dad. Thank goodness that theory died.
@@raec5426 i'm manga reader thos, so i already read until the latest chapter tho, his father still not reveal yet, so this theory can be true ( i truly hope not, and better hori didn't do anything bout his father, even it's will make him broke his promise or saying that his father have crucial role in war 😂)
@@Moonlight298ergh For that:
Nah, it would have been revealed by him when he was spilling the beans of Shigaraki's whole history if it was true.
@@raec5426 nah i know, the logic if afo is really his father, it supposed to reveal at that time and scene, but well, we never know maybe there's some twist in the end. I just thought there a tiny little bit chance for it to happen. That's just me 😁
🫂 great EP.
So Endeavor eh! 🤩🤯🧡💥🔥
Why he used rewinding now?
The project was incomplete, so, the drawbacks are unknown
Does anyone know how the capsule AFO used to rewind himself didn't burn up in the Prominence Burn attack in the sky??
Never thought of that
I doubt that he had a capsule with him. I think they just wanted to show us, that he somehow got the rewind quirk from that capsule. Maybe a research from the doc and copying the quirk factors from the bullet. We allready know that Doc. Ujiko gave the original AFO quirk to Shigaraki and made a copy for AFO. Why not make a copy of rewind from the Quirk factors.?
@@allmight4858 oh good point - thanks!
👍...great reaction.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I think I’ve seen you somewhere in Ontario, or maybe I’m down with a flu :p
You wanted that death, u got it. It's fucked up, but was good
Prime AFO coming back 😱
