@@EasyWind013 Yeah, Capcom already confirmed Village is apart of what's considered to be the 7 trilogy. It's the middle entry. RE7 - RE:Village - RE9 and that this particular trilogy would end with RE9. Probably leading off into their new story concept afterwards for any future entry. They were already working on RE9 even during RE8's development. We still have a lot to look forward to. Not even counting the new 2019-2020 remake timeline that exists on a similar plane, that story is continuing as well. We should be seeing a lot more remakes since Village is finally out and done. And RE9 is already into development. Definitely makes it easier for them to take that time to focus on separate entries. Like those leaked not too long ago.
Or if they were forced to fight each other if Jill is still a member of the BSAA, could also be possible that she was chosen to be the base of the female bio-weapon soldiers if they made any of them!
This makes me wonder what virus or parasite will be in re9 the las plaga or the molded 🤔 or maybe a new virus all together and can I just say that zombie bsaa soldier looks really creepy 😰 in a good way

@Chris Can Too! Well he sure knew that he wasn't going to live any longer even if they made it back. The mold lost all it's power. Ethan was just mold. He killed Miranda and that left the mold unstable leading to Ethan falling apart. When she revived herself as the ugly mass in the end and got blown up, even if Ethan was on the plane with Chris, Rose, and Mia, he would die right there. What is still baffling is, how did Rose come to exist?
If Chris is going against the BSAA then we would most likely see Sheva,Josh and Jill fight along side Chris to take them down since the BSAA was to destroy the very thing umbrella did not become them.
It's actually what I think. RE VII & VIII were connected to each other and I think IX will be connected to these two as well. AND I REALLY WANT JILL TO COMEBACK and IX is probably will be the one
Also that moment where Jack cuts off Ethan's leg and has him crawl for the leg and first aid med to reattach it, its almost as if Jack was showing Ethan his new abilies as mold without flat out telling him he is mold

I've been thinking about this too JJ. And honestly i feel like Capcom is setting us up for an even bigger twist than what was in village. Honestly i cant wait to see whats in store for the RE storyline! R.I.P Ethan Winters.
I genuinely feel like Chris will accept Rosemary's help, only because she didn't choose to become a bio-weapon, she was basically born as one, and is still a good person, who wants to do right by the morals her father had. So that alone is why I feel Chris will accept her, even though she is a BOW herself.
The problem is that apparently whoever is in charge of her custody (BSAA or the government, but definitely not Mia) are experimenting on Rose just like they did with Sherry and Evelyn. They're hurting her, probably forcing her to work for them and she practically has cero freedom. That's some villain origin story....

@@macmiller9510 Negative. Before they even think of whacking any of the OG characters, first they need to be featured in some more solid next-gen installments. Ethan is NOT a suitable replacement for Chris and neither will his daughter be (though that's probably the direction Capcom will go given the status quo).They need to suture up the story after Raccoon City into one coherent, revised continuity and reunite Chris with Claire at least one last time before sending him off. Why they're p*ssyfooting with the CV remake one can only guess, but they need to also wrap that up as well after 4 remake is released...
It's more than likely that CAPCOM used Chris's model and recycled it for the BSAA soldier, likely because Chris is large and muscular and what better way to highlight a mutant soldier than to make him large, bald and muscular? If it was a clone of Chris of some sort, you would think that either Chris or the game itself would make a bigger deal out of this revelation. The game does recycle models a lot as well when it comes to minor character glances, the little girl in the post-credit scene uses Sherry Birkin's model from RE2, and the mysterious man who approaches the vehicle at the end of the scene reuses Ethan's heavily damaged model too. I wouldn't put it past CAPCOM to do the same for the soldier too. But I could be wrong as well, so let's just hope CAPCOM will consider some kind of expansion story DLC to tie some of these plot loose-ends up!
Capcom did put cloning in the main series of games. There's mention of it in UC, which is canon. Apparently, a large portion of the T-103 or T-00s are cloned from Sergei. Then they found that they can harvest certain genomes from kids and mass produce tyrants in Survivor.
Really appreciate the RE6 background music as most people hate that game the most in the series. I used to listen to the music of RE6 non-stop after it came out. Also, great video and theory!
I would also like a tie in with lets say Natalia working for the BSAA and corrupting the company since she is possessed by Alex Wesker with the help of Jessica. I would also hope that if they do that type of story with Chris that CAPCOM would use the same play style as RE2.

Resident evil 6 was essentially the same structure of this game, except instead of using playable characters to separate the tone of the game, they used the different houses. I think this may have the way for a something similar with what they did with RE5, and sort of bring a similar tone in terms of enemies, but fix the atmosphere and pull it back from being so much of an action shooter, almost like 4. We'll just have to wait and hope they take it in a direction that the fans want.

In other words, move the aesthetic towards more of an RE4 / RE5 blend, but with Chris. You have no more idea of what they're gonna do than anyone else so just going to have to be patient lol

Those people prefer Rose than Jill. Hopefully, we can get her in the next CGI movie. But it seems that 9 would be about Rose and nothing about Jill or Claire. Even if they were there, surely won't be available as big playable roles.
As cool as it might be to follow Rose's story, I kind of hope it doesn't, as this would mean a time jump of nearly 20 years. Granted, they could reduce this by saying Rose aged rapidly like Evaline, but still, it creates a possible narrative timeline problem in my opinion.
Tbh I feel like they’re done with the Og characters and are moving on to new characters now. What I’m hoping to see in Re9 is Rose teaming with the child of Chris and Jill, and the child of Claire and Leon. Just imagine this trio, it would get some closure for the fans too. And each of the three protagonists can have their own playstyle and sections like the older RE games. Anyways, just my fanfic 😅
@@sal4731 Well Capcom can't just forget about the OG characters like that. They have to give Leon, Claire, Jill, Ada, Rebecca, etc. a proper conclusion to their stories first before moving on to new characters.

Pro tip, always keep a save file before Heisenberg fight if you want to play as Chris. You can only play as him for a small amount of time. Hope this gets a Chris DLC just like Re7
@@8DarthGhost8 Nope. The earliest you can save is before that mini boss with the propeller, then after that it’s Heisenberg and then you can play as Chris.

If you look through villages concept art ada was originally in this game. She had a pretty cool look to wearing a crow mask and using her classic crossbow. She was originally gonna save Ethan when he’s running through the cavern trying to escape the werewolves but they cut her involvement.

After that, he might have been kept in memory by the Megamycete's mold but then as the Megamycete exploded, why would he return ? Or maybe Rose kept a version of her father in her mind just like Ethan kept a part of Evelyn in him ?
My theory is BSAA are The Connections They approached Miranda to create Eveline as a prototype for their new line of BOWs we see. Thats why they strangely covered up the bakers incident, not for failing to intercept evie in 7 which was a common mistake but cause they helped make Eveline and they sent these secret BOWs to the village to tie up any loose ends with Miranda. Think about it what were Umbrella's entire point for their equivalent the Undertakers/Cleaners in RE survivor. To dispose of incriminating evidence with disposable BOWs in high risk areas. Why send in these things to the village instead of their real soilders or blue Umbrella again. Answer Cause they have to tie up loose ends and cover up their "connections" with Miranda and the Mold research they funded without any witnesses

This makes me two things what virus or parasite are they going to bring back in re9 the las plaga or the mold or maybe combine the two of them because we've seen what they can do alone but combined maybe that is how their making these bow soldiers 🤔 and maybe there's someone from the connections who is in the bsaa headquarters and turned them evil or maybe they finally realized that if they wanna fight bows you need bows of your own 🤔
Remember the first trailer of Resident Evil Revelations when there were two Chris Redfield?!! They scrapped that angle for the final game but they could recycle that plot here and in the future.

What I wanna know is- what were Leon, Claire and Jill doing when all this went down? Leon specially, he should’ve been informed about the Eveline fiasco. Not to mention, Rose in the end credits was surrounded by secret service agents so their is no way Leon doesn’t know. So what is he up to? Family vacation with Sherry and Claire or just Ada for that matter.
I think it's far more likely that Blue Umbrella is what's corrupted the BSAA. Like, since when was anything in Resident Evil with the name Umbrella a good thing? Blue Umbrella was introduced in RE7. RE7 was the first game in a trilogy wich is coming to a close in RE9. So what's more likely... The BSAA turning out to be the big bad? Even tough they where never really much of a foccuse in RE7. Or Blue Umbrella being Umbrella making a combeback after infiltrating their worst enemy and turning them to their side HYDRA style? Seriously dude, it's Blue Umbreall for sure.

Since you weren't suppose to see it ingame clearly, they probably just used Ethans model so they don't have to model a brand new character. No big Deal. With this here, it could be the same. Chris makes no remarks that it looks like him & it could again just be used to save some work.

Here’s another mysterious thing, Resident Evil Village’s official front cover has Chris being half Werewolf which was never shown in the base game, so what happened to that, is that just symbolism that he’s just the Alpha of the Hound Wolf Squad or will there be DLC where he somehow and some way finds another kind of Cadou and gets expose to it, and resulting him turning into a Werewolf Alpha BOW to fight against the BSAA’s BOWS, which would be so badass, but there’s still so much more we don’t know about hopefully DLC will come soon.
DLC for RE village maybe : 1. If Ethan joined Heisenberg 2. There still 1 BSAA who still a live , honesly 1 BSAA bioweapon got killed and team Chris found him and took him on her plane (you Will see in ending RE village) 3. I honestly think bioclone weapons using Chris' DNA as a blueprint is a bit far fetched but It's interesting the BSAA are using bioweapons to fight bioweapons. It's setting the next installment up nicely. The entire franchise has taken off so amazingly.
It literally looks like a molded version of Chris redfield down to the yellow and black eyes in the black veins on the face like literally it looks like a clone of Chris redfield that's been infected with the mutamycy or the caudo
I think there’s a chance it’s coincidence. I mean Ethan’s model has been reused in ending scene. And I didn’t really realise the bio weapon looks like Chris clone. In fact, there are some villagers look like Ethan just before his fingers were bitten off.
My theory of BSAA making and using their own bioweapon has to with the severe losses they suffered in Resident Evil 6 and they wanted some way to not lose as much of their own men again in the future. But obviously, that direction can take the BSAA down a very slippery slope...
They need to really think the story through at that point. Remember, at least last we know, Jill, Barry, Sheva, and Josh are all BSAA members. Also as much as I love this series, we need a definitive end to the OG characters. Let RE9 be all the OGs going out in a blaze of glory. And then save the Rose storyline for a future game.
Well this is my original theory before release. I thought the Chris in the opening hours that killed Mia was not actually Chris, and just a clone of him. Turns out I had it backwards lol
Definitely interested to see how the BSAA is included in future games but personally I'm more interested in the Umbrella Corporations role (Blue). Maybe they will be the new good guys? The syringes that Chris uses in the section you play as him have Umbrella logos on them. Or maybe they are the ones who helped make the new bioweapons. Definitely alot to speculate and theorize on. This new game dropped alot of interesting bombs while explaining some old questions
They are the one that is behind BSAA 's corruption. No way they are the good guys. But I applaud Capcom for effectively making people believe that they are truly good. This is not something I would imagine in the past.
The word Bio Weapon was used in Resident Evil 7 repeatedly toward the second half of the game once the story made it clear Evelyn wasn't a ghost and that the Baker Estate wasn't actually haunted. Evelyn is literally regarded as a Bio-Weapon created by Wesker's Hive Capture Force with the serial number of E-003; no different then the designations Umbrella used to give their Tyrant models.
Claire refuses to work with her brother, due to his insistence on finding the right match for her to "continue the Redfield lineage"; it seems Wesker's influence of natural selection and forced eugenics profoundly impacted Chris's worldview since the events of RE5. Now, as leader of the BSAA, Claire uses her brother's DNA, her nemesis, as the new template of BOW clone soldiers in order to eliminate Chris with the only force which exists that can: himself. jk lol

I think taking down the Connections will be a major part of 9. Their existence has been teased the past 2 games and they seem to be pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Well kinda makes sense. Remember resident evil Survivor? You had to fight the BOWs named "Cleaners" back at Sheena Island which were soldier like creatures made by umbrella. Maybe they perfected it. Maybe thats why we see a younger Chris in 7?

I agree that the BSAA is all gone to shit probably, Revelations 1 already showed that the BSAA is not all this magnificent organization and had its issues in the past, who knows what are they up to nowadays? Barry is still BSAA, probably, or maybe he retired? Who knows. Jill is still BSAA? She was, at least in Rev 2, she sent a letter to Barry, I think we read it in the Barry's side of the game. Who else is there...not sure, but maybe all of these characters are very much like Chris now, gone rogue or solo (although I still think Chris is with Blue Umbrella, he does use their healing injectors)...or you know, not BSAA anymore since...well, they seem to be baddies now. It is pretty interesting but I don't necessarily see a direct connection due to Capcom reusing the model they had for Chris, they have reused a lot of models for dead villagers that are quite more easy to notice than that dead BSAA zombie dude. The information is already there, yes the BSAA is acting weird, surprise, let's go find out...and that's good enough for me, really, it's another open road for the franchise to bring back old characters, so let's go for it.
So, one thing I'm confused about is what's happened to Blue Umbrella. There's no reference to it anywhere in 8, and the file that came in the deluxe edition says the BSAA were the ones who mopped up everything about the Baker incident. Did Blue Umbrella just become a piece of the BSAA or was there a screw up between games?

The twists were really good in this game. It would be cool to have Sheva and Jill come back after discovering themselves what the BSAA has been really up to. The bio weapon twist sets up an interesting and intriguing scenario.

It's more than likely that CAPCOM used Chris's model and recycled it for the BSAA soldier, likely because Chris is large and muscular and what better way to highlight a mutant soldier than to make him large, bald and muscular? If it was a clone of Chris of some sort, you would think that either Chris or the game itself would make a bigger deal out of this revelation.
The game does recycle models a lot as well when it comes to minor character glances, the little girl in the post-credit scene uses Sherry Birkin's model from RE2, and the mysterious man who approaches the vehicle at the end of the scene reuses Ethan's heavily damaged model too. I wouldn't put it past CAPCOM to do the same for the soldier too.
But I could be wrong as well, so let's just hope CAPCOM will consider some kind of expansion story DLC to tie some of these plot loose-ends up!

Capcom did put cloning in the main series of games. There's mention of it in UC, which is canon. Apparently, a large portion of the T-103 or T-00s are cloned from Sergei. Then they found that they can harvest certain genomes from kids and mass produce tyrants in Survivor.

@@ventedthesenuts so here is why I think this may be incorrect. Resident evil 6 was essentially the same structure of this game, except instead of using playable characters to separate the tone of the game, they used the different houses.
I think this may have the way for a something similar with what they did with RE5, and sort of bring a similar tone in terms of enemies, but fix the atmosphere and pull it back from being so much of an action shooter, almost like 4.
We'll just have to wait and hope they take it in a direction that the fans want.

As cool as it might be to follow Rose's story, I kind of hope it doesn't, as this would mean a time jump of nearly 20 years. Granted, they could reduce this by saying Rose aged rapidly like Evaline, but still, it creates a possible narrative timeline problem in my opinion.
Tbh I feel like they’re done with the Og characters and are moving on to new characters now. What I’m hoping to see in Re9 is Rose teaming with the child of Chris and Jill, and the child of Claire and Leon. Just imagine this trio, it would get some closure for the fans too. And each of the three protagonists can have their own playstyle and sections like the older RE games. Anyways, just my fanfic 😅

If you look through villages concept art ada was originally in this game. She had a pretty cool look to wearing a crow mask and using her classic crossbow. She was originally gonna save Ethan when he’s running through the cavern trying to escape the werewolves but they cut her involvement.

From what I understood, the first source of Mold, the one that turned him, was destroyed after he killed Evelyn, he was the only remaining of that source.

My theory is BSAA are The Connections They approached Miranda to create Eveline as a prototype for their new line of BOWs we see. Thats why they strangely covered up the bakers incident, not for failing to intercept evie in 7 which was a common mistake but cause they helped make Eveline and they sent these secret BOWs to the village to tie up any loose ends with Miranda.
Think about it what were Umbrella's entire point for their equivalent the Undertakers/Cleaners in RE survivor. To dispose of incriminating evidence with disposable BOWs in high risk areas. Why send in these things to the village instead of their real soilders or blue Umbrella again. Answer Cause they have to tie up loose ends and cover up their "connections" with Miranda and the Mold research they funded without any witnesses

My theory of BSAA making and using their own bioweapon has to with the severe losses they suffered in Resident Evil 6 and they wanted some way to not lose as much of their own men again in the future.
But obviously, that direction can take the BSAA down a very slippery slope...
They need to really think the story through at that point. Remember, at least last we know, Jill, Barry, Sheva, and Josh are all BSAA members. Also as much as I love this series, we need a definitive end to the OG characters. Let RE9 be all the OGs going out in a blaze of glory. And then save the Rose storyline for a future game.

Definitely interested to see how the BSAA is included in future games but personally I'm more interested in the Umbrella Corporations role (Blue). Maybe they will be the new good guys? The syringes that Chris uses in the section you play as him have Umbrella logos on them. Or maybe they are the ones who helped make the new bioweapons. Definitely alot to speculate and theorize on. This new game dropped alot of interesting bombs while explaining some old questions

Evelyn is literally regarded as a Bio-Weapon created by Wesker's Hive Capture Force with the serial number of E-003; no different then the designations Umbrella used to give their Tyrant models.

I think taking down the Connections will be a major part of 9. Their existence has been teased the past 2 games and they seem to be pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Well kinda makes sense. Remember resident evil Survivor? You had to fight the BOWs named "Cleaners" back at Sheena Island which were soldier like creatures made by umbrella. Maybe they perfected it. Maybe thats why we see a younger Chris in 7?

I agree that the BSAA is all gone to shit probably, Revelations 1 already showed that the BSAA is not all this magnificent organization and had its issues in the past, who knows what are they up to nowadays?
Barry is still BSAA, probably, or maybe he retired? Who knows. Jill is still BSAA? She was, at least in Rev 2, she sent a letter to Barry, I think we read it in the Barry's side of the game. Who else is there...not sure, but maybe all of these characters are very much like Chris now, gone rogue or solo (although I still think Chris is with Blue Umbrella, he does use their healing injectors)...or you know, not BSAA anymore since...well, they seem to be baddies now.
It is pretty interesting but I don't necessarily see a direct connection due to Capcom reusing the model they had for Chris, they have reused a lot of models for dead villagers that are quite more easy to notice than that dead BSAA zombie dude.
The information is already there, yes the BSAA is acting weird, surprise, let's go find out...and that's good enough for me, really, it's another open road for the franchise to bring back old characters, so let's go for it.
So, one thing I'm confused about is what's happened to Blue Umbrella. There's no reference to it anywhere in 8, and the file that came in the deluxe edition says the BSAA were the ones who mopped up everything about the Baker incident. Did Blue Umbrella just become a piece of the BSAA or was there a screw up between games?
I only noticed that the healing item Chris uses in his section says Blue Umbrella on the side but yeah that's it.

That dude takes his whole inventory into random locations and on top of that ran to get Ethan’s body after mother Miranda leaves and then moves his whole carriage without a horse or anything with Ethan in it and all his stuff. The twists were really good in this game. It would be cool to have Sheva and Jill come back after discovering themselves what the BSAA has been really up to. The bio weapon twist sets up an interesting and intriguing scenario.
