- ➡️ Barcelona are being linked with a move for Hull City winger Jaden Philogene as a low-cost alternative to Nico Williams. Relevo and Cadena SER are reporting that Philogene is the club’s ‘Plan B’ and talks have begun over a possible loan move with a purchase option. Despite playing for Championship side Hull, Philogene has bizarrely been linked with top clubs previously. He signed for Hull last summer for £5 million from Aston Villa who are thought to have a buy-back option on the winger.

Philogenes playstyle screams Hansi flick through and through, skillful and direct with his eye's constantly on goal.
Barca should sign this guy he is damn good

For me Philogene is the better siging, the mere fact every team is scouting this kid is gonna be a war for him in the market. This kid reminds me of Ronaldinho, and I've not seen someone like that in a long time, technically gifted, able to play against a low block and can pass and shoot from outside the box. Not to mention we will have the option to get him on a loan. I'll place my bid on Philogene and if Atletic will accept a player swap with Ferran, then we can sign Nico. He's gonna suffer against a low block. It's clear that Hansi was doing a real good job scouting on his off season.
This kid is amazing. He needs a coach like Hansi Flick to help him develop and be a better player. I really hope we can get him even if we get Nico

Where is this dembele comparison coming from. Nico actually plays most of his games and hardly gets injured. A salary increase at his age is quite normal. Why act like he is not worth it. He very much IS. NOT getting him would be a huge blunder no doubt.
