I find it hard to believe that arguably the biggest brand in Motorsports, that charge an arm, leg, nutsack with nuts for a dirt bike…. They must have just been blowing money on shit they shouldn’t have
@@LiveFreeMoto Whatdya mean, "just a rumor"? You said that they're engaging bankruptcy proceedings in Austrian court. And the title of this video implies confirmation of their debt situation. "Revealed" is not the same as "suggests", which would be the appropriate word choice if it's just a rumor.
Cut production for once.. pre order bikes.. make 300 units of each if they sell out. Make as customers pay for them. Sell ur current non sale bikes cheaper. Rebates are tax deductable.. Sell ur bikes cheaper than ur competitors. Example: sell a new 2025 model for $11,000 u only sell 3,000 world wide Or sell a new 2025 model for $9,000 and u sell 300,000 units world wide. Who's making money NOW That's what's wrong with company greed... U don't have customers buying u don't have a business that's profitable..
I have had 7 KTMs over the years and was going to buy the new 300 but there is not 13,000€ of value in that bike plus virtually no warranty. So I bought a Rieju 300 PRO. Couldn’t be happier. The KYB suspension is miles ahead of the WP suspension plus it comes with a kickstart, a carburetor and premix.
@@lindsaymcpherson4744 i needed my 24 year ktm run because of a 2023 300 tbi that i could not get rid of the subtle random bog. Eventually resulting in a crash on a jump that broke me up pretty good. Lets not forget ktm own Husqvarna GasGas Raymon Felt Husqvarna E-Bicycles GasGas Bicycles So 2 billion across 7 different companys is still alot of money but its not 1 brand by its self
I bought my last new bike back in 2011 ktm 350xcf. Swore I wouldn't ever pay that much for a toy ever again!! Still have that bike, just rebuilt the complete top end about 1500.00 less my labor cost. They always claim major changes, frame redesign, etc. Only difference I can see is plastic and graphics!!
The U2 money US money supply in 2000 was 5 trillion dollars. The current U2 money supply is 21.3 trillion. Dollar purchasing power falls with every fiat dollar printed out of thin air.
As for the KTM and their other brands and the off-road products....I do like them and would have no problem buying and racing them....but I am not paying one cent more for their bike than I am for the Honda or Yamaha bike in that category. There is nothing that Austrian brand offers that would get me to pay one cent more than the Japanese offerings.
I all so think that they are just like the car companies, too many bells and whistle. And they charge the frame all most every year , traction control, who really needs it , different maps all over the place , tbi, tbs , bad suspension, better now ? It just drives the price up. That ok for pro racing I guess. But it’s getting out of hand for us.
Redbull will save them,, and I hope they do , we need ktm, in the dirt bike world, and I’m a kawi fan saying this,, I respect what they have done ,, they made the Japan brands have to step there game up ,,
They are a small company. For a company that size the debt is huge. To those saying all is fine. They are in solvency court which means shit is getting real. Combine that with the world economy at the moment and things are not that great.
That's not astounding for that level of business at all. It's actually 1.5 billion Euros which is not 2 billion US. KTM is going to be just fine as a company. Go do some research in the business world. They will realign and the KTM line is going to be just fine. You are totally jacked up! KTM is not going to do away. GasGas and Husky will most certainly go away. Go look at the big 3 auto stocks and look at how far it is down. Look at how much inventory car dealers have. There are dealers with 2023 models still in inventory.
They are in big trouble, much bigger than you make it sound. There will be inventory bouncing back to them as shops close down and return units. Look for more problems in the first quarter next year. If the brand survives it almost certainly will be under Indian or Chinese ownership.
@@kurtheidelbach Do you work in the industry? I do and can promise you it is much worse for Ktm than the media reports. Bikes are sitting stagnant in the showrooms. Dealers are not ordering very many 2025 models at all. The entire industry is having a very rough patch, conditions that do not lend themselves to a turnaround. But hey go ahead and act like you are an insider with special knowledge even though your stayements show you are not.
@@othgmark1 😂Of course some bikes are backed up. They are for many brands but there are still plenty of KTMs selling. It’s a fantastic time to buy unless you are a fool who finances things. Unfortunately that’s too many. Do you have any clue how many cars are stacked up in inventory? There aren’t 23 KTMs around like there are cars. Yes, KTM has had a terrible flood plan for dealerships and that caused some to throw in the towel. KTM will be just fine in the end but only time will tell. A local dealer has a blowout sale on GasGas (red KTM). One bike was $4,000.00 off, it was their street legal 500-I don’t recall the model number. Anyway, unserviceable debt is killing many businesses now.
I bet Suzuki has been saving millions and will surprise everyone with a new RM-Z lineup soon.

Good one.
Yeah and redd from the island boys will be their factory rider
I will 100% buy a yellow Ktm 😂

if you make three bikes should mean you have a better chance of selling one

Put a Kickstarter back on to save money😅
suzuki maybe giving it up and ktm bringing it back lol
