First of all, congratz for finally getting that blackcell gold. I just found your channel recently and the BO3 series has been on damn streak. Love watching it
but I have a question. I'm tempted to play BO3 in PC, but still worried abt all these "malicious" rumors lately. Is there anything that I should look out for/do before playing MP? I heard I need to get the T7 patch thinging but I'm not sure what else. Thank you if anyone willing to answer
T7 Patch is a must I feel. Not only to protect yourself from any malicious intent (which btw has happened to me very rarely over the last few years) but it also fixes some of the core problems on the game such as the FPS issues in the menus and in game because of steam constantly trying to verify your game files.
In the old episodes without the patch I was getting anywhere from 70-120 FPS and now with the patch I average around 150-240 HUGE difference!

@stoicsic5194 the T7 community patch. Not only does it protect you from the cheaters but it also fixes the problems in the menus and in game and gives you more FPS.

how did you get the camo challenges to count on the default class? they don’t for me? just sat there and broke a good 20 streaks with it to see none of them counted😭😭
I'm not sure maybe you have to unlock the weapon through levels before any of the camo challenges count?
I've picked up DLC weapons many of times and got camo challenges but DLC weapons are always unlocked right? I might have cracked the code mid response 😂

I've never had anything happen to me on this other than being kicked off the game and my IP shown in the game chat which has happened only 4 times in like 3 years

My games is locked 70 fps why ? ....
Alright little word of warning this is going to be a long response but I do have an answer:
There is a problem with steam trying to constantly verify your game files every 3-5 seconds which is causing both laggy menus and laggy games and which is why your FPS is running so low, so it's a steam problem not a PC/Game problem so don't worry about that, this has been a problem for years and to be honest with you I doubt they are ever going to fix it BUT there is a community patch which fixes your problems and as proof it works I use it in ALL OF THE RECENT episodes of this series.
It's called the T7 COMMUNITY PATCH by shiversofdev I think if you type that in on your browser there should be a GitHub link to download it and he does have a video on how it works and everything, this makes it so you can change your name in game, password your games so that only friends with the password can join, and it FIXES those FPS issues and problems caused by steam. You can watch some of the older episodes of the series and see I was locked at around 70-90 FPS too and my PC is pretty good but as soon as I downloaded this patch the game runs a lot lot smoother and as you can see I get so much more FPS.
Sorry for the long response, just wanted you to know there is nothing wrong with your PC and there is a fix! Hope to catch you in a game sometime!

There is a menu called the MXT menu where you can unlock everything including camos and DLC weapons.. thats the quickest way to do it if you don't want to grind the game again!
