The Rhythm of the City Y101 started their airwaves on March 1, 1980 (40 Years ago) playing CHR and Top 40 as gave "ALWAYS FIRST" to the listeners in Cebu. These are based on "Rhythm of the City" jingle packages (like 3DB, KFRC and 68RKO) produced by TM Productions (now TM Studios) in Dallas. That jingle package still used during Friday Gold Rush (until now).
