세계를 뒤흔드는 케이팝 그룹 방탄소년단(BTS)이 프랑스의 문화계 인사들과 한류 팬, 문재인 대통령 내외가 지켜보는 가운데 파리에서의 '예비무대'를 카리스마로 압도했다.
방탄소년단은 14일 오후(현지시간) 4시부터 1시간 30분가량 프랑스 파리 시내의 르 트레지엠 아르(Le 13eme Art) 공연장에서 열린 한불 우정콘서트 '한국 음악의 울림'의 피날레를 열정적인 무대로 장식했다.
판소리, 퓨전 국악 공연, 드라마 오리지널사운드트랙(OST) 공연이 이어진 끝에 사회자가 마지막 출연팀인 BTS의 등장을 알리자 우레와 같은 박수와 함성이 일곱 명의 BTS 멤버들을 맞았다.
BTS가 히트곡 'DNA'의 퍼포먼스를 시작하자마자 400여 명 규모의 관람석은 BTS의 화려한 무대매너와 카리스마에 말 그대로 넋을 잃었다.
프랑스 한류 팬들은 환호와 열광 속에 스마트폰을 꺼내 촬영을 하기 시작했고 문재인 대통령과 부인 김정숙 여사도 박수를 치며 즐거워했다.

yeah its really makes an impact when the center is missing but whenever any of the member is missing they would always leave the space and when the member was present on stage they would look out for them (like how jimin kept glancing at jungkook during their performances to make sure he was okay probably) it's so heartbreaking and so heartwarming to watch at the same moment ahh

Seeing the dna formation without kookie, made me realize this is what bts feels when one member is absent or unable to perform. There’s just an empty space, needing to be filled again. Nonetheless all boys did amazing, I’m glad Jungkookie could rest his injured heel, safety over everything.

@@Emeand33 BTS did have to make some amendments in their schedule as they have concerts in Amsterdam right now. The diplomatic event was a sudden invite. They came for a day and flew back.

It's hard keeping up with Love Yourself tour and managing a job side by side. Boys have been performing back to back. They don't take a break neither do they let Armys have a break.

guys, this is not a music show, this is not for entertainment. i don't know if all of you know this but the audience are high status people, authorities from South Korea and France. those who look like teenagers may be their children who happen to be ARMY. but this is the point: they need to film the audience in order to show the president and other authorities' reaction so that we would know what impact BTS has for them. the camerawork in billboard was bad, but this is necessary. you could show this to the antis who believe that BTS is insignificant, and slap them the president and first lady's reaction, who both look PROUD of BTS. their reaction matter to BTS, because they are not only recognized but also loved by these high status people, higher than BTS even, and their reaction must matter to us, armys too. BTS is here to represent sk, not to entertain ARMYs but to make ARMYs proud of what they achieved.
edit: i just discovered that this video was recorded by yonhap news, so this is filmed mainly for news purposes. therefore, the authorities' reaction is really important, journalist have to write something about this.

People complaining about camerawork... please do your research before because it sounds so superficial.
It's a formal event, for the France-Korea relationship. Therefore there are many "high" politicians (Korean and French) as well as the Korean President and his wife that are attending to the event.
They aren't supposed to be ARMYs guys... So yeah, for a news station, it's the political side that takes a bigger place than the performances!
Putting that aside, they did a great job, I feel super proud of them and they should be too because they're really having a good impact on a deeper level than "just music" and it's just so honourable!

Don't need to do research, I'm just here to see the performance not people recording them on their phones :), i think if the cameraman did more research they would know not to turn the camera away at key moments of the performance :D
There are french ARMYs too actually ! Since art students and korean language students were invited too (I know college students were invited but I just heard the majors, I am not sure), some were ARMYs and I saw some videos were you could hear some fanchants but of course not as loud as regular concerts ! But no, no tickets were on sale, it's really a private event (If you meant it like that)
I just wanted to state that we should appreciate it as it is, a political event with various guests, not just BTS performances (There were traditionnal korean musicians and I recommend you to watch their "show" if you haven't seen it:) ) and not complain about camerawork since there wasn't supposed to be a recorded video.

i comeback watching this after Korean Presidential Event Planning Advisor, Tak Hyun Min, recently gave an interview where he revealed a special story about BTS‘s performance, so this is the concert that BTS REFUSE to be paid and willingly gave up their rare vacation day, and this is what he said on the interview :
"BTS had a rare day off but they decided to use that day to come and perform for the event. We offered to at least pay for their travel fees, but the BigHit staff smiled. They asked if it would be okay since BTS will be flying in on a private jet. We looked into it and it would have cost us 100 million won (~$86,000 USD).
They settled with just receiving President Moon’s special edition watches, and they refused to be paid"

I don't think he pulled them in, I think he reached towards them to hug them, which in itself is not common among Korean mannerism, the rest of the members didn't do it. We've all heard of manner hands & distance Korean men keep when interacting with women & usually when meeting the president/anyone of high status a 90 degree bow & handshake is the norm, but the fact that Kookie hugged them must mean he feels close to them. 😊
