They are awesome John.Got them from TSS Motorcycles in Lower Hutt if you're interested so you won't have to send overseas.Put them to the test on Anzac Day Run with the early start.
Yeah there are 3 types of Triumph Winter gloves like this Norsgasrd is a full leather glove they're all Goretex Gore grip & another that's a 2-1 type glove all got visor wipe as well.Great gloves I've been braking them in wearing them watching the box & very warm with that Primaloft Gold insulation.Richa make great gloves too as do Dianese, Alpine Stars & Rev It.
@JoshNunnyt Do you have own a pair? I love them but the wiper blade isn't is big as my old gloves which wiper blade was twice the size but it's still a wiper blade & works & better than no wiper blade especially on those torrential downpours wiper blade is handy to have give a quick wipe & clear some water & see better.
Yes it's a mid gauntlet some winter gloves go right up on outside of jacket & have a inner that goes under jacket. Short gloves are good in summer but I would choose one's with scaphoid protection in Palm & knuckle protector & leather palm or full leather unless it rains a bit then Goretex top. When you fall it's instinct to put your hands out & scaphoid bone gets broken often so scaphoid protection is good & it can take ages to heal properly.I might get a pair of summer gloves that way hands don't get to hot & makes your gloves last longer.Richa, Alpine Stars & Rev It make good gloves & Richa Hypercane is a great Summer glove with great protection hard TPU Scaphoid protector & waterproof Goretex,Gore grip & be good for 3seasons.
I'm always getting sheep 🐑🐏 jokes from Ausie's so just taking the piss😁😆😂🤣. Richa,Rev It make great gloves for waterproofing & protection & warmth.Full leather gloves the top gets wet & your hand gets cold 🥶 so in winter want Goretex on top & some sort of padding or plastic on scaphoid area on palm.
Excellent. I'm looking for some new winter gloves. Froz my ass off and lost the feeling in my thumbs on Saturday morning heading to Dunedin. Mind you, it was o deg when I left 🥶😆. Be interested to see how you get on RR. Agree those aussies probably prefer the Bobby calfs 🫣🤫🤔😁😆😅🤣😂
To get a good pair of Goretex gloves cost about $200 atleast.Richa Arctic & Richa Cold Protect Gloves a pretty good winter & good price gloves during my research for non heated gloves both Goretex gloves but not Gore grip.Rev It have some good Goretex Gore grip gloves too but I didn't like their fastening system & some said it's tight on the wrist.Keis also do heated inner gloves. Full leather gloves get cold once wet so leather palm & Goretex top.Primaloft is the best insulation but Tri-fleece with Goretex top ok.
Richa do a Lobster 🦞 glove with 2 each fingers in each bit they're called Richa Nordic & are probably the best non heated gloves but look ugly & be good down South.Down South you see those big mittens on bars.Good gloves & heated grips are the one if you have heated grips.
@@iantownsend17 Oh 😲 Fuzzy Biker from Forgotten Motorcycles has these Winter gloves from Alpine Stars & Royal Enfield HE uses & says they're great & gets cold 🥶 & snows there where he lives .RE does collaborations with Alpine Stars & Levi's etc & I probably would of got them if still had Interceptor.
Yeah was a mission & a hunt but found out alot of info.Richa make some great gloves as does Rev It for protection & waterproof & warmth but you don't need that warmth in Queensland. My Dririder gloves the stitching came undone where you hold right glove putting them on & a few people said that but their other products are good.
Great to hear you found something you like , Glove shopping is one of my biggest hates , SO difficult to find a pair that actually fit well , Fat hands & Short fingers !! 😞😂
Some brands actually make short & long fingers but alot also only make one type & fingers to long.Fuzzy Biker from Forgotten Motorcycles uses Alpine Stars Royal Enfield gloves & says they good.RE collaborates with Levi's Alpine Stars etc in clothing. Richa make great gloves & was looking at those too & Rev It but I didn't like their fastening system. It was a mission & I learnt alot of good info in my research.Winter gloves in cooler climates want Gore grip to keep inner stuffing from moving around & out of place when removing gloves or a glove that the inner is sewn into the fingers like the Richa Cold Protect Gloves. Goretex on top for waterproofing & breathability as a full leather glove gets wet on top & leather gets cold 🥶 along with hands.Use their sizing chart should be sweet & fingers should go to ends of glove.
If you got fat hands & short fingers you'll have to try & find a brand that does a short finger.Having fat hands means you'll probably need a larger glove so not tight around hand but problem is the fingers will be long.I don't have them issue.Just type in motorbike gloves that offer short & long fingers & hopefully something comes up.I remember seeing a couple brands that offered both but can't remember which one's.
Good for you R.R hopefully they have served you well check out fly racing I use them the have the best heating elements I've ever encountered three settings I'd send you my old set but my mother-in-law stole them lithium ion battery the damn bird has tiny mits and they all but fall off here if the straps aren't tightened 😂🎉.
I got inner thermal gloves but finger tips still get cold 🥶 just takes 5-10mins longer.Heated socks be good for my dickie ankles on cold day.The broken bones feel it on cold days & real hot days too.
Brother wish to see the museum if I ever get out of the states seen a Russian comment that disappeared probably cause you're a kind kiwi it's my hope I relocate and adapt from the climate if I ever make it Appalachia is rough as well have to bury a wife and figure what else to do with myself now
@@SOLOMOTOUKI was thinking 🤔 about another bigger cc Triumph at end of year or early next year. That Kawasaki S1000 Tourer looks awesome do some good trips & moto camping on that.I see it comes with Quick Shifter stock too.
