Hi Wendy I've made these for a while . They are fun. I used wrap loops because I lost beads and charms. Even the jump rings didn't hold. I opened the chain link and put it on, so far so good. Love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing

Hi Wendy! Your purse charms, planner dangles, whatever you want to call them, have inspired me to make them as well. I've now made two as gifts...one in purple and one for my sister, who doesn't wear jewelry, to put as a rear-view mirror dangle in her brand new car. I made it in gray and clear crystal because her car is charcoal. Anyway, my next one is for me and I'm very excited about it. I'll make it in red and clear crystals with gold metal. It'll have rose beads and horse charms to celebrate the Kentucky Derby!!! A "Run for the Roses" dangle!!! I wish I could get it done by race time this Saturday, unfortunately, I have to order some of the things I need so I won't get to make it until after the race. Oh well....but thank you for the fun inspiration!

Such a clever idea! I used a splitring to connect the chain to the large dangle so I wouldn’t lose it.

Beautiful key chain. My hubby is a bike rider and I on the back. He just bought his dream Indian Motorcycle and I made him a key chain out leather to match the colors of bike. I am super jealous that you have a scooter!! I have to master the bicycle first! But now I want to bling out my bicycle helmet. 😄 Congratulations on your anniversary. Thank you for sharing.
We used to have a Goldwing and I rode on the back but it made him really nervous riding me lol. So we sold the Goldwing and he for a Honda CTX something-or-other and I the Wolf Jet 150. I really love it. It is so easy to ride and it will go up to 55MPH
@@wendyscraftingfriends We've had two Goldwings ourselves! Mark also had a Honda CBX which he loved! I am going to start my scooter savings fund this month! I've always wanted to be a 'chick on a bike' and God willing I will be! one with a motor that is! :-) you're awesome Wendy. Blessings.

There is a way to wire wrap that triangle bead. Look for the video on THE BEAD GALLERY HONOLULU. I could never master it, but it can be done.

Love your work and designs. Would you share or recommend a source for the very large beads you use in your work, please? I've searched the internet and cannot locate anything larger than 12mm beads, thus far. I love the silver beads you're using for this beautiful bangle.

This is such a nice tutorial. What size chain are you using? It seems that a lot of chain is very small and really not strong enough to hold charms.

I used split rings for my dangles on my key rings, I made one for a friend and it got pulled a bit and my jump rings pulled out. Luckily she was able to save everything and I fixed it with split rings. It was a process and I broke several finger nails but I felt it would be worth it.
I think those came from Joanns. You need split ring pliers. They are amazing!
What type of cutters do you use for cutting heavy gauge chain?

I’m not on Facebook so I don’t have access to you there. So I’m so glad I can watch you here on TH-cam. I have made several of these but it has been a long time and have never made one as a key chain. Be careful on your bike, they scare me to death. I hope you didn’t get hurt when you fell over. What gauge are those strong jump rings?
I didnt get hurt physically...just my pride and confidence lol! The jump rings are probably 16 gauge. They are very thick!
I'm just curious what tools you're using and where you get them? My cheap set off Amazon isn't holding up very well. I love your keychain it's beautiful

No I dont sell those beads. They are just beads that I have had and put together in kits

You do beautiful work! What type of chain do you use as the main chain? I want to make one but I’m not sure what type of chain to use.
I use any kind of chain with larger links. I have a bunch of pieces of it in my stash that has been repurposed from mainly older jewelry but you could search "large link chain" on Amazon and find something I'm sure 😃

Noooo I quit riding a bike that is way too big and heavy for me. I'm now riding a Honda 300 and getting ready to upgrade to a Honda 500. So nothing to be sorry about but I appreciate your concern
