      well in thailand the scoring is a bit different so its sometimes difficult for fighters to judge on their own right after the fight

      @@grandroofing1604 doesn’t matter. 😂 Saemapetch, was faster, sharper and was scoring more than him. Just at the end Rodlek was finally doing something but wasn’t enough.

      @@aleksander8320 that is true but in muaythai specially when it's close the aggressor the one going forward will win cos the score alot on forward pressure, but in this case Fairtex counted well sometime he counted and Rodtang had no answer that's the reason fairtex won

    Can someone explain why the keep touching gloves like high-fiving? I'm not making fun of them - I'm genuinely curious
    I'm guessing its for determining range and also to stifle that hand, right?

      Yes they are trying to check/control/parry each other's lead hand with their own lead hand, they do this to set something up or deny the opponent to set something up. This happens alot in this fight because one of them is southpaw (rightfoot forward) and the other is orthodox (left foot forward) which makes their lead hands line up with each other.

      Rodlek hurt him more but petch jus had the speed advantage. And he’s a beautiful counterpuncher. Everytime rodlek hit him he’d answer back with 3 or 4 more shots
