How many times have we heard that the market alone will find a solution to a problem the market caused, only to watch said market have to be bailed out by governments? How much "innovation" is down to the market alone, really? Because if you have a smartphone in your pocket, nearly all of the breakthroughs that led to those core components were funded by government research and government grants. This is well documented. When will people realise that free market extremism is just as dumb and unsupported by evidence as communism, the other side of the coin? Imagine if humans like Johan had the ability to recognise nuance and balance.
i agree that with better economic performance we can do better for environment, but I prefer the word "ambition" over "greed".
