    What I love to do when I don’t have time to make my own barbecue sauce, I take a store bought that I like, throw it in a pan, add fresh lime juice, habanero, honey and a little apple cider vinegar. Cook it down until it gets thick. Almost As good as home made. Actually I can’t tell the difference. Except in mine I know exactly what’s in it.

    I have that smoker. I leave the pit in smoke mode for 30 minutes to get more smoke flavor.

      @@BuckeyeBackyardBBQ not sure why that happened to yours. My smoke mode stays below 180. Maybe different ambient conditions.

    How do you change the pellets if you want to smoke res for example?

    • @BuckeyeBackyardBBQ
      @BuckeyeBackyardBBQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t change them I just add the next bag. But if you want just burn them off or vacuum them out.

      It has a small door in the back that allows pellets to fall out if you want to remove excess.

  • @donlyons5279
    @donlyons5279 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why when I try to cook on 250 degrees my ribs aren’t done nearly as fast as yours. Last week I smoked mine at 250 and it took almost 6 hours to cook and they weren’t done so I put them in oven for and hour to finish at 400 degrees and they were great.

    • @BuckeyeBackyardBBQ
      @BuckeyeBackyardBBQ  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you a ribs fall off the bone or a take a bite and everything stays in place kids guy? If your fall off the bone then it will take longer. And it there are not baby backs but spares they take longer too

      @donlyons5279 then that’s why I’m a competition kinda guy. Where it stays in the bone lol. Ether way is fine. Just keep yours wrapped in foil longer is all
