When I get frustrated playing piano, I remember Beethoven. If he could compose masterpieces while deaf/near-deaf, surely I could learn to play. He gives me the strength to keep going.
Yes especially the fact that he wasn't a child prodigy and had to overcome so many problems and his success was pure hard-work. He is my true inspiration
@@m.hosseinimani5765 He was most definitely a child prodigy, but he was no Mozart as a child. He still showed extreme skill as a child, which even led his father to try and make him tour Europe for money, but he wasn’t exactly the best.
March 2020, schools are closed and I'm home schooling kids. I turned to youtube for help and came across to your video. It got kids interested immediately, they very very curious about his life, music. The art is so cool. Thank you.
Wow, I'm blown away by the quality of the illustrations, and how it ended up being drawn within a heart! A few pronunciations bothered me though - obviously an illustrator and not a musician? All the same, I have subscribed due to the brilliant drawings! Thank you.
These illustrations are amazing!!! I'm an amateur artist (17 years old) and I really love your style of drawing, so simple yet it gives you all the complexity that is needed. I was wondering if you could tell me what markers do you use and why did you choose water colors as your tool? Even if you don't reply I really loved your video and it helped me a lot at school. Keep going!
Hi Lovre, thank you! Sorry we didn't reply earlier... the drawings are made by Brazilian illustrator Cristiano Chaui. He uses different brands of markers, like Pilot (2.0 and 1.0) or Sharpie. He chose to use water colors because they dry fast, but if you notice he uses color pencils as well to give volume. There are more videos in our APP! www.illustratinghistory.com
Other than the mispronounced names, I really love this video. I am using it for my elementary music class on the Beethoven unit. Good stuff. Very talented.
@@goodtimes8229 Ludwig van Beethoven isn't LUHdwig van Beethoven (as pronounced in the video), but rather Loodwig van Beythoven (Germans would pronounce it somewhere close to Loodwish fan Behthoffn though). Haydn is pronounced correctly ‘High-dn’. It is almost certain that Beethoven and Mozart never met, though on a brief visit to Vienna in 1787 he might have heard Mozart play. Haydn (counterpoint) and Salieri (Italian vocal music) were ‘teachers’ - sort of - for a short while in very specifically defined areas; the only person really entitled to be called Beethoven’s teacher was his Bonn mentor Neefe.
Who here loves the fact that he drew all that in a shape of a heart?
(I discovered this video in school)
Me too, long long time ago, when I was very little,my history teacher showed me this,I think like At year 1,when I was at grade 1
