How about the Neumann Mikes for the Backing singers and what looks like good quality condenser Mikes for the 2 Ronnies. Today all one sees in use are Shure SM58's that only go up to 15 khz and the vocalists sound like they have grit in their throats. One advantage of these Mikes is that you can bounce them repeatedly on the ground and they still function.

This is my favourite sketch. Polly Parton reminds me of Molly Sugden from "Are you been served". The songs are so catchy and l laugh every time I see this. Love to the two Ronnie's 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I loved the finale numbers on the shows my fave is the ballroom dancing ladies stately as Galleons ..lol and the mock Gilbert and Sullivan too superb talents

Maybe they should put this show back on the air for us the newer generations who weren't around when this originally aired.

I have watched this a few times and on each occasion I have heard for the first time another gag casually thrown in to their performance. They were incredibly funny and it is sadly hard to imagine in this woke day and age that we shall see any comedy double act remotely as good as they were.😊.

The third Ronnie (musical director Ronnie Hazlehurst) was clearly enjoying himself as well.
