My headcanon for this is that Skid being there was enough to give Pico his confidence back, enough to be able to uncorrupt himself and partially uncorrupt Mearest.
Skid really hit MM with the death stare and the corruption pico fell off and she got damaged.. really shows how strong skid Is when he Isnt scared (real)
Pico has Escaped the corruption by Skid’s help but will MM escape and will Bf be able to uncorrupt Whitty I guess we will have to find out. Edit 1:Wow I rlly like the lore with the play nice work

The truth is, although how strong Skid was made Mom lose her powers.
The power scaling on this is outrageous
somehow Skid turns into a top tier character by just appearing.
