Hey, I am parting out a lift kit because I hate myself. So far, I have the extended shackles and BJ spacers. I understand I will need a longer brakeline, shocks, and from your video, the balljoint grease fittings, that should be it right? Do you have a part number for those fittings?
Hey im just getting my feet wet from these kind of stuff. Its possible to fit any shock ang leaves right? I mean i want one of them ironman foamcells and 100kg leaves and i can prolly fit them with a few mods.
Hi vanderbosch! absolutely love your videos! I own a delica l300 as well. Was wondering where you got your service manual? I'm having a hard time looking for one. Cheers from the Philippines! thank you
Hahaha! I apologize! I have been busy with work and life and haven't done any work on the delica lately! She's still running and I've been just enjoying the drive! Hopefully I will start making videos again soon!

Hi VanderBosch, me again! Thanks for sharing that. I want to do some underbody sealing work given the quarantine measures in place (and it seems like they will be for a while..). To get to the wheel arches I want to lift up the Delica. However, do you think just a jack on the axle will be enough for that purpose? I dont plan to do any technical maintenance whatsoever it would be just for this, it could help to minimize the costs of this venture you see ;).
For safety reasons, I believe its good to have the support on each side just in case something tilts/slips. However, you could lift it up from the rear axle and see how stable everything is first before deciding on purchasing stands or not. Stands are good insurance that last forever, so I would personally recommend them. But in the end its your call!
Hi vanderbosch, how are you? Dude, i'm from Brasil and here we call The delica as L300 and we do not have it 4x4. But either way i'm planning of buying one and lift it... whats is definetly not common here. Mostly of tese vans are used to take children tô school. So... if i wanna it, i'll have to search for parts abroad. Your vídeo was one of The Best vídeos about it, and would like to check with you how much did you expend buying the lift kit and whatever parts were needed. If you can help me in this Journey i'd grateful. Cheers Edu
There definitely seems to be multiple layers of undercoating on my van, so maybe the undercoating was plugging it? Brakes haven't failed yet so I'll roll with it haha
@@vanderbosch478 nice video. I'm not a delica owner, so I don't know much about these but figured I'd share my mechanical info which may be applicable here. That issue with the bleeder on the proportional valve is most easily remedied by back feeding into the system. Those long and narrow lines, are a bear to push air out. This method is easiest. Open the bleeder that's furthest from that one with a hose and a catch pan and feed it in through the bleeder near the proportional valve... should do the trick.
I didn't see that much of a difference in how the van handled. I did have some issues finding someone that would align the vehicle. For some reason a lot of the shops locally didn't want to touch it.
Hey, is there a l300 parts there, I want a turbo l300, I'm from Indonesia, a l300 car here has no turbo, I also have a youtube channel about l300, it's called Nizam Jail
Unfortunately I don't have direct access to parts. I've heard of some people ordering new Hyundai engines that are basically the same as the 4d56t turbo engine in the delica. I'd go to delicaforum. Some people are doing group buys, maybe it would help to see how they are ordering the engines.
Thank you for the info of the spare parts of your delica, really helps! 🤙🇵🇭
I owe you a 12 pack of your favorite beer.
Did you ever figure out what that extra bleed screw was for/did that ever act up not getting anything out?
Did this affect the driveline angle?

is it possible to post a link or the PDF. The website that sells the kits is offline. some directions to install would be helpful
I’m 6”4 and there isn’t a L300 high top around to test drive would I fit in this ? I’m thinking about getting it . A early to mid 90s one
I'm pretty short so I don't think my opinion would be valuable. I'm about 5'6" and don't have any issue
6'2" and there's defnitely a few inches above my head. Depends on torso to leg ratio I guess lol. Love my 93' Chamonix
Hi could you please give me the part number of front/rear procomp shocks. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the great info, do you think the same shock models would work for a 3 inch lift kit?
My uncle wants to lift his delica. This is so informational, gonna recommend this to him later.
Awesome! Hope everything goes smoothly!!

Search DelicaForum service manuals, people have posted the full PDF service manuals! I've saved them all on my computer for reference!

I was riding the Starwagon, which was up to 6 inches.
Damn! I've seen some come from over the seas with insane lifts, haven't seen any on the market unfortunately :(
This is incredibly helpful
Was there actually a difference in the shape/ size of the leaf bushings? Rock auto has one part number for both.
Nevermind, helps if you actually listen to the video 🙄
Invest in a flare nut wrench set for brake lines.

Never work under a car that is jacked up without stands. The risk of it coming down ontop of you is just too high
Hi guys, ok clear message! Thanks for your input. At least I know now the spots where to place the supporting stands, cheers. Timo
