    • @TreasuryRoad
      @TreasuryRoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thankyou, its not private I just haven't designed or moaicked the heart, creating videos takes considerable time and effort and for me to mosaic it I would need to allocate several weeks at least and I don't think the interest will be there. If I find a place to put it in the garden and I am in the "zone" to do it then I may look at filming or at the very least take a photo. :)

    What grit sandpaper did you use for the sanding of the thin set? Thank you for your very informative videos. Florida Fan

    • @TreasuryRoad
      @TreasuryRoad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thankyou so much Peggy. I just used what I had on hand, it was a course grit sandpaper but I didn't use it much I just used it to tidy the surface up a bit. I really didnt need to use it because I used thinset to adhere the tessera on which is quite forgiving over an uneven surface. :)

    Love this series! I'm inspired to give it a go. What is the shaver called and can you get those from Bunnings? Also what sort of stand is needed to hold the heart in the garden?

    • @TreasuryRoad
      @TreasuryRoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thankyou very much, appreciate that. The shaver is a Stanley shaver, but you can use a wire brush, a horse brush pretty well anything that will shave the polystyrene. The type of stand needed is dependent on the size and the type of project you create as well as the center piece you put into the project but anything that holds the finished piece up and fits in the pipe you put into the polystyrene. :)

      Thankyou so much, the tool is a Stanley shaver l bought it from a polystyrene supplier, they are quite common, l believe you can also use a horse scraper shedding tool it has a handle and around 3 or 4 half round thin strips of metal with teeth on it, just Google them and lm sure Amazon sells them. :)
