I think you'll find that this is not the St George's Channel but the Town Cut, widened in 1917 for access to St George. The St George's Channel is actually the name of the channel to the east, which used to be the old and more tortuous route into St George's Harbour. I don't think it is used nowadays. You might like to consider re-titling your video clip!
