Have you tried running 3 s battery? I have one of these trucks and it rips. I put lights, smaller wheels and shocks on mine also.

no, I haven't tried any other battery besides the backup battery. I think I might try a 3s in the summer.

Hey what’s up I just got this truck I love it but I want it faster and better shocks I have learned that you can use a 3s 11.4 volt Lipo battery that makes it much faster but can I get better motors?

you can do both if you want. you just have to make sure you check to see if everything works together.

so sorry for not seeing this comment! youtube settings must be messed up. as far as the size for the shock fittings, you need to take them into a RC store to get them sized up or research on the parts store. the guy who sold me those didn't leave on the tag.
