Stick in a high gear and turn the back wheel, taking the spark plug out will prevent it from rocking past TDC. On some models I know you can reinstall the inspection bolt without the washer on it to lock the engine at TDC, but don't forget to take it back out and reinstall with the washer or you'll damage the engine. Check a service manual for your exact bike, and if you're unsure get someone with more experience to help you out :-)
Caution: The notch in the crank will show TDC for the Piston, the cams still need to be at TDC to prevent jumping. 50% chance if you only check the crank.
I just installed mine tonight on my 2010 450 EXC . Worked instantly . No more tapping .
Thank you .

I thought you had to wait 10 hours
I would love some feedback on this
Thank you
On your 2024, what's wrong with the OEM part?
Hi, I have been trying to contact you about the tensioner I ordered for a few days, can I get information about my order?
How do you turn the crank shaft? All this info but don't show how to turn it to find the slot..

How do you put the cam on tdc
@@bryce_fa5si pop the cover and verify the dots on the cam gears are facing each other, then run that TDC screw in.
@@tknutt thank you
The only issue with the cam chain tensioner is the fact you want to sell your version.
Damn …. Can’t get much past you .
That’s nothing KTM makes their cams from cheese .. Deny . Deny , Deny .. warranty .. they deserve to fail as a company.
