echo"s new equipment is definitely lighter and more powerful. they're moving in the right direction. probably going to pick up the 3020 string trimmer sometime this season.
I have always enjoyed the ECHO product they have always been lighter then compared to others except for the blower good but heavy. Lol I didn’t demo the 3020 yet but if the 2620 is a beast I can only imagine the damage the 3020 will do.
Yes I still like this trimmer. It is heavier than the other trimmers. If your thinking about buying one and you live in the Orlando area . Let me know I’ll let you demo mine if you want. They are pricey
Great job on ROUNDING off the boxwood with a long shaft trimmer !!!! I run STHIL myself and I noticed that the actual"hedge trimmer" is also heavier. I did the same by adding a hedge trimmer head to one of my trimmers. I would love to run a shorter shaft for weight but I find the longer shafts are more versatile . I love how ECHO has installed the tip guards on their trimmers. I personally would love to see a CARBON FIBER shaft build and the motor lightened some how.I do not feel there is a need for a large CC engine for hedge work.So this may be away to lighten the motor. Hedge work really puts a hurting on you physically . I know Stihl has carbon fiber extensions for the kombi systems. So if ECHO is reading this !! Build it and I will buy it !! 👍
Same here I would love to use a shorter hedge trimmer but also like you I found that the longer shaft hedge trimmer are more versatile especially the articulate trimmers. I believe the gear box on this trimmer is made of the carbon fiber material that what make it very light. Not sure on the shaft . Are you enjoying this weather? Plant growth has really slowed down.
Moreno Landscaping & Maintenance Yes sir , weather has been nice. The rain has been a little odd, but it has kept the dust down 👍 Doing a lot of equipment repairs and maintenance. Great to see you getting some equipment to review. I hope you get to keep them!!
You trim *real* nice bro, looks like you got some high dollar customers too. Keep up the good work and keep kicking grass and making cash.
I love trimming hedges, idk why, the HCA 2620 and SHC 2620 are both on my list
What hedge head do I need to put on my SRM 225 string trimmer like you did ? Great video
Spray lubricant recommendation and blade cleaner ?

Silly question but can the HCA-2620 use the attachments like the pole saw and weed eater attachment?
Can you attach an Echo articulating hedge trimmer onto a straight shaft grass trimmer like a SRM 225?
You should be able too you probably need to turn the shaft to line up the hole for the articulating head
Nice clip at the end
Thank You
Great review just subbed

Do you sharpen the blades or replace the blades.
