XFilter is really impressive on drums. The video shows a great example.
I have a xpressor... Holy shit its amazing. Stuff that used to take me hours to get sounding good takes like 5 mins.
Elysia gear is amazing.
He's being very subtle in these demos but these boxes can really take a mix to the next level.
Especially when combined with an izotope rx7 treatment
I mean subtle is the way too go
So is it "the bomb" to use it in mastering, does it sound "sterile", surgical, or has some "mojo" when pushed? :))
this is the best EQ for 500 series I've heard yet, when I add this to my xpressor 500 it's going to be great

Yes, you can use it in mono as well. Not in dual mono mode, however, meaning that you can only process a single mono signal at a time, as there is obviously no possibility of making different settings for each of the two channels.

Im gonna buy it...i was lookin for a double eq in 19,, rack but in 500 its less expensive and Elysia has a complete collection of new tech products discrete class A designs (it talks to me)...with the german qu...alitat and correct prices.

does anyone know if there is any difference between this and the original Elysia Xfilter? Is it just a question of appearance and practicality? thanks in advance.
The audio electronics is exactly the same in both variants. Differences are in housing, power supply and I/O.
